The RC-202IPV connecting cable gives you high-speed access to the music and video on your Video iPod or iPhone® through your compatible Sony DVD receiver. One end of the cable plugs into your iPod's dock connector; the other end includes a USB cable and a miniplug video cable, both of which connect to your receiver.

The USB cable handles the control and charging of your iPod, so you can navigate through your music files with the receiver's controls while you view song info on its display. The miniplug connector transfers the video from your iPod to the stereo's video input. Warranty: 1 year.

If this doesn't work, you may need to revert to the older software version or wait until a newer software update is available.

A
I don't think so
bruce  Dec 28, 2013
A
No, This works with the iPhones up through the 4S.
jeffrey  Dec 27, 2013

No, this cable will not work with the iPhone 5, 5s or 5c. I'm waiting for Sony to make one that is compatible before I upgrade from the 4S.
erik  Dec 27, 2013

I don't know about that but my cord is defective. It won't stY in my iPhone 4S.
hal  Dec 27, 2013

I haven't tried it with an adapter, I've only used it with the 30 pin products. A co-worker bought an Apple adapter (not a 3rd party brand) and stated it has worked with all his older docking stations. If I can track him down, I can give it a shot.
