About the Sound Ordnance™ Bass Bunker

Dominic DeVito
Sound Ordnance's rugged Bass Bunker enclosures come built to last and ready to help your sub deliver real low-frequency firepower. These unloaded boxes feature high-grade, medium-density fiberboard construction, with sealed inner braces that help combat resonance by reducing vibrations. Rounded outside corners and recessed panels allow them to fit into more vehicles, while tough black carpeting defends against incoming nicks and scratches. Bass Bunkers make a great solution when building your own box is not an option.

The BB122-125S sealed enclosure holds two 12" subwoofers and offers an internal volume of 1.26 cubic feet per chamber. Just add the right subs, amp, and wiring, then mount the enclosure securely, and you're ready to hit the road with some real bass artillery in your arsenal.

Warning: This enclosure does not include mounting hardware. If you're buying a sub from us, please check "What's in the Box?" to see if screws are included. If not, you should have an assortment of heavy-duty wood screws on hand for the installation.

Materials: The Sound Ordnance BB122-125S Bass Bunker is an unloaded, hatchback-style sealed enclosure for two 12" subwoofers. It is constructed of 5/8" MDF (medium-density fiberboard), covered in black carpet.

Internal Box Volume: The enclosure has two separate chambers, each with 1.265 cubic feet of airspace.

Terminals: The BB122-125S is equipped with two pair of spring-post speaker terminals, one for each chamber, mounted in the rear panel. The spring terminals will accept bare wire up to 10 gauge, pin connectors, and single banana plugs, but are spaced too far apart for dual banana plugs. Customer Q&A

6 questions already asked

Q
Will this fit in a 1976 chevy camaro trunk?
tommie  May 29, 2019

A
We were not able to research the trunk area and opening to get those dimensions needed to check if this box can fit. I looked at some pictures on Google and feel like the potential issue would be the height of the subwoofer box which is 14-3/8" tall and recommend measuring the trunk to make sure you have this height for over a 33" wide area in there.
