2' x 2' drop-in speaker unit for commercial audio systems
Our take on the Atlas DT22 by Crutchfield's Eric Angevine
A simple, square drop-in solution
If your place of business has a false ceiling, it can be tricky to add speakers. Or at least it used to be. The Atlas DT22 is designed to drop seamlessly into a standard drop-ceiling grid and provide clear audio reinforcement for anything from announcements to background music. The speaker plate's 2' x 2' footprint allows quick installation into 2' x 2' or 2' x 4' acoustic tile ceilings. The speaker features a 25/70-volt tap with .25, .5, 1, 2, and 4 watt settings that make it easy to calibrate for distributed audio applications. See what our satisfied customers have to say.

It is wire to wire. It has pig tail with several wires and you just choose which one corresponds to watts you are using. Then just daisy chain as you go along. Hope that helps. [ Justin Jul 03, 2018 ]
The Atlas DT22 speakers are designed for clear paging and background music in retail locations--I'm afraid they wouldn't work with a home audio stereo receiver and/or amplifier.
