strong bass easy pairing to sound bar
Bose® Acoustimass® 300 wireless bass module - With SoundTouch® 300 and Virtually Invisible® surround speakers (each sold separately)
Bose® Acoustimass® 300 wireless bass module - Delivers Bose's most powerful bass for your SoundTouch® 300
The Bose Acoustimass® 300 sports an elegant glass top panel, but can produce high-energy bass when needed.
You'll find a wireless Acoustimass® bass module at the heart of many Bose surround sound systems. And the Acoustimass 300 is designed for use specifically with the Bose SoundTouch® 300 soundbar and it delivers the most tightly controlled, powerful bass of any Acoustimass® module yet. And it looks pretty good doing it, featuring an elegant design with a glass top panel. And because it's wireless, it can be neatly tucked wherever there's an outlet nearby.
Make sure you run the SoundTouch® 300's ADAPTIQ® room calibration system after you connect the Acoustimass® 300. It intelligently adjusts the bass for your specific room. This ensures you'll get deep low frequencies that fill out your home theater experience — rather than overwhelming it.
And for complete wraparound sound, Bose also offers the Virtually Invisible® 300 surround speakers.

Love Bose- love the bass module! Can never go wrong with this....
If you want bass from a soundbar setup, look no further. This little setup will fill your room nicely with crisp clean sound and plenty of punchy bass. Easy hookup, and hands down clean look.
Pros: Great bass, small footprint
Perfect addition to the soundtouch 300 soundbar
Just enough base to satisfy my listening.
This sub box really completes the audio that we were looking for in a sound bar system. Watching movies will never be the same. Simply the best.
We added the bass module to the sound bar. It took a bit for the two to connect, but once connected no issue. The sound is amazing and the bass enhancing your listening pleasure.
Deep sounds are great. Does not sound artificial.
This base unit is set up in perfect balance with the soundbar automatically. So it is not too dominant and boomy!
Pros: Set up perfectly with the built in system in the soundbar. Very elegant
Excellent product, especially in concert with the Bose sound bar and surround speakers!
Great and powerful sound, perfect for my living room..
Great product would not expect any less from Bose, compact size sound from this sub is astounding, the thunder that is produced is crystal clear. I would not expect any less from Bose and they deliver. Great addition to the 300 sound bar.
Pros: Crystal clear bass small size
Cons: You could argue about price but the quality is there
Very nice touch A most for the soundbar 300 ..
I purchased theBose® Acoustimass 300 wireless bass and Bose Soundtouch Sound bar and man, does it deliver amazing base and sound!!! I did a lot of research and with the help of Crutchfield staff, ended up with this system. TV, movies and music sound amazing and you actually "feel" the sound. The calibration system worked well and pairing the sub to the sound bar was a breeze. The Bose app works well and allows you to control the settings. I am so glad I purchased the Bose system!
Pros: Base, sound, design, ease of use/setup
Thunderous bass delivered by this subwoofer. Pairs very easily with the Bose 300 sound bar. Creates a fantastic, easy-to-set-up home theater experience.
Pros: Phenomenal Bass Pairs very easily with sound bar
Wow! This sub produces insanely, rich, clear and deep bass. At first I thought it was thunder outside, but this thing can shake my entire house! I also bought the Soundtouch 300 soundbar.
Pros: Small Deep, rich bass Wireless Gorgeous design, glass top
Insane, that's all you will say whenever you hear this! I literally, feel like I'm at an IMAX, I calibrated it of course, recommend that first! Just easily calibrating it, I felt the bass to be thunderous and it's only set to 0! I wouldn't even try to set it up higher! The lows and everything just makes you feel sound from every spot. This and the sound touch 300 are the best wireless you can get! I would buy again!
Pros: Thunderous bass! Easy set up! Value! Sleek BASS and lots of it!
Paired with the Bose Soundtouch 300 sound bar it provides the much needed clear, rich bass that sounds great. The only reason I have it 4 stars is it drops the connection to the sound bar in between uses which is a hassle. But that may be more of a problem with the sound bar than the subwoofer.
Pros: Great sound you expect from Bose
Cons: Frequently disconnects from sound bar.
I have had many Subs over the years - but never a Bose. I can not begin to explain the difference - this is what a Sub is supposed to be - Deep - low sound I hear and FEEL. It is a seamless extension of all sound - the way it is in life!! Thank you Bose
Pros: Sound the way it should be!!
Another Bose winner
Adds great depth of sound to an already great sounding soundbar. Have yet to watch any movies with it yet, but when playing music it KNOCKS!
This is a fantastic subwoofer pairing with the SoundTouch 300. It adds the perfect amount of bass for our room without overwhelming the overall sound quality. Setup was extremely easy. Just a matter of plugging it in and walking through the guide. Only downside to it is it was a little pricey but that comes with the Bose name. If you have a soundtouch you won't be dosapppinted adding this!
Pros: Great sound Easy setup
If you have a big room or intend to watch movies, get the sub, it's necessary. The soundbar has good bass without it, especially if you have a small room or just watch TV shows, news, music.
Pros: Great deep bass, small, looks cool, easy to setup, makes it sound like a movie theater, you can adjust the amount of bass.
When added to the SoundTouch 300 soundbar, provides a rich sound experience.
Pros: Simple set up.
WOW! Nothing else really needs to be said but I will add that this bass is not only beautiful in appearance but also adds amazing depth to the overall sound. Works seamlessly with the Bose 300 soundbar.
Pros: Everything you could expect.
I would have regretted not purchasing the bass module. It elevates the listening experience tenfold.
Pros: Heavenly Loud, full, clear, rich, multi-layered, and distortion-free.
Cons: I wish there was a display for the bass level
Great bass response for music and TV without distortions.
Pros: Delivers extra bass to make Soundtouch 300 soundbar sound that much better.
Great subwoofer. Very impressed with entire Bose SoundTouch system. Love the wifi music cast. Plays pandora, Spotify, amazon music, and iHeartRadio. It's also Very Loud when turned up about halfway and able to feel low rumbles of bass thru the room.
Acoustimass 300: Designed exclusively to wirelessly pair with the Bose SoundTouch 300 soundbar, or add a second wireless subwoofer to a Bose Lifestyle 600 and 650 home theater systems (all sold separately), the Acoustimass 300 wireless powered subwoofer provides dynamic bass response for your movie and music soundtracks. To wirelessly pair the surround speakers to a SoundTouch 300 soundbar, you will need to place the soundbar into pairing mode using its remote control. Once paired, the bass module emits a tone.
Note: An available firmware update lets you pair up to two Bose Acoustimass 300 wireless powered subwoofers with your compatible Bose system (the Bose Lifestyle 600 and 650 already have one Bose Acoustimass wireless powered sub included).
Dynamic Bass Performance: This newly designed Acoustimass bass module delivers a dynamic range of bass from a powerful 10" driver and generously sized port with QuietPort technology that virtually eliminates distortion.
Mounting & Placement Options: The Acoustimass 300 wireless powered sub is intended for use in the same room as the SoundTouch 300 soundbar and has a range of approximately 30'. For best sound quality, the Acoustimass 300 should be placed on the floor against the same wall as the television and soundbar, with an electrical outlet nearby for the power cord. The powered sub should not be placed on a shelf or table.
Note: To avoid wireless interference, keep other wireless equipment 1-3' away from the system. Place the system outside of and away from metal cabinets, other audio/video components and direct heat sources.
ADAPTiQ Audio Calibration: After connecting the Acoustimass 300 to the SoundTouch 300 soundbar, run ADAPTiQ audio calibration for the best acoustic performance. ADAPTiQ customizes the sound of the system to the acoustics of your listening area by taking five audio measurements. To run an audio calibration, you need 10 minutes when the room is quiet.
Note: During ADAPTiQ, a microphone on the top of the ADAPTiQ headset (provided with the SoundTouch 300 soundbar) measures the sound characteristics of your room to determine optimal sound quality.
Bass Setting: You can adjust the Acoustimass 300's bass level using the SoundTouch app on your compatible Apple iOS/Android device or the remote control included with the SoundTouch 300 soundbar.
Minijack Input: If your prefer a wired connection, the Acoustimass 300 bass module and the SoundTouch 300 soundbar can be hardwired together using a standard minijack audio cable (sold separately).
Mono-RCA Input (future firmware update required): There is a mono-RCA input that allows the Acoustimass 300 bass module to be connected to any AV receiver's LFE output. This input will require a future firmware update which is not yet available (no ETA).
AC Power: The Acoustimass 300 wireless powered sub will require AC power. You will need to connect its detachable 5' AC power cord to an AC outlet.

I have the bose soundbar and it is nice but the woofer really kicks it up a notch. without woofer is like hearing a live band without the bass. [ damian Jun 07, 2017 ]

I was advised that my Klipsch sub-woofer would be compatible with my new Bose soundbar...it was not....and who, in their right mind, could go through life listening to movies and music with no sub woofer??? So I bought it.....really didn't want to, but had no choice. [ William May 30, 2017 ]

Goes with the Bose 300 soundbar... My home theater room requires wireless surround with small pocket surround satelites. KEF wireless setup died and is discontinued. Giving Bose a shot. [ K Mar 04, 2017 ]
I have the Soundtouch 300 Sound Bar so it was not difficult to know which Subwoofer to add to my system. I may later add the two invisible speakers to complete the 5.1 surround setup. The Crutchffield and Amazon reviews for the Subwoofer have been very complimentary but the Surround Speakers do not get very high remarks. Hopefully their recent firmware update will fix this problem. [ RONALD Mar 03, 2017 ]

The OPTIONS menu system in the Lifestyle 600 should have a bass level adjustment to help. I also see information stating you can adjust the bass level from within their SoundTouch app. HTH! My Bio: http://www.crutchfield.com/Support/Bio.aspx?bio=101 [ Paul Apr 02, 2018 ] Staff

Bose products rarely (if ever) include specifications for the frequency response. Additionally, the info we have on the Acoustimass 300 states that it was designed for use *specifically* with the Bose SoundTouch 300 soundbar; so I wouldn't count on future compatibility with third party A/V receivers. As far as I know yes. They're made for each other and sound awesome!!! Worth the money if you have 1600 buy the small surround speakers to go with it to complete he total system. We love ours hooked up to the oled. [ Kevin Dec 21, 2016 ]
Yes. I also have an Acoustimass module for a Soundtouch 120 and I was told by a Bose technician that the 120 Acoustimass will not work with the Soundtouch 300 soundbar using a Bluetooth connection. [ TRAVIS Dec 21, 2016 ]
