Super clean and nice design. I was looking for a true full range bookshelf speaker (3 ways) and ELAC made a fantastic clear speaker. I am using a Sound Blaster X7 amplifier Limited edition (2 x 50W @ 4 ohm) connected direct to my computer. Honestly you can't go wrong with these speakers. Great quality.
Pros: Great audio quality. beautiful design with small size.
Cons: no cons.

These are basically UB5 with better finish and slim European form factor. Got them at a significant savings with Crutchfield price match. After about a 20 hour burn in period, analysing speaker aesthetics and performance as a three way design, I suddenly began to just listening to the music and it was sublime. My music collection, both CD and other formats never sounded so good. I am fortunate to have a great amp (Outlaw RR2160) providing the Unifis, more than an ample amount of clean power. I also have a small sub (Martin Logan 500 with 10 inch driver) adding a complementary amount of low end ( I set the Outlaw base management to 80 db crossover to the sub) I could not be happier with the resulting 2.1 system. Highly recommended either in this slim format or as the standard UB5- A very happy camper !
Pros: imaging and detail i.e. highly musical
Cons: you might need a moderate amount of low distortion power to enjoy their full potential

The midrange clarity is the best feature, although the low end is impressive for such a small woofer. The high end is accurate without being strident. I have several TMs with 6.5 or 7 inch woofers and this speaker beats them all in the midrange. It does not go as low as the DIY Hitmaker Monitor with an aluminum cone woofer (7 inch). With a good subwoofer all the frequencies are covered.
Pros: Great performance on all frequencies. Attractive and articulate. A modern loudspeaker for high-end sources and amps.
