Overview

Our take on the Bose® QuietComfort® 35 wireless headphones II

For the past two years, the original Bose® QuietComfort® 35 has been our best-selling pair of headphones. And it's easy to see why. They're light, comfortable Bluetooth 'phones that feature Bose's world-famous Acoustic Noise Cancelling® technology. This new version keeps everything I loved about the original and adds Google Assistant voice control.

The Bose QuietComfort 35 wireless headphones

The Bose® QC® 35 II headphones feature a dedicated Google Assistant button on the left earcup, and music and call controls on the right earcup.

Sequel to an all-time classic

For the past two years, the original Bose® QuietComfort® 35 has been our best-selling pair of headphones. And it's easy to see why. They're light, comfortable Bluetooth 'phones that feature Bose's world-famous Acoustic Noise Cancelling® technology. This new version keeps everything I loved about the original and adds Google Assistant voice control.

A dedicated button pulls up Google Assistant from your smartphone, so you can control music, dictate texts, or ask questions. Just hit the button, and it is ready to go — no awkward delay. This even works with an iPhone® using the Google Assistant app.

Manually adjust your noise cancellation

The QuietComfort® 35 II's noise cancellation helps melt away travel noises like the drone of an airplane engine, allowing you to listen at a comfortable volume. If you spend a lot of time in the air, this can really help save a lot of stress on your ears.

But if you're in a quieter area, you can actually adjust the amount of noise cancellation to better match your surroundings. Download the free Bose® Connect app for Apple® or Android™ to choose the amount you need or want. Bose also lets you repurpose the Google Assistant button to toggle through levels of noise cancellation. I thought that was a cool touch — I'm a Google/Android™ guy, but I know it's not for everyone.

My hands-on impression

We have quite the atmosphere here at the Crutchfield offices: the faint thumping of speaker demos downstairs, co-worker debates on pop culture, spirited phone calls about the latest gear. It's all part of the charm of working at Crutchfield — but it's not always great when I'm on deadline. Whenever I flip on Bose's powerful noise cancellation, all those distractions wash away.

I had a very brief trial with this new version of the QC® 35 headphones, and I enjoyed the same first-class comfort and noise cancellation that I know and love from the original version.

The Google Assistant button worked seamlessly. What struck me most was that it kept track of my conversation. I didn't have to restart a new series of questions every time I hit the button. (That hasn't always been my experience when pressing and holding the "multi-function" button that brings up voice control on other headphones.)

Great-sounding, great-feeling travel accessory

You'll be pampered by the extra-plush earcups, which rest softly on your head. These headphones also fold at the earcups, so you can pack them into the included padded bag that zips up for easy transport.

Bose QuietComfort 35

Bose's top-flight noise cancellation can be manually adjusted

20 hours of wireless use with noise cancellation

The QC® 35 II headphones have a built-in rechargeable battery and include a charging cable. On a full charge, you can get up to 20 hours of wireless listening with noise cancellation on. A voice prompt tells you how much battery life you have left every time you power them on. It will also tell you when you're paired with your Bluetooth® device.

If you choose to plug in with the included audio cable, you can listen for up to 40 hours with noise cancellation. Even when the battery is fully drained, you can still listen to music without noise cancellation through the cable.

On-ear buttons and hands-free phone calls

There's rarely a reason to fish your phone out of your bag or pocket with these headphones. Want to change the song or adjust the volume? Use the buttons on the right earcup. And when someone calls, press the "Answer" button and talk hands free through the built-in mic.

If you prefer to use your device to control things, the Bose Connect app lets you connect the QC® 35 II to multiple Bluetooth-compatible devices simultaneously. If you're watching a video on your iPad®, you can seamlessly answer an incoming call from your smartphone, all wirelessly.

Doesn't get any better then this, amazing sound quality, comfortable to wear and very well built. Worth the money.

Pros: Very light, comfortable to wear, incredible sound quality, easy to setup and use.

Cons: None.

Best noise cancelling headphones hands down.

Jason from Dundee, OR on 7/2/2018

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Love these headphones. I've owned the QuietComfort earbuds for 5 years and love them but my one complaint is that after about 10 hours on a plane with the in-ear headphones my ears start to get sore from wearing them so I wanted an alternative that I could switch between. The QuietComfort 35 wireless headphone II are the perfect answer to that. The noise cancelling is excellent and the headphones are beyond comfortable. They are way lighter than I expected when I first picked them up but they stay in place well over my ears and on my head. The headphones create a good seal that even with noise cancelling turned off they block a lot of external sound. I don't use the google assistant but it is nice hearing the headphones tell you the noise cancelling level audibly when you press the button. I haven't used these on the plane yet, but the reduced noise cancelling level seems to work really well. On the earbud version I have, the low level nosie cancelling sounds awful and tinny, but on these over-the-ear headphones it works as advertised. Price point is really high on these headphones, but if you travel as often as I do, and can keep them safe in their case they should last a lifetime. As I mentioned above, I've had the in-ear version for 5 years now and the battery is still good, they still fit well in my ears, and none of the cables have worn or frayed. Bose makes the best noise-cancelling products hands down.

Pros: Comfortable, noise cancelling is excellent, easy set up, sound quality, very lightweight, comes with case, bluetooth and wired, pairs easily with multiple devices

Cons: Ears fit inside the headphones well but if they shift, your ears constantly bump into the edges. cost.

They're fine, but like most brand names, way over-priced for what one gets.

Pros: Very good for what they were designed for

Cons: They do not exude mental confidence of the product value.

Good quality product, high price

Clear sound and very performant noise canceling. Just for this price you would expect a usb charger is included.

Pros: Good quality Performant noise canceling Very light Very comfortable Long battery life

Cons: Higher price range

Best headphones I've ever purchased

Travis from Centralia, IL on 6/11/2018

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

While I am not a huge proponent of using headphones (would rather listen to music in wide open, full, room-filling sound), these headphones have proven themselves valuable in places where headphones can't be avoided. The sound quality is excellent and the noise-cancelling is so good that it can even drown out the loud sounds associated with operating loud equipment while using the headphones. They pair easily with all my Apple devices and are easy to use and the battery life is also quite impressive thus far.

Pros: Great Sound Excellent noise-cancelling Wireless/Bluetooth works great Comfortable over the ears and easily adjustable

Cons: No instruction manual but fairly user friendly without one

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Love these headphones. I purchased them to replace my Sony MDR-1000X wireless noise-cancelling headphones. I personally find the sound quality excellent for both. But I find the Bose to be much more comfortable and I much prefer the tactile buttons. I found the swipe controls on the Sony frustrating at times. Especially when I would accidentally touch the headphones and skip ahead to the next song or podcast. But the main reason for the change was that the headband began to show cracks that propagated until the headband eventually completely broke (I do happen to have a large head). Also, my experience with Crutchfield has been fantastic. Highly recommended.

The Sounds of Silence

Andy from San Pedro, CA on 3/23/2018

I need to state my position... I am not a fan of Bose. There, I said it. I am sure there are those out there who think I am a loser... I just don't like the SQ of the home theater systems. And I am not a fan of how they torture air to make sound. And their car audio is merely average at best. But their headphones... oh, they are something special. The QC35II's are insane. Just insane. Clear, quiet, comfy. Can't go wrong. Best noise cancellation in the biz.

Pros: Great sound, great noise filtering.

Cons: Price? Maybe?

Bose® QuietComfort® 35 wireless headphones II

Clyde from Aiea, HI on 3/22/2018

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I owned a QuietComfort 25 before until the ear cup cushion totally fell apart. So instead of replacing the ear cup, I decided to purchase the wireless version and I'm very happy I made the upgrade. I loaded the software on my iPhone and can listen to music from my phone or watch videos on my iPad and watch movie on the airplane by connecting the cord to the headphone.

Pros: confort, does a good job in cancelling out external noise.

Cons: expensive.

The sound quality and comfort of these headphones is great. I'm still learning about their use. For example I get Pandora music and on a recent flight I couldn't get Pandora music because I hadn't signed up for Wi-Fi on the plane. Still worked fine for music on my i-phone when in airplane mode. I really like the compact fold up capability to fit them in the nice case they come with. An excellent product and well worth the money. My son liked them so well he asked for a pair for his birthday next month.

Still the best in class when it comes to noise cancellation and with much improved audio quality. Bose seems to have focused on reducing the 'sound in a vacuum' of previous models. These have a much more open and natural sound. Excellent product.

douglas from Prescott Vly, AZ on 12/18/2017

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Overall works better than the two older bose headsets, one wireless but not noise cancelling, the other one noise cancelling but not wireless. The improvement is I now have 2 bose into 1. There is still problems with the software. There is also a clicking sound that cuts off the music at times.

Pros: 1. No need to use cord to iPhone. 2. Battery lasts 7 days with about 2 to 3 hours of use per day.

Cons: 1. Noise cancelling not so good inside Starbucks, as I can hear every word other people are saying !. 2. I have older pair which are more comfortable, this new pair is too tight around my head. 3. When I push pause button when I'm playing music app, it does not pause but instead it starts to play music from apple music. I have to then pick up iPhone to correct this.

The sound quality and noise cancelling ability is superb. I have another set and I've taken those on 14 hour flights a number of times now, they are a life saver. So when I decided to buy a pair of headset for my husband, I decided to shop around a bit and see if another brand would be better. After comparing a number of similar products, I settled on Bose. Pricing was competitive and shipping was prompt. Would definitely order from crutchfield again.

Philly from Broadalbin, NY on 12/13/2017

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Purchased the Bose QC 35 II to use when flying from New York to Hawaii in April 2018. Using regular headphones just don't cut it. Used them first in my Bobcat 3650 to snow blow. The Bobcat has an enclosed cab and is very loud. Tried using Beats headphones (not noise canceling). Forget about it. The Bose QC 35 II's worked great. The nice part is I would know of any phone calls/text messages. The sound quality is average. I bought these based on reviews that were high in comfort and noise canceling ability. I would give them 5 stars for comfort and noise cancellation. Because sound quality was average I rated them at 4 stars.

Pros: Noise Cancellation Comfort Google Cell phone use

Cons: Average Sound Quality

Tried and true Bose performance. Light and comfortable for extended use in the office or on a plane. A pretty full sound which makes music exciting and videos impactful. Superb noise cancellation. Solid battery life for everyday use or longer trips. Convenient carry case when I do need to bring them home or for travel. Overall, a great option for anyone's headphone arsenal which needs good sound and noise cancellation.

Pros: Noise Cancellation, Full Sound, Light Weight, Comfortable, App Support, Look & Feel.

Cons: None for me.

okay so i got these headphones as a gift. these headphones live up to the name. i love the depth the clairity. the highs are very distinct. the lows are perfect. i love using them on my ipad while watching a movie and its like having surround sound in your ears. the design is slick but they are a little bulky. i need a set of headphones for work so i still prefer the qc 30s alittle more. but for travel and just longing around these are perfect. my job requires me to listen to my surroundings and i gotta listen to everything that is going on. the qc35s are amazing non the less. the comfort is there and the sound is amazing your mind will be blow. i love the noise cancelation because if you want to block out unwanted noise you can do that just like the qc30s. but non the less these are worth buying great job bose

My first Bluetooth headphones are a hit!

Anonymous from Montgomery, AL on 11/30/2017

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

These QuietComfort headphones replace a much older and worn out pair. These are my first wireless Bluetooth headphones. They easily pair with my mobile devices. However, pairing with the Bluetooth feature on my Samsung TV takes several attempts. I suspect it's something I'm doing wrong and not the product. These headphones function beautifully with all the features. I love the fact that I can watch TV and even take phone calls in privacy and with improved audibility. They are worth every penny and I recommend them.

Pros: Once again Bose does not disappoint.

Cons: None

Great Headphones!

Chuck from Howe, Indiana on 11/24/2017

These are exceptional headphones in many ways. They sound extremely good for Bluetooth with a good balance of bass, mids and treble. They also have google assistant built in which I have never tried before. But now that I have used both GA and Siri, GA seems much faster. She's there instantly when I press the button instead of having to wait 3 to 5 seconds like I do for Siri. I think I'm going to like google assistant. Bose is known for comfort and these are seriously comfortable! I can wear them all day and never have any discomfort even with my big ears. I like the way these headphones have the deep ear cups, that act as a sound chamber. Some headphones I've tried aren't very loud. The QC 35 gen 2 are louder than the first generation but not quite as loud as *eats studio headphones. As usual the noise canceling is superior. Perfect for a noisy house like mine or in the car or a jet. Try these. You'll love them as much as I do.

Pros: Excellent sound. Excellent comfort, excellent noise cancelling and now comes with google assistant built in.

Cons: I wish the stock cable that came with them had a volume/start/stop button built in.

If there is a better choice, I have not found that choice!

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Not surprisingly, I love them. I say "not surprisingly" because I did endless research trying to decide on which bluetooth headphones I would buy. I have been a fan of Bose since auditioning a pair of Bose 901 speakers in an audio store in NYC a zillion years ago. Hence, I was not surprised that after reading reviews and finally auditioning various headphones, I ordered these. I was anxious to use these with my Apple series 3 watch, but I was a bit leery when I discovered quite a few people indicating that they had issues pairing the Bose headphones with their Apple watch. I took these beauties out of the box, put them in pairing mode, and they paired almost immediately to my Apple watch! I feature myself a bit of an audiophile in that I am now transitioning from a reference system that cost me upwards of 25 Kbucks! I love the sound of these! If over the ear headphones meets your needs, you will have difficulty finding a better choice than the Bose QC 35 II!

Pros: Great sound, great features, Google Assistant built in, superior noise cancellation, great case in which to carry them, incredibly comfortable

Cons: I have yet to find any!

Grant from Eagle Mtn, UT on 11/9/2017

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I decided to upgrade my noise cancelling headphones because my old set hurt my head just above my ears and my ears themselves (even being over ear style). These Bose exceeded my comfort expectations. They feel great on my head. The sound is surprisingly good and sound great without the noise cancelling enabled (as apposed to my previous pair). The price is high, but the value seems to be there. They do not come with an airline adapter, and the integrated microphone (for phone calls) doesn't function when plugged in to your phone.

Pros: Sounds great, with or without the noise cancelling function enables Very comfortable weight and feel on head Quality build

Cons: Expensive No included airline adapter No microphone when operating wired (unless you buy a separate cable)

Great sound and noise cancellation!

Nicole from Staten Island, NY on 10/31/2017

These headphones are amazing. I've been a fan of Bose since I was a teenager. I'm now in my 30s and they have only gotten better. These QuietComfort 35 headphones are super comfortable and can be worn for long periods of time. They are Bluetooth connected and wireless. They charge up fast and evyetime you turn them on they let you know how much power you have left which I really like and need. They connect easily to any device and there is an app you can download to control them as well. Inside each ear piece is a large R and L to let you know which is left and right. On the right you will f8nd the Bluetooth button, charger port, and 3 buttons used for volume up, volume down, and mode. On the left is a button you can use for google assistant and noise. You can basically control your phone with it too somewhat. You can answer and make calls, send and receive texts, and more. Other then all the other great functions these have a an amazing noise control at the touch of a button and have an amazing sound quality. I really love using these abs they make listening to music more enjoyable. They have a crisp sound and they come with a convenient zipper carrying case to keep them protected. They fold up small and can be taken with you anywhere. I woud recommend these to people who enjoy listening to music comfortably and like keeping the noise out.

Pros: Sound quality Noise cancellation Comfortable Convenient

Superior comfort, crystal clear sound

Cassandra from Buchanan, VA on 10/29/2017

At first I was a little concerned because these headphones seemed a bit flimsy with the ear pieces moving around as much as they do but it really does seem to help with the comfort level. The over the ear cushions are amazing and super comfortable. I do like the hidden R and L on the inside of the headset so you know which side goes where instead of having it on the outside part of the headset. Very lightweight and comfortable. Sound is great, this is my first pair of Bose headphones and I was expecting a bit more noise cancelling but over all they are not bad. I also really love that these are cordless and I dont have to worry about another cord getting tangled up in. Sound is crystal clear and high quality. A good bang for your buck, I just wish it was a bit more noise cancelling.

Pros: Lightweight Comfortable

Cons: Cost is a bit excessive!

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Best headphones I've owned and trust me, I've owned many over the past 50 years. They are extremely comfortable and allow me to wear them for extended periods while doing other things around the house. They are expensive, but as we know with Bose, you get what you pay for! I would (and will) recommend these to others.

Pros: Battery life, range and extreme comfort for extended periods.

Cons: None.

Great headphones

Blanca from CA on 10/25/2017

The Bose QuietComfort 35 II exceeded my expectations. I had previously owned the previous version and didn't think they could have more improvements since the last one were great. This new headphones are very comfortable to wear and the noise block is amazing. The sound quality is great, better than other brands I have used in the past. Living in a crazy house with children, the noise block allows me to escape in my music giving me that privacy to listen and enjoy the sounds quality of the music. The new improvements of the Google assistant is amazing. Having easy access to talk to it or having it provide me information without having to type is great. Also receiving phone calls or messages without reaching my phone is one of my favorite things this headset provides. The headset alone is very comfortable to wear and the battery lifetime is very long. It says it can go 12 hours wirh a full battery but i feel its goes several days without having to charge it. It also is capable do a quick charge of 15 minute ls to give a 2 hour extra of power. Compare to other brands, the Bose QuietComfort 35 II is definately my choice and would recommend to friends and family.

Pros: Google assistant noise block easy access to volume comfortable comes with carry case long battery life time

A. Holden-Leak from CA on 10/20/2017

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I really wasn't overly impressed by the sound quality...not that it was bad, it just sounds like it has extra noise that isn't in the music. But for travel, working out, mobile use, I would have kept these for sure. They are nicely shaped, have good controls, are very very comfortable, and light weight. So why the three star rating? Well, apparently Bose thinks that l have a tiny head and that they don't need to make their cans adjustable to such a small size. However, news release! my head is quite normal sized! For a female. So...women don't need these or want these? I'm just curious what kind of thought process these companies have during the design phase.

Pros: Comfort, lightweight

Cons: Size adjust does not get small enough to stay on my head

Quality is awesome

Kreed from Torrance, Ca on 10/19/2017

These headphones are like no others that ive ever had. Bose really knows how to step it up in quality. They are really comfortable and not to heavy. They cover the entire ear and the noise cancelling is like no other. We had a big fan blowing and when I clicked the button the noise completely stopped and the music was Crystal clear! I love that these came with a protective case and extra pockets for longer cords if needed. The headset adjusts to fit your ears and head perfectly. When the music plays that's all you hear, no unwanted noises in the background, just the beats and song that you're playing. I also love the fact that I can have a phone call come through and hear everything clear while keeping my hands free to do what I need around the house. These headphones also have Google assistant which is another plus! I totally recommend these to music lovers like myself! Absolutely fantastic.

Pros: Super comfortable, amazing sound, lightweight, comes in a case, noise cancelling, wireless, Google assistant

Bose® QuietComfort® 35 wireless headphones II

Anonymous from Bothell, WA on 10/17/2017

Just as I would expect from Bose......another great sounding product. The noise cancelling feature works really well at both the low & high settings. I haven't used the Google Play feature that much so far. Seems like a cool new feature.Worked extremely well when connected to my iPhone For making phone calls. Music is crisp & clear at all volume levels. The Bluetooth needs some work. I found that it will only connect to one device at a time. Once paired to a device it must be removed in order to be used on another device. Hopefully Bose will fix this bug in the near future.

Love these headphones

Sarah from Pittsburgh, PA on 10/16/2017

I got my Bose Quiet Comfort 35s about 3 weeks ago. I was so excited when the package came and they did not disappoint. I was previously using the Beats 3 which hurt my head and did not impress. The noise canceling on these puppies is AMAZING. Maybe even too effective, I don't hear my roommate speaking to me when I wear them. The ear pieces are large and cushy, super comfortable. One concern I have is the snugness of them. They slide off my head when I lay down, I do wish they were a tough tighter. I enjoy the voice activated features but hate using up space on my phone to have the app. The volume buttons are sleek but easy to find. The battery life seems to last forever. I have only charged once since receiving them. I am very pleased with my headphones and would recommend to anyone in the market for a new pair.

Pros: Noise Canceling Sleek Stylish Long lasting battery Great Sound

Cons: Too loose Need app to use all features

Best noice cancelling headphones!!

Abhishek from Carnegie, PA on 10/15/2017

I have been using these headphones for little over a week now and I must say that these are one of the best noice cancelling headphones. Like the fact that it has different levels of noice cancelling. If you dont want to get yelled at by your wife...I suggest using low level noice cancelling, because keeping it on high will completely block out the noice. Battery life is simple amazing. I probably had to charge is once since I got it. Another cool feature that this head phones has is the ability to talk to SIRI or Google assistant. I havent used it much but can see a use for it. I usually dont like having over the head headphones when I am working out at the gym but I must say this has a great fit and is very comfortable even for long periods. The only complain I have about this headphones is the design. When you are resting them on your shoulder to talk to someone, the ear cups dont fold to rest on your shoulder. Not sure if I got a faulty one because if I wear it the opposite way ie left ear on right and right ear on left, thats when the cups fold. Hopefully, the pictures I uploaded explain it better. Other than this....I just love this headphones and would highly recommend it.

Google Assistant integration takes these over the

Jordan T from Fayetteville, NC on 10/15/2017

OVERALL OPINION: These headphones are amazing! I might have been perfectly satisfied with the first version of the QC35s, but I luckily stumbled on the second generation which includes the Google Assistant integration. I initially thought it would be a small bonus, but I totally underestimated how powerful and convenient this could be. It's more than just a trigger for voice commands. It's a surprisingly flawless implementation that allows Google Assistant to turn you into much more productive multi-tasker. GOOGLE ASSISTANT VOICE COMMANDS: You start by connecting the headphones to your phone via the 'Bose Connect' app. Now, all you have to do is press and hold the button on the left side and speak your voice command. This is a lot easier and less tedious than having to precede every command with "OK Google", but this isn't even the best part of this integration. GOOGLE ASSISTANT NOTIFICATIONS: The best feature of the Google Assistant integration is the ability to receive voice notifications! Whenever you receive a notification on your phone, it is automatically spoken to you on your headphones. When text messages are received, not only can you have the message read to you with a single click of the left button, but you're also presented with an immediate opportunity to send a voice-to-text response by holding the left button while speaking. This allows you to multitask like no other. The Bose Connect app allows you to choose between temporarily pausing your audi

Pros: Great sound quality, noise cancellation levels, easy controls with button assignment, long lasting battery life

Cons: Sound could go higher

Awesome headphones!!!

Jeremiah from Hayward, CA on 10/13/2017

Love these headphones. The noise cancelling is beyond awesome. Love that you can change the different levels of noise cancelling. The controls are super simple, but if you forget (like i did) you can easily get on the app and figure it out. The battery lasts for a long time. The first time ever using them they came charged and didnt have to charge them for like a week after about 4-5 hours of listening daily. The sound quality is great. Only negative would be is to wish the volume could go highed than set for. But overall great product.

Pros: Sound Quality, noise cancellation options, easy controls, long battery life

Cons: Sound could go higher

Fantastic quality sound

Cindy from Winfield, WV on 10/13/2017

I got these headphones a month ago and mainly for use while training for marathons. I needed headphones that were of quality, lightweight, cordless and noise cancelling. These headphones have a battery life of around 20 hours. I only need to charge them once a week. They are impact resistant also. My favorite thing about these headphones is the ability to use google assistant making my training sessions so much easier. I can run for hours without constantly checking my phone for my texts and other business. You hear prompts over the headphones to keep you hands free, including caller ID and battery life info. The sound quality is amazing! All the accessories are included also making this easy to take and go on the run

Pros: Quality sound; durable; ease of use; comfort; lightweight

Cons: Price

The best if you need noise cancelling for the subway or flying

brad from Somerville, MA on 10/7/2017

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I have many headphones, and have come to the conclusion that there is no one set that is perfect for every use. I needed headphones to quiet the noise while I took the boston subway to work. I've tried several (in ear, over ear, Sony nc headphones), and for this purpose, the Bose are the best. They sound as good as noise cancelling BT headphones can, and do a better job with subway noise then the Sony's. They are also a bit smaller and more portable. They also do far better on phone calls than the Sony's, which people complained about not being able to hear me well on phone calls. You'll note that I qualfified BT and noise cancelling sound quality. If you are an "audiophile" you won't want either. They just don't sound as good as wired connections w/o noise reduction...of course, if you don't have noise reduction, you'd have to turn the volume up so high on the subway that you would soon be deaf, so life is a series of trade-offs. So, for commuting on a train/subway, and airplanes, I like bose best. For listening at home in a quiet environment, I tend to lisent to hifiman He400i headphones. When I'm looking for portable, excellent sound quality, and not noisey enviorments, it's audeze isine 10. And if I'm wandering around and expect moderat noise, I'd go with either focal Sphear's, or some other in hears, or some oppo pm3's over the ears, maybe with a dragonfly red ... OK, so I've been spending too much money collecting headphones

Pros: I've tried both, and Bose is still better than Sony at noise cancelling. They are also somewhat smaller, and easier to control

Cons: BT and NC will never have sound quality as good as other's at this price point, but if you need NC, you likely won't be able to use the others anyway.

Features

Overview: The Bose QuietComfort 35 wireless headphones II feature exclusive Bose technologies to shut out the world around you to make your music sound better. These lightweight, around-the-ear headphones have soft ear cushions for a comfortable fit. The QC35 series II headphones have the Google Assistant built in, giving you voice control over many functions. You can easily connect the headphones with Bluetooth and NFC pairing. When you can't go wireless, you can plug the headphones into your smartphone, tablet, or other audio device, using the supplied 4' cable. The QC35s come with a rigid zippered carrying case.

Bluetooth/NFC: The QuietComfort 35 II features Bluetooth wireless technology that lets you listen to your favorite music and make phone calls free from wires. You can pair the headphones to your NFC-enabled device by simply touching the device to the NFC touchpoint on the right ear cup.

Bose Connect: The Bose Connect app makes it easy to connect to your Bluetooth devices, and switch between them whenever you desire. It improves your wireless experience by helping you pair your headphones to multiple devices by a simple swipe. You can also get software updates, product tips, and personalized settings from the app. The free Bose Connect app is available for download from the Apple App store for devices running iOS 9.0 or later, and from Google Play for devices running Android 5.0 and up.

Google Assistant: The Google Assistant can help you with many tasks, including making phone calls, playing music, and managing your day, all while leaving your phone in your pocket or purse. Pressing and holding the Action button gives you access to the Google Assistant. Using your voice, you can instruct the Google Assistant to dial someone in your contact list, play an artist or song in your music library, or turn the music down or up. The Google Assistant can read your emails and texts to you, remind you of appointments, and can get you answers to questions through the Google search engine. The Google Assistant is available on eligible Android 5.0 devices or later (works on Lollipop, Marshmallow, and Nougat Android phones with Google Play Services). The Google Assistant app must be downloaded on iOS devices.

On-board Headphone Controls: The QC35 wireless headphones IIs feature a 3-button control panel on the bottom of the right ear cup. The outer buttons control volume up and volume down, while the center button has multiple functions. When listening to music, the multi-function button controls play/pause, skip forward/backward, and fast forward/rewind. The button also lets you answer, end, or reject a call. The controls work with both most iOS and Android devices.

Voice Prompts: Voice Prompts in the headphones guide you through the Bluetooth pairing process, powering on and off, and for battery status updates. The Voice Prompts can be heard in English, Spanish, French, German, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Italian, Portuguese, Swedish, and Dutch. Other languages may be available for download through the Bose Updater app.

Active Noise Cancelling: The Bose QuietComfort 35 wireless headphones II offer significant noise reduction to eliminate much of the outside noise, so you can concentrate on your music, movies, and videos. The soft ear cups acoustically seal out noise. Microphones located inside and outside of each ear cup continually measure, compare, and react to outside noise. The proprietary noise cancellation circuitry then sends an equal and opposite signal to the ear cup's speakers to cancel out the noise. The circuitry also goes the extra mile to eliminate the soft hiss that occurs with most electronics. You can use Active Noise Cancelling at any time; with or without Bluetooth, or even while you're not listening to music. Using the Action Button or the Google Assistant, you can set the level of Noise Cancelling that's just right for you.

Battery Powered: The headphones have a built-in Lithium-ion rechargeable battery, which powers both Bluetooth and Active Noise Cancellation. The battery charges in about 2 hours via the supplied Micro USB cable. A fully charged battery will power the headphones for up to 20 hours when connected wirelessly (Bluetooth and ANC), and up to 40 hours when connected with the headphone cable (ANC only). An LED battery indicator on the right ear cup shows the charging status. When the battery is depleted, you can still listen to music by plugging in the supplied 48" cable.

Note: The built-in battery is not user replaceable.

High Quality Materials: The Bose QC35 wireless headphones II are crafted with premium materials for lightweight comfort and durability. The ear cups are molded with glass-filled nylon instead of plastic for a lightweight feel and for strength. The stainless steel headband springs and pivots are built to last for years. The headband is wrapped with Alcantara, like you'll find in prestigious automobiles and luxury yachts. The ear cushions are made of synthetic protein leather with a silicone bead to passively block external noise.

Folding Ear Cups: The QC35s feature hinged ear cups that fold and rotate for compact storage in the supplied carrying case.

That TV has Bluetooth output so it can link up wirelessly to any Bluetooth headphones. The Bose headphones do have Bluetooth so yes it could link up to your TV. [ CJ  Feb 16, 2018 ]
Pretty sure it will. I have Samsung TVs connected to my headphones. These things are great! [ Dean  Feb 16, 2018 ]
You can use either Bluetooth or the included 3.5mm male-to-male stereo audio cable to connect it to your computer. If Skype for Business uses your computer & it's audio card, then I would think that the Bose QuietComfort 35 wireless headphones II would work for your purpose. If your computer does not have Bluetooth, you would have to use the 3.5mm male-to-male stereo audio cable. [ Lawrence  Feb 19, 2018 ]
