Best Bang for the Buck!!!!!
2015 Ford F-150 XLT
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)
I started with a 2015 F-150 crew cab XLT. It had the standard system with the Nav. I will honestly say that it is several steps above the factory system. The door speakers were simple to install and they sound great. Nice and clear. The wiring harness that it came with fit perfectly. I hate to see cables and the length of everything was perfect. They even wrapped protective plastic around the Positive and negative cables that run in the engine bay. I love the fact that all connections were made to the factory connections. I didn't have to splice into any door speaker wires. The addition of the sub-woofer brings deep richness to the sound that the factory speakers don't even come close to. **Now, the part that really amazed me was the tuning of the system. The Amp doesn't just run the sub's and the door speakers but it also powers the Pillar and center channel tweeter. The first time i powered it on was the first time i heard the pillar speakers come alive. It truly does sound like a concert in the truck now. The instructions were great but I would suggest watching a YouTube video on how to pull the door panels off. That was helpful for me as some of the panels made me a little nervous because of how tight they were. When I was just about done I realized one of the door speakers had a defect in them. I called Crutchfield and the guy on the phone was very good. I told him what was going on and without hesitation he had a replacement on the way.
Pros: The Concert Tuning by far!!!!! Deep rich base. Grest Mids and Highs. Easy to install. Factory Connections wiring harness
Cons: Takes up all the space under the back seat including the storage area
