Works with Sonos Playbar

This tabletop stand was designed to work with the Sonos Playbar. Mount your TV, and it will appear to hover over your Sonos sound bar of choice. The WSTV1 practically disappears behind your TV and speaker.

Keep cables tucked away in the hollow pillar for a clean, uncluttered appearance. This stand can support a TV with a screen size between 32"-65" and weighing up to 60 lbs.

Q
Weight capacity days 60lbs. Can it handle 82lbs if I've got a 20lbs center channel on the base?

A
Greetings John, and thank you for your question. If the TV is 62 pounds, and your bar is just sitting on the pedestal not mounted to the stand with an extension using the same screws as the TV itself. I think it would be fine. If you would like to check with Sanus (recommended), their number is 800-359-5520.

will it work with a Vizio 32 inch?

I would only recommend this stand if you have a sonos playbase to sit on it. The tv i have put on it is larger than 27". You need to amke sure you have the right VESA alignment.
trevor  May 02, 2021

The screw holes on the back of a TV are supposed to be standardized. I don't know the Vizio but look for information on VESA (?) standard bracket mounting. As the picture shows, the piece that attaches to the TV is a sideways H shape. The screws can be attached at several points, and the bottom crossbar can be moved. We like our Sanus, it's solidly made and it was easy to attach to our Samsung.

It says this stand works for tvs from 32" to 65" so it should work.

As long as your Visio TV has a VESA mounting bracket. on the back ..... Check your TV manual to see if the bolt holes are VESA standard mount holes. You will need help mounting the TV. The GREAT thing about this TV stand is the broad base for stability. The 2nd best part of this TV stand is the vertical adjustment .... which is about 10 inches so that you can mount speakers UNDER the TV on the base which helps to counterbalance large TVs up to 65 inches. After mounting the TV, lower the brackets to assist in better balance and if you have children, mount a strap from the all to TV or stand to prevent harm.

would it work for a 70" TV?

Believe the literature recommends a 65" limit. The weight limit is 60 lbs. Great stand for my 65". Very pleased.
francis  Mar 02, 2021
A
Yes. I have this size TV and the stand works just fine. If you plan on using a sound bar place the center bracket down low on the TV so the TV is held high enough off the stand base to fit the soundbar.

james  Feb 24, 2021

Yes, it should work up 65". I know it worked great on my 55" Sony.
todd  Feb 23, 2021
A
I believe that it should. I think 65 is the max.

Hi the highest I setup is 6" to put my Sonos Playbar under the TV
ernesto  Jun 05, 2019

About 8" from bottom of our Sony Bravia 49" to stand's weighted base. Visit the SONOS site for more in-depth stats. Crutchfield has best price! We love ours!

Q
Is this compatible with Sonos Beam?
nicholas  May 07, 2019
2 answers
A
Yes. I placed the center bar of the stand low on the TV so that the TV is sufficiently raised off the stand base to allow the sonos beam
russell  Mar 02, 2021
A
The Sanus WSTV1 was designed to accommodate the Sonos Playbase, width ~ 28.5 inches, height ~ 2.25 inches, the Beam width is ~ 26 inches, height ~ 2.75 inches. The WSTV1 allows you to position your TV at different height levels, depending on the size of your TV you should be able to use the Beam with the WSTV1.

What are the dimensions of the base? I'm curious whether I can set the stand on top of my center speaker, without much if any hanging over.

The base measures 27" x 14". It swivels from side to side and provides excellent support for my 60" tv. Highly recommend.
james  Oct 10, 2018

The base plate is 24 in. wide and 14 in. deep. We are pleased with quality, weight and stability of product. We have a 55 in. LG TV mounted on stand and a SONOS sound bar sitting on the stand base plate. The television rotates above sound bar.
john  Oct 09, 2018
A
27" wide, 16.45" Deep. it is large, in fact, that is one of my dislikes of this unit, the base is big. so unless you have a large center channel, I'd say no.

Have no idea. I simply placed my sound bar on top of the base.
thomas leslie  Sep 19, 2017

The playbar can rest on the base of the Sanus. There is no mounting hardware to attach the playbar or playbase. The television can then be positioned to sit above the playbar. Before I purchased the Sanus unit, the playbar sat in front of the television and blocked the sensor for TV remote control. Sanu provides an orderly set-up and solution.
david  Sep 19, 2017
A
It doesn't. The tv gets attached to the stand and then the playbar sits on the base below and in front of the tv. The benefit of using this stand is that the playbar will not block the lower part of the tv and the tv can swivel. It also does a nice job of hiding the cords.
karin  Sep 19, 2017
A
Playbar doesn't mount to the stand. It sits below it.
