Easy access to your turntable

The top compartment of the cabinet was designed for turntables. Its lift top has a front glass panel so you can keep an eye on your records as they spin. The top swings up smoothly on a piano hinge. Sturdy gas springs hold the top in any position, and ensure it always closes gently.

Store 3-4 components

The cabinet also features two adjustable shelves, plus a fixed[-]position bottom shelf. Openings in the two removable rear panels let you run your cables neatly. The door features a tempered safety glass panel that allows remote commands to pass through.

Turntable Shelf: The Bell'O ATCA90111 features a turntable shelf with a lift top that opens to a near vertical position for easy access of your record player. The lift top is powered by strong gas springs to keep the top stable in any position and prevents it from accidentally falling. The turntable shelf measures 19.625" (w) x 20" (d), and can support up to 30 lbs.

Adjustable Component Shelves: In addition to your turntable, the ATCA90111 accommodates three additional audio/video components on three interior wood shelves with internal ventilation slots for convection cooling of those components. Each shelf measures 19.625" (w) x 20" (d). The two upper shelves are height adjustable, while the bottom shelf is fixed. The two adjustable shelves can support up to 15 lbs each, while the bottom shelf supports 20 lbs.

Tinted Tempered Glass Doors: Your components are hidden behind a dark tinted tempered safety glass door that allows for remote control operation and reduces dust. Your turntable is hidden behind a separate smaller tempered glass door.

No it is not unfinished. As far as I know it does not come unfinished. It is a dark brown in color. I must say though it is a very good cabinet and houses a turntable perfectly.

If you are asking about bare wood prepped for staining or varnishing, I believe the answer is no. If you're careful, you could probably refinish it but it would be better to look for a unit in the finish you want.

don't see why an appropriately sized set of casters couldn't be fashioned to fit. The base is already quite heavy as is the total unit. Mine sits on a wood floor and slides easily without casters.

I don't think it's possible, but nothing from stopping you from drilling them in. I have mine setup on wood floors and it actually slides pretty nicely, without any lodifications

It does not come with casters or a place to mount them. You'd have to mount a thick board on the bottom.and secure heavy duty casters there. Very heavy piece.

How many inches is the interior in height from the bottom of the turntable shelf to the top of the bottom shelf? Can the shelves be adjusted to accommodate Lp's on the bottom?

~19-1/2 ". Yes the shelves are adjustable and can accommodate record albums.

All of the shelves are adjustable except for the top shelf which holds the turntable. The unit comes with two adjustable shelves. There is a two inch lip below the top fixed shelf. You could have two shelves of LPs if you chose not to use one of the shelves. Also of note is that the air flow vents are located low on the left and right sides of the unit and you wouldn't want to block them with LPs.

Bottom shelf weight limit. ... I see the specs say 20 lbs. My receiver is 22 lbs and I'm just gonna round up and say 23 lbs with cables and connectors and electron gremlins sleeping on top. Is this gonna warp or put excess strain on the bottom shelf? Would it need more bottom support? Or is 2-3 lbs within tolerance? It'd be a waste to put it on the top shelf where I could put a record player.

I have a reel to reel tape player that I would also like to store in this unit should I buy it, but I just weighed it and it is 45 pounds! Would anyone know if that would damage the second or third shelf or would it be alright?

If you are referring to the lower adjustable shelf I don't see the extra few pounds as a problem. I have my CD player and cable box on that shelf. I have my turntable up top as designed but put my receiver on the first shelf which I think is rated for 50 pounds.

I have the 2nd shelf from the bottom at 9 inches and the 3rd from the bottom at 20 inches. there are shelf pins that are adjustable so you might be able to go up or down 1 or 2 inches on each shelf. the 4th shelf is the turntable section.

No. There are extra blocks of wood that the hinges are screwed into on the left hand side. These are absent on the right side, and there are bumpers for the door instead. It would not be impossible to customize it if you are handy however.

If you have moderate woodworking skills you could do it. But right out of the box the hinge is on the left side, period.

The hinges are pre drilled, but i don't see any reason you couldn't drill the holes on the other side. it is a solid cabinet.

Are either of the bottom two shelves removable or can either of them be left out of the assembly? We'd like to store some vinyl albums in the bottom of the cabinet and it looks like we'll need to remove at least one shelf to make this work.

The information we have on the Bell'O ATCA90111 indicates that the two upper shelves are height adjustable, while the bottom shelf is fixed. So you could still potentially store your records under the turntable on one of the two upper shelves; just not the bottom shelf. It's real wood, not sure of the species as it has that wire brushed, dark stain finish. I do wish there had been a choice of finishes. I was very careful with assembly, and I took longer than the estimate, but it was easy. The back has panels that attach magnetically which is wonderful for running wires between components. Fred

THIS is REAL wood...solid and nicely stained...You will not be disappointed. Glass is smoked with quality hardware/fasteners. Agree with other posters..Pictures do not do this justice. In a room it just pops. THIS IS NOT THE JUNK you used to get from Service Merchandise etc. Thanks to Crutchfield for once again having the quality we ask for at fair prices.

It is real wood veneer. It feels very solid. I am pretty darn happy with it. I would say better than expected. I loved the turntable shelf I have an old Technics direct drive, but lost the cover so this works great for me.

How much clearance is there between the shelf holding the turntable and the bottom of the lid?

I measured the distance between the turntable shelf, and the bottom of the lid, and it is 8.5 inches maximum. To be safe, I don't believe you would want anything taller than 8.25 inches in there.
