Our take on the Bose® QuietComfort® 35 (Series I) Acoustic Noise Cancelling® wireless headphones

Meet the first-ever Bose® noise-canceling headphones with Bluetooth® the QuietComfort® 35 wireless. I can tell you from first-hand experience, these headphones were worth the wait. They fit comfortably and feel very light. Music plays wirelessly from your phone or tablet via Bluetooth, so there's no dangling cord in your way while you listen. But you'll realize these headphones are special before you even push play. Flipping the power switch on the right earcup activates the Acoustic Noise Cancelling® technology, and practically eliminates outside distractions.

Best-in-class noise-cancellation goes wireless

The Bose® QuietComfort® 35 headphones

The Bose® QuietComfort® 35 headphones (shown in silver) play music wirelessly and offer powerful noise cancellation.

The noise cancellation works so well on these headphones, it's almost startling. They made things so quiet when I first turned them on, that I had to stop and get my bearings for a moment. To make sure I wasn't overreacting, I had my fellow writer Kramer Crane try them out. He uses the Bose® QuietComfort® 25 as his everyday headphones, and he said that the QC® 35 offered an improvement on the already stellar noise cancellation he's used to.

Solid Bluetooth® signal

When you're on the move, wireless headphones are super-handy. And the Bluetooth signal on the QC® 35 headphones is quite strong. I was a full hallway away from my phone and still heard music. And I had no drop outs while playing wirelessly from my pocket.

From our review of the Bose® QuietComfort® 35 wireless headphones

"Listening over Bluetooth, Sturgill Simpson's album A Sailor's Guide to Earth sounded appropriately laid-back, but never lazy. On tracks requiring more energy, the QC® 35 headphones were happy to oblige. Bass knocked with authority, while highs were crisp and clear."

— Jeff Miller, A/V writer

Great-sounding travel accessory

The QuietComfort® 35's noise cancellation helps melt away travel noises like the drone of an airplane engine, allowing you to listen at a comfortable volume. If you spend a lot of time in the air, this can really help save a lot of stress on your ears. Plus they'll be pampered by the extra-plush earcups, which rest softly on your head. These headphones also fold at the earcups, so you can pack them into the included padded bag that zips up for easy transport.

20 hours of wireless use with noise cancellation

Bose QuietComfort 35 headphones

The QC® 35 wireless headphones feature buttons on the right ear cup to control music and phone calls.

The QC® 35 headphones have a built-in rechargeable battery and include a charging cable. On a full charge, you can get up to 20 hours of wireless listening with noise cancellation on. A voice prompt tells you how much battery life you have left every time you power them on. It will also tell you when you're paired with your Bluetooth® device.

If you choose to plug in with the included audio cable, you can listen up to 40 hours with noise cancellation. Even when the battery is fully drained, you can still listen to music without noise cancellation through the cable.

On-ear buttons and hands-free phone calls

There's rarely a reason to fish your phone out of your bag or pocket with the QC® 35 headphones. Want to change the song or adjust the volume? Use the buttons on the right earcup. And when someone calls, press the "Answer" button and talk hands free through the built-in mic.

If you prefer to use your device to control things, you can download the free Bose® Connect app for Apple® or Android™. It lets you connect the QC® 35 to multiple Bluetooth-compatible devices simultaneously. If you're watching a video on your iPad®, you can seamlessly answer an incoming call from your smartphone, all wirelessly.

Extraordinary headphones!

Demetrius Hatcher from Lenexa, KS on 10/18/2017

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The headphones are overall great! The noise cancellation is superior to others that I have experience. Of course the sound is extraordinary with most songs vibrating the headphones even at a comfortable level. One thing I did learn is even though they sound extraordinary wirelessly they sound even better when connected with the cord that accompanies the headphones. That saves time on the battery. By the way the battery life on these headphones are incredible! I played darts and went to a Dart Tournament for 5 hours and it only got down to 90%. It also charges quickly and stays charged for a long time.

Pros: Comfortable fit. Fast charging. Extraordinary sound especially when using the cord to plug into your device.

Cons: Short charging cord. Can feel heavy.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Wow, great comfort , easy to connect, and the sound is awsome, the only complaints is that the recharging cord is way to short. I can't set it on the the top of my pc, set it on my desk, and if I plug it into a wall it hangs down just enough to get stepped on. Seriously, now I have to pay extra for accessorys. And it needs to be able to have a higher volume. Thanks gary

Pros: Great sound, function is good, connecting is good

Cons: Recharging cord is way to short... seriously, now I have to pay extra for this accessory? The big one is that that the volume is way to short in upper range!!! I want to not only hear it but also feel it. Bummer

I have always enjoyed the sound of Bose products. I bought my first Bose speakers 28 years ago. (201's) Although they have left the house I have them at work and they still play every single day. So I would expect the same from the QC 35. I used them for the first time on the plane with a crying infant next to me I popped them on and guess what I could not hear the crying anymore. Thanks for the peaceful flight Bose.

Pros: Feel good on the ears Blue tooth links up quickly Fold up into small case easily Sounds is great.

Kent from Las Vegas, NV on 8/16/2017

I have owned the QC3 for many years and started to wear out on me. When I went into a Bose store in town, they had the QC35, and fell so much in love with them that I walked out of the store with them on my ears! I've had these about two weeks after their debut release, and still love them. I have tried on some Audeze headphones, sounds good, but Bose QC35 got them beat! Beats got beat by a long shot with the QC35.

Pros: Everything you want on your ears

Cons: Wish these came out years earlier

They are very comfortable but do try to fall off while working in the garden. They allow me to use the tractor without turning up the volume. I wish they were a little stronger. I hope they last longer than a year.

Pros: Light weight. Sounds great when noise is around.

Cons: I'm not sure if they are strong enough.

One member in our household cannot stand the sound of snoring dogs. These headphones block out the snoring sounds entirely, allowing him to watch his television show undisturbed. As a bonus, some of the sound effects from the television that we never heard before are now audible when using the headphones.

Pros: great sound, very effective at blocking out external sounds

Very happy with this product. They truly are quiet and comfortable. Even without power on they cancel out a significant amount of noise. But their "white noise" setting takes it to the next level. And, as always, the sound quality of Bose is choice.,

The world can be a noisy place and these are wonderful to block that all out and relax to some music, podcast or a movie. Worth the price alone for international flights. Glad I bought them.

Pros: Noise Cancellation, Great Sound. Comfortable. Hooks up quickly to phone via bluetooth. no wires. Solid build quality. Wonderful for commuters and Air travel. Little pricey, but highly recommend.

Cons: Can get a little warm on a hot day around ears. At times, I might like a little more volume.

They work. The ambient noise from an airplane or practically any other source is effectively muted. The quality of the sound reproduction is excellent. They fit well and appear to be rugged . This is the third set I have bought, one for myself, one for my son and one for my grandson. We are very pleased with them

Pros: Well made Great sound reproduction Great background noise attenuation

Cons: The headset ear pieces get a little warm after extended wear.

Fantastic noice cancelling headphones, which allows me to drown out the extraneous noise at work. I'm no audiophile, but the sound quality, to me, was excellent. Bluetooth pairing was quite simple with the free app, which also provides the user's manual.

Pros: Bluetooth, noise-cancelling, and sound quality

Cons: the high price and the inability to replace the battery.

Excellent Headphone. I used sony for few year. i thought i should try bose as i heard good things about bose. its nice comfortable headphone. noise cancelling is good. However the sound signature is not good. not as high res audio as sony's headphone are. You can feel more mid tone focus on these headphone. overall decent headphone. if you are audiophile don't buy this.

Pros: lightweight, noise canceling , comfortable

Cons: average sound stage, can't charge and listen at same time, no equalizer setting in app

Amazing Noise Cancelling

Eduard from Bronx, NY on 5/2/2017

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I had three flights coming up with the longest being 6 hours and i decided to invest in a quality product since I travel quiet frequently. These Bose headphones blew me away. Their noise cancelling technology was unbelievable, i have never been this relaxed on a plane flying coach no less. Every time I took the headphones off for a moment to talk, I couldn't believe how loud it was on the plane, I almost felt guilty wearing them. The sound quality is excellent in my opinion also in part since you don't have to blast the volume on high because of the noise cancelling. Also, although the headphones are wireless and can connect to your device or computer, if you do need to plug them in (as is the case on the plane) they do come with a cord. The battery life on my first use was absolutely amazing (though I do recognize that with time it will get worse), i charged them up to 100% and used them on a 6 hour, 3 and a half, and a 2 and a half hour flight and i still have 60% eight days later. The battery is not removable so thats probably a negative for some people, and the noise cancelling option can not be toggled on/off, however, if you do run out of charge you can plug them in with the cord and still listen to your device albeit without the noise cancelling feature. I especially recommend these headphones for frequent fliers, you will absolutely love them, they are also very light and comfortable. Enjoy!

Pros: Amazing Noise-Cancelling, Light, Comfortable

Cons: Battery not removable, Noise Cancelling Option cannot be toggle on/off

To much emphasis on blue tooth. No mic to use with my phone. This is my second set of noise cancelling Bose head sets. Works rather well for noise cancelling. The documentation that came with the headset does not say what the flashing orange light means while charging. The downloadable pdf file does. The biggest detriment to this product is the inability to replace the battery! Expensive.

Carl from Kailua Kona, HI on 4/11/2017

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Bought these for our trip to Hawaii. From PA we had 2 six hour flights. The noise cancelling is impressive not to mention the wireless music streaming. Crying kids on the plane---no problem! Only one small issue; I had to jiggle the headphone jack quite a bit to use them for in flight movies. A poor connection.

Pros: Impressive noise cancelling. Best music quality ever.

Cons: Poor jack connection on headphones. Price.

I've had my Q 35's since October, 2016. I've had them on several flights and wear them around the house all the time. I've really enjoyed them and the sound is great. I'd buy another pair if I needed to. They do get a little uncomfortable after a few hours but I re-adjust them and they're fine again.

Pleasantly surprised

Kevin from Norman, OK on 4/4/2017

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Let me start by saying that I've been into various types of audio for the past 30 years from car audio to home theater to live music to studio monitoring, and I've never been a big fan of Bose products. However, I kept hearing about how good these headphones were and I was in the market for some active noice cancelling headphones, so I thought I'd give them a try. When I first got the box, I was surprised at how small it was. They fold up very nicely; small enough that they fit into some of my jacket pockets (without the case). They connected right up to my iPhone 6 without any issues. The noise cancellation feature works extremely well, and the sound quality is very good as well. I typically have trouble wearing headphones for any length of time due to sensitivity to the pressure around my ears. While these aren't the most comfortable headphones I've ever used, they are definitely near the top. Even with my first extended use, I was able to wear them for several hours without them bothering me. My only concern is durability. While the folding feature is really nice, it does make them seem a bit more fragile. Even so, the portability that the folding feature adds makes it worth the possible reduction in durability.

Pros: Comfortable Portable Light

Cons: Pricey (Possibly) Durability

Amazing Noise Canceling and Sound

Mark from San Marcos, CA on 3/26/2017

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

These headphones are awesome - Typical BOSE quality. Light weight, sound great, and the noise canceling is amazing! The only thing that bothered me at first, is that a computer voice would sometimes interrupt what I was listening to, to tell me my battery was getting low. Kind of annoying, but BOSE has an app that you can download to control various options like that. Problem solved. Also never had a problem paring up with my iPhone.

Pros: Lightweight, sound great, noise canceling, wireless, all in one package!

Cons: None so far.... Have had them for a month now.

Solid 3 Stars.....beware of skippingStill on the fence

Cpatton54 from Novi, MI on 3/22/2017

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I am no Audiophile, however, I have 2 other pair of Bose headphones, on-ear & over-the-ear. These are a replacement for the older pair of on-ears. The Bose QC35 headphones are almost everything that I expected with a couple of major flaws for me. My main reasons for purchasing the headphones were sound quality, noise cancellation, convenience, portability and let me be honest, the brand. So here is my review for each: 1. Noise cancellation is awesome. I tried these out on an indoor track run and could not hear any of the other activities happening in the gym. Very good indoors, but I'm not sure I would use them when the weather breaks for my outdoor runs. 2. Convenience is good as I was able to use both wireless and wired capabilities with no issues. The connection to 2-devices (Iphone 6s & 4G Ipod) at once was very seamless and I had no problems maintaining a signal. 3. Portability is great! The headphones fold very easily into the case, there's space to store a listening device and a few accessories. 4. Quality is where they lost big IMHO. There is an awful skipping that I experienced every 35-40 secs when listening to the device when wireless with my Ipod. Yes, it's an older device but for the $$, I expect awesome sound quality regardless. 5. Finally, Bose as a brand dropped the ball. Customer Service advised that I probably need to wire-up for my 4G Ipod regarding the skipping problem. Yet, the site shows this device is supported for QC35 wireless functio

Pros: Noise cancelling Portability Functionality Battery life Comfort

Cons: Sound quality... lots of skipping Bose Customer Service Device connectivity

Good for smaller head

Kathryn from WA on 3/21/2017

Overall, the best headphones I have ever used. Excellent noise cancelation. As a 5'2" woman with a smaller head, I have had trouble finding a headphone where the band fit even at its smallest setting. Of the few I tried that did fit, they hurt my ears with less than an hour of use. The Bose 35 is comfort for hours. It just fits my head. Good enough, though even a half inch shorter would be better, but good enough.

Pros: excellent noise cancelation head band fits adequately comfortable for hours battery lasts a long time

Cons: Headband could be slightly shorter

My wife and I bought these before flying out of country and wow is all I can say. With the noise canceling, I couldn't hear the whine of the plane at all. That matched with the sound quality, I'm super impressed. Pairing with my phone was very simple that took no time at all. Battery life if pretty amazing too. After eight hours of flying, not being used for a week and another eight hours of use, the headphones are still at 80%. The only thing I would change is to be able to adjust the EQ of them, to be able to add a little more bass.

I have constant migraine headaches. I purchased these headphones to wear when my son and wife play hockey. The ambient noise, pucks shot off the boards and glass, and the constant whistles in the ice arena, would kill my head. The noise reduction has made my life watching hockey pleasant again!... and music through the phones is excellent to boot! I LOVE THEM!

Very good product since, I am a Bose loyalist. Very comfortable on the head and sound appears to be great but, I honestly do not have anything to compare too. I am very happy with the item, even though it is very pricey for me.

Pros: Easy setup and understanding of buttons. Great Comfort and adjustment.

Cons: Early to say but, I have an older IPad and I cannot use the Bose Connect software for QuietComfort 35 Headphones. I called Crutchfield support and there was no resolution.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I love these headphones! Definitely worth the price. I'm coming from an 8 year old pair of the very popular and excellently reviewed Audio-technica ATH MX-50s. Obviously those aren't bluetooth or noise cancelling, but other comparisons can be made. The MX-50s may have slightly superior sound stage and louder bass. However, the Bose are very well balanced and do have excellent sound quality even for BT. I listen to bass-forward music including rap and EDM and I am very satisfied with the Bose. I appreciate how well balanced they are and while not as loud in the bass register, they do have outstanding low-end range. These headphones are so outstanding in every category that I find myself listening to music so much more than before. I was surprised by how much I appreciate the comfort. They are so light and the pads are so soft! The drivers are angled so that they don't touch your ears. I could wear them all day. They're also so easy to use with immediate pairing to my iphone and mac, intuitive controls on the earcup, great battery, and quick/easy to get in/out of the case. For noise cancelling, these are amazing at lower range and white-noise cancelling (airplanes, fans etc.). I was worried that this would make voices/crying babies more pronounced, but it actually does reduce (not eliminate) those sounds too. Once you turn music on, you're pretty much completely sound-isolated. This allows for lower volume even on noisy planes which increases comfort and listening endurance.

Pros: Comfort, Sound-isolation, Low-end frequency range, Ease of use

Cons: Maybe not best choice if you prefer "quantity over quality" (loud bass over well-balanced and low-end frequency range). Still outstanding for bass-forward music like rap and EDM.

Great product, no sweat connections

Sohrab from Fremont, ca on 3/6/2017

Outstanding sound quality, noise cancellation and customer service. Pairs and connects effortlessly between by iPhone and PC and is a charm. I was initially torn between these and the equally good or slightly better Bass Sony MDR 1000x , however, a prior bad experience with Sony's international customer service made the choice easy. Bose gave be excellent post sales service on a 4 year old product when Sony's paid internationally warranty failed me on a business trip.

Pros: No sweat connections Long battery life Superb sound Noise cancellation is top of the line Service excels

Cons: None, a cheap product would not be worth the price nor features

Peter from New York, NY on 2/21/2017

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The best compromise out there. Wireless noise-cancelling headphones need to meet four important standards: Sound quality Noise-cancelling Comfort Practicality Sound Quality - This is not, normally, a Bose strong suit. Bose products often lack that all-important clarity that really opens up music. The QC-35, while not quite as good audiophile headphones, is actually pretty impressive. If these were wired headphones, I would pass them by, but, given the other aspects of their use, a little compromise here is worth it. Noise-cancelling - Of all the NC headphones I've auditioned, these are the best. The NC is well-adapted to the real world. They are *exceptional* on airliners, *all* of the jet noise disappears. Comfort - This is another area where the QC-35 really shines. They really do have all-day comfort. The leather on the earpieces and headband is butter-soft and the cushioning is spot-on, not too stiff, but still firm enough to get a good seal against outside noise. Practicality - The QC-35s come with a very nice fitted case and the headphones fold flat, meaning that the case is of a manageable size. Battery life is very good. There is plenty of power for a long flight and they charge quickly. Ins short, they are easy to live with. The bottom line? Unless absolute musical fidelity is a requirement for you, you will be well-satisfied. I really hesitated before buying them, I have never been a fan of the "Bose Sound", b

I have a few sets if Headphones includingthe Sony's Professional version. The Bose QC 35 are definitely the best in class Thet were purchased for their noise cancelling ability on long flights, but I now also find I am using them in place of the Sony's even where noise canceling is not a concern. Bose invented active noise canceling and they get **** just for that. Fantastic for all kinds of music with extraordinary bass performance and are compact in their own hardcase.

Pros: Great sound good battery life light weight for hours of use

Cons: if you dont need wireless operation get the lower cost corded QC 25

Wow-that's really all that I need to say. First I purchased the Sennheiser's PXC 550 and I was really happy with them, but the noise canceling was not as good as I wanted. So I exchanged them for the Bose QC35's. It's like night and day don't get me wrong the PXC 550 are good but not great compared to the Bose. Not only was the noise canceling out of this world but the sound was eye opening. Last but not least they are called quiet comfort for a reason most of the time I can't even tell I have them on, they are that comfortable.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I never imagined spending this much money on headphones. I looked at these and the Sennheiser PXC 550. I read more reviews than anyone ever should to buy a pair of headphones. Or anything really. Here's the deal, and you can read this in all the reviews so I'll save you the time. The bass on the PXC 550 is just a little better, and I like bass. It makes the sound just a tad richer. The QC35 sounds amazing and had I never listened to the PXC 550 I'd never know the difference. The controls on the right ear cup of the PXC 500 are cool, I did change the song by accident when I turned my head, but only once. I don't know if they work with the cord plugged in and not using bluetooth. The QC35 right ear controls do not work when you use the cord instead of bluetooth. They both have amazing noise cancelling, QC35 just a tad better. Bottom line is this...the Bose QC35 are more comfortable. They are slightly heavier by specs, yet feel lighter on the head. The cups are bigger. That's it. That's what made my decision. The next day I flew out of town, and the QC35's are amazing. No regrets, great purchase, would recommend to anyone who asks. Oh, also the case on the Bose is smaller but still seems more sturdy and protective than the Sennheiser, so no worries tossing it in my carry on.

Pros: Comfort Noise Cancelling Overall Sound

Cons: Ear controls don't work when cord being

Noise cancelling is hands down best in the industry. My first pair was QuietComfort 15 (wired), loved them but needed wireless. Bose version was not available yet so I bought Beats Studio wireless... I love these headphones! They are awesome wearing all day at work, you can have a concert at work without disturbing anyone else. The battery life is very good. I listen to them for a few hours everyday and I only charge them once a week. The voice quality for talking on the phone when paired with a phone is very good. I have not tried talking through the computer yet. The only drawback that I have found about these headphones is that switching from my computer to my phone can be a real pain, that's only reason for four stars.

Cons: It can be a pain to swap from one wireless device to another.

Pretty Much What I Expected

Bill from Mount Airy, MD on 1/9/2017

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I've never owned or even tried noise cancelling headphones (I'm 61 yrs old) except for a couple of minutes in a Best Buy once. I was wowed in the store during my initial trial. Since receiving my own pair of QC35's I have used them as much as I have time for, including at my office which is a noisy telephone company central office with all the huge switches humming away and am able to hear my radio programs and music as if those machines weren't even there, although there is a slight clue it is noisy there. I have also used them while using my backpack leaf blower which is about as abusive to headphones as it gets and they made it a vastly superior experience than my usual ear buds. The battery life is acceptable as well. Wearing them during moderate activities takes special care, but if you enjoy your sounds as much as I do, you will try to make it work. They are kind of pricey but hey, you only live once.

Pros: Pretty much what I expected, great Crutchfield pricing and prompt delivery of a quality product. Previous tech support for other items has been superior and I expect nothing less if I were to need it for this product but I'm not expecting to need it.

Cons: None come to mind. If you are realistic, nothing is perfect and most things are subjective.

These are awesome. I commute into the city and my earbuds were OK, but there was still too much noise. The first day I used the Bluetooth to my I phone and turned on the noise canceling feature it was like I was in a concert hall, all I heard was music. I am looking forward to my next trip on a plane. These do allow voice announcement through, but at a reduced level which is a good feature. They did not let general conversation through. Used them with the cord to my IPod and the sound is great. The price is well worth the musical environment these headphones provide.

I have had these for a week so far, and absolutely love them. I wanted something with active noise cancelling to drown out the chatter around my desk at work, and they do a great job. With some relatively quiet music playing, I can barely tell there are even other people in the office. I was somewhat worried about getting over-the-ear headphones, as I'?3 never owned a pair I could wear more than an hour or two without making my ears sore. Not the case with these! The ear cups and head band are both incredibly soft and comfortable. I haven't really challenged the battery yet, so I can't say if it lives up to the 20 hour quotes life, but it seems to be reasonable from what I've seen. The only issue I've had was that when pairing with more than one device, it's difficult to swap between them. I ended up having to delete the headphones from my "known devices" list on my phone in order to get it to sync after my boyfriend had used them. Not too big a deal now that I know the work around, but frustrating initially.

On/off switch failure on first trip!!

Tom from Wexford, PA on 11/16/2016

I was very excited getting these as a gift from my wife in July. I used them a few times cutting grass and they worked amazingly. In October I went on a trip to Europe and again, the noise reduction was incredible. But unfortunately, on my next flight, the on/off switch broke and I had a pair of paperweights the rest of my international trips. Of course, Crutchfield/Bose replaced them upon my return home, but needless to say I was extremely disappointed that supposedly high quality headphones broke after less then 20 times sliding the switch on and off. I treated these headphones very gentle and carefully also. Now I am extremely nervous that my replacement headphones could fail again before I get to use them on another airplane travel and the 1 year warranty will be expired. There is NO way a switch should have failed before a 50,000 on/off cycles. I wonder, how many others have had failures after a year?..........

Pros: Great noise canceling, amazing!!

Cons: BAD design of on/off switch.

There simply isn't a better noise canceling solution that has good sound. I've tried different NC headphones, from Able Planet to Klipsch and they pale in comparison. They either are too noisy / staticky (Able Planet) or uncomfortable and poor at NC (Kilpsch). The main reason I tried these competitors first was cost, but I finally bit the bullet and realize you get what you pay for. Get product. Better than the QuietComfort 25 I've used in the past, especially with the option to use with a wired connection if battery goes dead. Very easy Bluetooth set up. Up to 8 devices can be associated with the headset with 2 of them being available for switching through a quick toggle of the power/pairing button. I got this as a gift for my near technophobe wife and she loves them!

Pros: Great sound quality and noise reduction. Comfortable. Bluetooth easy to set up and use.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Love this product. This headphone is able to produce clear and full sounds from my digital library. I do not use this for hi fidelity sources. If you give in to the incredible ease of digital music this product is fantastic. The battery lasts for a long time. The phone calling ability is clear. The bluetooth connects quickly without difficulties. It does not connect to the PS4 without an adapter (as far as I know). Love this product. Highly recommend it. Thank you Crutchfield!

Pros: Great sound Ease of use Clear phone usage

Cons: I cannot think of any - I asked my wife and she says they are big. The padding is very comfortable so I respectfully disagree with my wife.

Possibly the best thing Bose ever made!!!

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I bought these a day after obtaining the Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 Wireless Over ear headphones. In the end the Bose QC 35's won me over. The noise cancellation is so effective it's almost disorienting at first. The sound quality was a bit deceptive at first. However, this is easily corrected by adjusting your music player's equalizer. I've grown so fond of them that I returned the Sennheiser's. The QC35 is extremely comfortable, never gets in the way of my glasses, nullifies so much noise that I deal with in the Data Center and at home. The Bose QC 35's are quite good for taking phone calls, and anyone who frequently travels or works in a noisy office would appreciate them. I have yet to find a pair or wireless headphones that come close to topping this. I've tried the wireless and wired connections with my HTC 10 and a few USB DACs and found myself getting more work done while enjoying my music in peace. In short, the gap in sound quality between the QC 35 and similar products is subjective and borderline nitpicking. While the Sennheiser's were an engaging listen; the comfort left much to be desired as too much adjustment was needed for the ear cups to seal properly.

Pros: Comfort Noise Cancellation Bluetooth Connectivity is Rock Solid The Sound Quality is the same with a wired or wireless connection. Battery Life Button Placement Visual Aesthetics and Overall package. The Carrying Case

Cons: may require some assistance from an EQ to suit an individual's musical tastes.

Good at noise cancellation, audio quality needs some work

John L from Los Angeles, CA on 10/3/2016

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

What's good: the noise cancellation works as advertised, everything save the loudest of sounds was drowned nearly completely out. The headphones themselves are extremely comfortable and well built, I could wear them for hours longer than my ATH-50X headphones. The wireless feature was also great, I used the headphones wired and wireless, the sound was almost indistinguishable. The bad: to get descent sound quality and volume, I had to play the iPhone connected to the headphones at almost 90% to get the sound at a comfortable level (wired and wireless). For this reason, I returned the pair as they didn't meet my personal audio standards and couldn't justify the price tag for the everyday sound quality.

Pros: Sound cancellation, build quality, comfort

Cons: Volume needed to get good sound, very processed/tinny sound Vs my other monitoring headphones

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I always wondered how good Bose Noise cancelling headphones were but could never justify paying the price to find out. I finally broke down and bought these headphones after reading the great reviews. These headphones are amazing. The noise cancelling feature works extremely well. I am a frequent traveler so wearing these headphones on a plane is like going into your own private world. They almost completely cancel the sound. I recently used them on a propeller flight and I could hear the rotary hum of the engines but when I took the headphones off the engines were deafening loud. The headphones were doing their job. I also cut the lawn with the headphones on and the noise cancelling turns the lawnmower sound into a low put put. The sound quality of the headphones is also very good. The headphones are light and comfortable. I have a problem with all over the ear headphones in that my ears get very hot. They also get hot with these headphones but not as bad as other makes. The Bluetooth works extremely well which makes the headphones easy to use, no dangling cords. I highly recommend these headphones to the frequent traveler.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The moment you turn it on you'll experience something like never before... an eerie silence. Yes. This is noise cancellation at it's best. Pairing with blue tooth devices is quite a breeze. Doesn't hurt the ears even after hours of use. But when it comes to sound quality, it's only slightly above average considering the price you pay. If sound quality is highly important, look elsewhere.

Pros: Best noise cancellation

Cons: No so good sound quality for the price

Beautiful and Advanced Headphones

Dan J from Ellicott City, MD on 9/4/2016

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I have only used these for two weeks now. All I can say is wow! These headphones are very comfortable. My ears are sensitive and I usually have to take the headphones off every 30 minutes or so, but with the QC35 I can go on for a couple of hours easily. The sound level is great. I mainly use these for noise cancelling and listening to classical music. I don't think there is any headphone in the market that comes close. I use these during my commute and these phone cut noise so much, I slept through my stop one time. Pairing with my mobile device was quick and easy.

Pros: Reasonably light and very, I mean very comfortable around the ears.

Cons: Price. It made me think multiple times before buying.

Unbelievable noise canceling and a must-have for travelers

Brian from Elburn, IL on 9/3/2016

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I travel a lot for work, and have used a variety of noise canceling headphones in the past (knock offs, some name brands but never Bose). I also watch my tablet in bed every night, and got sick of the cord. So, I splurged on these headphones. After the dust settled from the fight my wife had with me over the price, this is one of the best purchases I've ever made. They pair instantly to any BT device. They pair to my tablet AND my phone, so I can take calls while watching a show and it just switches between the devices. The sound quality is excellent, though a little lacking in bass. I don't really use these for music, but when I do, I'm pleased by the sound production. The range is fantastic - they never cut out, unlike most other BT headphones I have. The included microphone is good, but it does pick up a lot of ambient noise. My wife said she could hear a lot of other conversations when I was talking to her in the airport. The noise cancellation is astounding. It's literally akin to rolling up your car windows while driving on the highway. Yes, you can still hear muted voices - this is impossible to avoid. But it drowns out almost all other sound, and it does it better than the 5 other NC devices I've used. I was seated next to a crying baby on my last flight, and barely heard a thing. The battery seemingly lasts forever, and it tells you how much battery is left every time you turn them on. The fold into a nice case, and are easy to travel with

Pros: Noise Cancellation is second to none Great sound quality Great range Pairs to multiple devices at once

Cons: Price

Great noise cancellation, bluetooth is hit & miss

Ian from Seattle, WA on 8/31/2016

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I'm not totally sold on bluetooth yet. The sound is pretty good, typical Bose middle-of-the road sound. Bluetooth disconnects randomly or audio drops for half a second multiple times over a few minutes, even when the source is right next to me. The noise cancellation is excellent as always.

Pros: Flat sound quality, no sweetening Noise cancellation is great

Cons: Bluetooth audio drops & disconnects too often for the price point

Great sound. Not that great setup. I got my QC 35 to replace my QC 25 as well as a Logitech H800 I use with my phone. I got it with firmware 1.0.5, just updated to 1.0.6, so maybe some of my connectivity issues are solved.

Pros: - Great sound - Great microphone - Love that it comes with an audio cable

Cons: - They could have added a charger - I use an iPhone charger in the box, which fits perfectly but this cost like a few bucks, I think they could have given it away. - I miss the business card holder of the QC 15

Ideal gift for fiance - should have purchased them for me too?

BrewersFan from Chana, Illinois on 8/30/2016

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I purchased these for my fiancé to use at home and when traveling. The sound quality is fantastic, just what you would expect from a Bose product. While the noise reduction process may technically remove sounds from what is being listened to, I cannot notice a difference in the quality. They are lightweight and barely noticeable. The noise reduction is so good that you only know it's active when you turn it off. The protective case is ample for the headphones and cables and is handy for travel. All together, a great set of headphones.

Pros: Sound quality, weight, noise reduction, overall comfort.

Cons: None

Brilliant sound!!!

Daryl S. from Spring Valley, NY on 8/30/2016

A great pair of headphones no doubt. I am a fan of Bose but they are rarely my "go to" cans when the sound requires some real dynamics. Since purchasing these I have been nothing but pleased however. Although I currently own 13 pairs of headphones these are currently my NEW favorites. Construction with Bose is typically mild mannered sadly and my hopes for any great longevity with these may be limited to a minimum of years but the sound is warm and gratifying and i have had them on for hours with no discomfort whatsoever. I dont really care about the noise reduction factor as I am a WIRED guy but I cant hear my landline phone ring when wearing so they must be adequate. Bose simply needs to up their game with better construction elements and they just could be near perfect. But the sound is the key here as they readily blend and purely emit such evenness that just feels really good. Bass is always the main issue it seems with all headphones and the appeal to our post pubescent crowd most certainly but Bose has created an adult listening experience that is just plain delicious from all angles of the spectrum. The midrange is just plain great and as I say the blend of sound is what makes these so great in my humble 53 year old ears. For the price they are best set out there. Id like to see Bose put out a 1000 dollar pair just for the heck of it and see what they come up with. Id buy them for sure.

Pros: THE SOUND.

Cons: THE CONSTRUCTION. Bose needs to apply some better materials to make these last more than a few years.

Great sound, really comfortable.

PD from Sacramento, CA on 8/28/2016

I could not choose between the Bose QuietComfort 35 and the Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 wireless so purchased them both to try longer. The sound quality of the Sennheiser was slightly better with brighter mids but was not relaxing to wear and listen too. Sennheiser headband left grooves in my head and earphones too tight. The Bose felt like a warm old friend every time I put them on. They are so comfortable. The sound is mellow and relaxing. Excellent bass without being overwhelming. Mids and highs great without being too bright. I returned the Sennheisers and love the Bose. II am 69 and take care of my elderly hard of hearing mother who loves the TV LOUD. I can wear the Bose to block the TV and enjoy my music, but still tell when she's speaking to me. I will also use them when travelling on Amtrak. I'm not an audiophile but appreciate quality sound and long term comfort is becoming more important as I mellow with age.

Pros: Sound Quality, good range, battery level, comfortable, light weight, replaceable earpads, customer support, nice carrying case, easy connectivity to iPhone & iPad.

Cons: Pricey, they never go on sale. More color choices.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The Bose Quite Comfort 35 noise canceling headphones lived up to expectations in Sound Quality, Comfort and Noise Reduction. It's a great item to have when traveling on an airplane, especially when there are crying children on board. I like the voice queues. It's better than fiddling around with controls to verify if you are connected to your phone or not. The leather covered hard case is nice for protection of your investment.

Pros: Light weight, Hard Case, voice verification. comfort, noise canceling quality

Cons: Having trouble answering calls from the head set on my Android device. The directions state that "all functions may not work on all devices" so I figured that was the cause. I've not tried the available smart phone app. Hoping that will solve the problem. The price was a little high compared to other products on the market but I paid the premium for the Bose quality reputation. I do not regret paying a little more.

Did research and ended up with Bose Quiet Comfort 35s based on reviews. Previously owned Sennheisers and very happy with them. Bose 35s are very comfortable. D quiet. I am disappointed in the Bluetooth quality and connection, which I was hoping to use to answer phone calls. I use my head phones on travel and in my office to better focus. Great headset. Very comfortable and crisp and clear sound without exaggerated base or treble. Beyond that, the call feature is great. So far no complaints from colleagues about sound quality on their end and being able to hear my own voice helps keep me from shouting on the call. A truly quality product. Love the wireless freedom.

Pros: Comfortable. Great sound quality. Wireless.

Cons: Slight pressure on the eardrums when only noise cancelling (not on phone or listenting to music) but I have a head cold so I suspect that exacerbates it. And that goes away when I'm on the phone or listening to audio.

Finally gave in and purchased these.

I didn't think the QC-35 could possibly live up to the hype I've been hearing but I was wrong. I travel often and needed to get a good pair of over ear headphones. I listened to some others and they were fine but I thought I might as well go wireless and be done with it. I was hesitant to pay the price of the QC's but after trying out the noise canceling and listening to the sound quality I am now a Bose Fan! These are fantastic for air travel!

Pros: No wires to get tangled with your glasses or blanket on the plane. Noise canceling. Great sound!

Cons: ....haven't found any cons yet. Okay, maybe the price?

Brilliant Bose Headphones!!

Reid F from Bethesda, MD on 7/24/2016

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

These Bose QC35 headphones represent the best that Bose can offer. This time, Bose decided to bring the best noise cancelling in the industry to quality wireless headphones. But just because they are wireless doesn't mean that they have lost sound quality. The mid and high ranges are very nice, being the focal point when listening to good classic rock, etc. If you are more into EDM/bass heavy music, these might not be for you, as the bass is not as punchy as some other headphones are. In terms of look and feel, I must say that they pass that test. The sturdy plastic design feels nice in the hand, and the headband doesn't feel cheap. The headband is made with quality metal, which means that it shouldn't snap or break easily. It keeps its shape nicely. In terms of comfort on the ears, the padding is really nice and soft. They fit perfectly around the ears, making long listening sessions comfortable. When you need noise cancellation, Bose is your best bet. You can basically hear nothing outside of you, except for the occasional talking of someone near you when no music is playing. But with most active noise cancelling headphones, you are bound to hear someone if they are talking close to you when not playing music. Another cool feature is when you are on a call with someone else, the headphones automatically use the noise cancelling microphones to allow some sound in so that you can hear yourself, preventing you from accidentally yelling. Overall, they are great headphone

Pros: Amazing comfort! Great battery life! Fantastic noise cancellation! Sound great! Airplane headphone jack adapter included. Nice carrying case for protection. Voice tells you battery percentage when turned on.

Cons: Noise cancellation is always on when used wirelessly, which might be an issue for some people. Provided audio cable doesn't have microphone built in for corded use. Provided audio cable also uses smaller jack on headphone end, meaning you can't use a standard cable.

Very Comfortable, Sound reduction good, but one glitch so far!

Michael from Alpharetta, GA on 7/22/2016

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The Bose QuietComfort 35's are very comfortable and very cool. I tried them for the first time on a 5 hour cross-country flight and they performed well. The noise reduction is not better than previous versions and I was able to hear the screaming child two rows away, though it was muffled. Also you can hear some conversations depending on how loud they are, for example when the pilot or flight attendant are on the speaker, you'll hear what they are saying. Your ears may get a little warm after extended use, but I would expect that. My only complaint so far is that the headphones "froze" in the on position, I wasn't able to turn them off and they wouldn't connect to any Bluetooth device. The only solution was to let the battery run all the way down, which I did, re-charged them and they seem OK. Still, I called Bose and they are supposed to be sending me a new pair, and I'll send these back. We'll see if they come through.

Pros: Cool and comfortable, love having no wires! Sound quality is what you expect from Bose.

Cons: Freezing up in the "on" position, noise reduction slightly disappointing but not bad.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I used them extensively on our recent vaction while flying and on a cruise ship. I was ordering them for my wife as i have an older pair of Bose QC15 wired. But i talked her into letting me use the new QC35's and i didnt give them back!. I used them to listen to my favorite downloaded music from my Iphone. Bluetooth pairing was a snap using the Bose App. I dont know if you actually need the app but it may be supporting auto-connection on power up or whenever the phone bluetooth is enabled. Battery life was much longer than my iphone's in Airplane mode so no problem there. Fit and finish and build quality are excellent. I wore them for as many as 3 hours at a time with no fatigue or irritation. Noise reduction is as good or better than the old QC15 wired units. I only knocked off 1 star for noise reduction because they are not perfect. If listening to music at low levels, i could still hear the aircraft noise a bit (as with my older units). But i suspect they are better than any other brand out there. There may be some improvement but it is not enough for me to tell with my ear calibration. At one point on the airplane I left my phone in the seat pocket and went about 25ft back to the restroom withn the QC35s on and never lost signal or got any distortion while in the restroom. With an iphone, bluetooth range through the seats and restroom walls was great. (but I was inside an aluminum tube, which may help propagate the signal). Sound quality is amazing as i expected.

Pros: Well......everything! And i ran out of room in the review but the new design fits in the supplied, more compact, case. There is room for a small 115V or 12V to USB adapter (not included) in the case.

Cons: They cost a lot. But Bose QC headphones are worth it. Some might say bulky, over the ear headphones are not cool these days, but I'm beyond the age to worry about cool. I choose function over form.

Finally, bluetooth AND ANR

Nick B. from Marion, KY on 7/15/2016

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Being a fan of all things wireless, I waited a long time for Bose to finally release headphones that were ANR and Bluetooth. The audio is crisp and clean like usually Bose quality, and the level of ANR is incredible. Of all my ANR products these are the strongest. I wear them quite a bit, even when mowing my yard. I have a very large, very loud riding mower and these dampen it out to a hum and I'm able to enjoy even classical music while spending hours on my yard. For pilots, these rival the noise reduction of many aviation ANR headsets. The built in mic is just as clear if not more clear than using the phone mic itself (iPhone) and between the controls on the ear and Siri commands I almost never have to touch my phone for calls or music. They are comfortable for headphones although I have a pointy nogin and think the top headband pad could be a bit softer.

Pros: Incredible level of noise reduction. Well built. Easy controls built into right earshell. Nice case.

Cons: Head pad could be a little more comfortable.

Bose Quite Comfort Headphones

Michael from Green Bay, WI on 7/11/2016

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I purchased these to wear when I mow lawn. My old head phones needed the sound level running near max to be able to hear the music over the engine noise. With the bose, I have the volume at 50% or less. The noise cancelling really does work. If you think they will total cancel the engine noise, you would be wrong. But they do reduce it enough that it allows listening at a much lower volume. I have only used the mic function once on a phone conversation, but it did work as stated. I think they are worth the money.

Pros: Light weight, easy operation, very comfortable

Cons: Price,

Wireless convenience and comfortable, but only OK sound

Jeff from New York, NY on 7/11/2016

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This is my first pair of over-the-ear headphones in quite some time. I had the first pair of noise-canceling (NC) Bose headphones way back when, but returned them because I found the pressure on my eardrums uncomfortable. I do remember being impressed by the sound, however. My current (before the QC35s) pair of headphones are Bose's NC earbuds (the 20is). I generally like them for comfort and pretty good sound quality. Incidentally, I listen to music and/or film/TV on my iPhone 6S Plus and iPad Pro. So keep in mind this is not the highest quality source material. So what do I think of the QC35s? I have had them for a week+ now and I'm happy to say no boomy feeling on my eardrums. I agree with reviewers that the noise cancelling is quite good and they are comfortable to wear. In the summertime, of course, they can be a bit hot, but until Bose adds in-ear air conditioning (Bose: you heard the idea here first!), I think we are stuck with that as a byproduct of the need for comfort and isolation. I will say the the benefit of wireless has been a pleasant surprise. I have a pair of cheap-o Bluetooth earbuds I wear sometimes when I run, but I had not realized how liberating it would be to be able to slip my phone into my pocket with absolutely no emcumbrances. So what's the downside? I just don't find the sound to be all that impressive. It generally feels like they lack richness and depth. Again, this may be my source material. But I hoped for

Pros: * Wireless convenience * Comfort (generally) * Noice cancellation ability * Quality construction

Cons: * Sound lacks depth and richness * Can get warm to wear * Conspicuious (much less subtle than ear-buds, which I recognize some will find as a pro)

When Bose looked to improve their current noise reduction line up, the hit a grand slam by improving then - multiple Bluetooth links at once and naturally wireless!

Pros: Link to phone and iPad and switch between effortlessly...including music and calls, audiobooks, etc!

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

just finished a trip to China with these. I also have the 25 and 20 version. I used the in ear version as it was compact and quite good. these are so much better... light, better noise cancellation, great battery life. I have had no issues with connection, in fact I can wear these and do 20 ft to restroom on a plane.

Pros: noise cancellation, battery life, sound quality, connectivity, build quality, case

Cons: may be a bit uncomfortable of you wear glasses.

Awesome

Ash from Qatar on 6/30/2016

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I waited a long time for W/less NC Headphones. These are Just awesome. Much easier to connect then what i saw and read on some of the reviews. I a surprised with how intuitive these are with switching between 2 devices and between wired and BT. Just glad i waited long for Bose to release them. Out of the box 70% battery after using for 2-3 hrs between my Mac and Galaxy S6 music and calls the battery is still showing 60%. The major thing i realised was how noisy my living room is with AC and other thing around. Also bought the new Bose SoundSport along with QC 35's for my wife. They sound just Amazing. Dint think they will be that good. I might even not tell my wife i bought them for her and just keep both for myself..... wink wink

Pros: Very comfortable . Love the Style like aviation headphone. Bose logo in black chrome is like stealth mode. I love the understated look. One of the reasons i bought them. All black looks better than the Denim look of QC 25.

Cons: Ears get a little warm after a couple of hours of use. Din't like smell of the leather used on the headphone or the case. Hope it will fade away in a few days.

I'm glad I waited for these!

Kenny from Beaumont, TX on 6/29/2016

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I use the Bose Quiet Comfort 35 in the office where there is the constant roar of the air conditioning system. Wireless is a must when you swivel as much as I do at work, so I've been using the Bose Soundlinks headphones. I love those so much I bought a set for home and another for my dad. My sounded great but there was still a faint deep hum coming through. These knock out that background noise and sound amazing. Battery life seems sufficient. I expect I'll need to charge them as often as my Soundlinks. I use a portable battery pack to charge them so I can lock them up when I leave. My friend had the QC 25 and these have a similar fit and sound. Very comfortable, but seem heavier than the Soundlinks. Good bass and crisp clear highs and mids.

Pros: Wireless, Built in battery, nothing sticks out of the side. Controls volume on the iPhone as opposed to separate phone and headphone volume like the Sony wireless headphones.

Cons: While these are not cheap, I still feel like they are a decent value. I also wish the middle button protruded a littl more from the side so my finger found get to it more easily. I would prefer separate skip forward, play and back buttons, but it works as intended.

This is a super pair of headphones, finally you can have excellent noise cancellation without wires. Bose products are great for their simplicity and ease of use and these headphones are no exception. The sound quality is great, but I'm sure the true audio geeks would have another opinion. Bose designs their products to be simple and effective, and that's what these headphones do.

Great Headphones

Stephen from Buffalo Grove, IL on 6/28/2016

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Best all around headphones I've used! Sound quality isn't quite as good as other $350 headphones out there but the noise cancellation more than makes up for it. I can't even hear someone talking with just the noise cancellation on and no music playing. I travel a lot so these are really going to come in handy.

Pros: Noise cancellation best out there

Cons: Battery not replacable

Fixes the only issue I didn't like about the QC25s

Jason from Hagerstown, MD on 6/27/2016

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I liked everything about the QC25s except that they were wired. I didn't think it was fair to complain about it because I knew they were wired when I bought them. But when the QC35s came out a few weeks later I had to give them a try. The verdict: the QC35s are the headphones I've been waiting for. I'm not an audiophile - I cannot speak to the sound quality. I thought the QC25s were really good and I think the QC35s are also really good. The noise canceling abilities are equally impressive between the two pairs of headphones - I don't have the ability to say that one is better than the other. I think Bose got it perfect with these headphones - pairing is easy. The Bose Connect app makes it easy to manage connectivity between multiple devices. The optional wire does allow me to use the headset in a plane or with a device that does not support a bluetooth connection. The fit is very comfortable and the battery life is very good. I can't say enough good things about these - highly recommended!

Pros: Wireless; great noise-canceling; good sound quality

Cons: Battery inside is not replaceable

You can't go wrong here

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I just received these today: purchased them to compare to Beats Solo set. There is no comparison. The Bose sound much better, are more comfortable and far superior in noise cancellation. As with most Bose, it is pricey but in this case I would say well worth it! Pairing these up with an iPad was easy. Just download the Bose app from the I store and it does the rest. Anxious for my next plane trip!

Pros: Sound , Comfort, Noise cancelling

Cons: Price, but well worth it!

1st Pair of ANC Stereo Headset

Carmine from New York, NY on 6/24/2016

Why an overall score of 4? Well apparently there is a "coolness factor" that is important in this review process that I am supposed to consider. Well there is nothing cool about any headset when you compare them to, for example, an LG necklace with retractable earbuds. I mean that's a cool headset, but I'm not "wearing" a headset/earplugs/necklace to look cool, I'm using them to listen to my music and make and take phone calls. So the QC 35 get a 4, but the QC 35 definitely gets a 5 on everything else as you can see.

Pros: ANC works very well - it's actually pretty cool - sit next to the AC with your head a foot away from it - then put on the QC 35 & silence For Bluetooth, the sound is amazing Phone calls are great The range of this headset is impressive They are very comfortable, far better than any earplug or over the ear

Cons: A little expensive, but you get what you pay for and this headset delivers

Great noise reduction but

Dennis from Philadelphia, PA on 6/17/2016

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I like to have noise cancelling headphones on while my kids watch the same Disney show for the umpteenth time, even if I am not listening to any music. I have a pair of Definitive Technology Symphony 1s which although I had Bluetooth connectivity issues with they did replace and my new pair have not had the same issue. The noise reduction on these Bose is far superior, I have a sound booth at work and placing these headphones on is like stepping into the sound booth. Turn them on and it gets even better so that I love! They are lighter than my Symphony 1s BUT I just wish Bose had made the ear cups even 1/4" larger. I guess that all helps to kill the noise but I am not sure that after a period of time they would get uncomfortable. The S1s have huge ear cups and I can leave them on forever not so sure about the Bose. I am going to give them the weekend to break them in but I think I might have to return them!

Pros: Noise reduction is AWESOME!

Cons: Ear cups are a little small

These are the best noise canceling headphones & has great audio.

Carol from Kermit, WV on 6/15/2016

These sound better & have better noise canceling than Bose QC25 & the Sennheiser Momentum 2.0. Also they have a larger soundstage, have more clarity, & are more balance than the Q25 & Momentum 2.0. I was very cautious and tentative when buying these because I'm not crazy about the way Bose QuietComfort 25 sound even though they had the best noise canceling. The QC25 has a very compressed sound with forward mids & a lack of rich detail that most high quality headphones have. But they improved & fixed those hangups with the QC35. Sennheiser always had a better sound to me but the noise canceling & the comfort was not there in the Momentum 2.0. I was torn between Bose & Sennheiser, but now the QC35 is an easy go to for me because of the fun clear sound with great treble, mids, & bass. I am blown away by these & to me they are the best nc headphones. I will update more about the bluetooth & add more detail later, but I just felt like I had to come here to leave a review because I can not believe how much I love these. Great job Bose for a great product that is well worth the price & purchase.

Pros: Sound Quality Comfortable Noise Reduction Price

Cons: none

Great product, Amazing sound

Roger C from KS on 6/15/2016

I have used the new QC-35 headphones for a couple of weeks now and I have been nothing but pleased. As a previous owner of the QC-25 headphones, I am finding the sound quality and noise reduction on par with the QC-25 wired headset, but with the freedom of movement that the Bluetooth QC-35 gives you, it is the clear choice. The pairing of devices is very simple, with voice given instructions. They also have great range. I am able to walk around my entire apartment without any loss of sound quality. This headphone also allows for 2 connected devices at the same time. This is great to connect to your music device and your phone at the same time. Controls are easy to use also. The noise reduction is the best I have ever used. The headphones use an internal battery that is charged via USB. Battery life is excellent, with the headphones verbally telling you how much percentage of battery charge is left when you turn it on. I have only had to recharge once in 2 weeks.

Pros: Sound quality Best in industry noise cancellation technology Very light and comfortable headphones Ease of controls and Bluetooth pairing Long battery charge life

Cons: Unknown battery life and ease of replacement.

Features

Overview: The Bose QuietComfort 35 wireless headphones feature exclusive Bose technologies to shut out the world around you to make your music sound better. These lightweight, around-the-ear headphones have soft ear cushions for a comfortable fit. You can easily connect the headphones with Bluetooth and NFC pairing. When you can't go wireless, you can plug the headphones into your smartphone, tablet, or other audio device, using the supplied 4' cable. The QC35s come with an attenuating airline adapter and a semi-hard carrying case.

Bluetooth/NFC: The QuietComfort 35 wireless headphones feature Bluetooth wireless technology that lets you listen to your favorite music and make phone calls free from wires. You can pair the headphones to your NFC-enabled device by simply touching the device to the NFC touchpoint on the right ear cup.

Note: When Bluetooth is enabled, you will not be able to turn off Noise Cancellation.

Bose Connect: The Bose Connect app makes it easy to connect to your Bluetooth devices, and switch between them whenever you desire. It improves your wireless experience by helping you pair your headphones to multiple devices by a simple swipe. You can also get software updates, product tips, and personalized settings from the app. The free Bose Connect app is available for download from the Apple App store for devices running iOS 8.0 or later, and from Google Play for devices running Android 4.3 and up.

On-board Headphone Controls: The QC35 wireless headphones feature a 3-button control panel on the bottom of the right ear cup. The outer buttons control volume up and volume down, while the center button has multiple functions. When listening to music, the multi-function button controls play/pause, skip forward/backward, fast forward/rewind, and voice control. The button also lets you answer, end, or reject a call. The controls work with both most iOS and Android devices.

Voice Prompts: Voice Prompts in the headphones guide you through the Bluetooth pairing process, powering on and off, and for battery status updates. The Voice Prompts can be heard in English, Spanish, French, German, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Italian, Portuguese, Swedish, and Dutch. Other languages may be available for download from the Bose QC35 website.

Active Noise Cancelling: The Bose QuietComfort 35 wireless headphones offer significant noise reduction to eliminate much of the outside noise, so you can concentrate on your music, movies, and videos. The soft ear cups acoustically seal out noise. Microphones located inside and outside of each ear cup continually measure, compare, and react to outside noise. The proprietary noise cancellation circuitry then sends and equal and opposite signal to the ear cup's speakers to cancel out the noise. The circuitry also goes the extra mile to eliminate the soft hiss that occurs with most electronics. You can use Active Noise Cancelling at any time; with or without Bluetooth, or even while you're not listening to music.

Battery Powered: The headphones have a built-in Lithium-ion rechargeable battery, which powers both Bluetooth and Active Noise Cancellation. The battery charges in about 2 hours 15 minutes via the supplied Micro USB cable. A fully charged battery will power the headphones for up to 20 hours when connected wirelessly (Bluetooth and ANC), and up to 40 hours when connected with the headphone cable (ANC only). An LED battery indicator on the right ear cup shows the charging status. When the battery is depleted, you can still listen to music by plugging in the supplied 48" cable.

Note: The built-in battery is not user replaceable.

High Quality Materials: The Bose QC35 wireless headphones are crafted with premium materials for lightweight comfort and durability. The ear cups are molded with glass-filled nylon instead of plastic for a lightweight feel and for strength. The stainless steel headband springs and pivots are built to last for years. The headband is wrapped with Alcantara, like you'll find in prestigious automobiles and luxury yachts. The ear cushions are made of synthetic protein leather with a silicone bead to passively block external noise.

Folding Ear Cups: The QC35s feature hinged ear cups that fold and rotate for compact storage in the supplied carrying case.

Works fine and sounds great. I have the earlier model, not wireless; this is even better. [ Edson W  Sep 13, 2017 ]
Replacing my Bose QC 25's. [ Michael  Aug 14, 2017 ]
Top tier quality, need productivity headphones, it's wireless for iPhone 7 [ Elliott  Aug 09, 2017 ]
I enjoy by Bose Soundlink wireless headphones, but was looking to step it up to have noise cancelling as well. These will be great for working in my open office. [ Brian  Aug 08, 2017 ]
I am ordering these Bose headphones essentially as a tool of my profession. I am a test engineer, which means that on a daily basis I am spending time in noisy rooms filled with equipment. This job title also means that I am frequently flying out to overseas manufacturers. I was getting by with some cheaper, wired noise cancelling headphones, but their construction and performance left much to be desired. [ Jimmy  Aug 07, 2017 ]
Looking for very effective noise cancelling for long airplane flights--that's actually more important to me than sound quality, as I will use them more for videos/movies than for music. Was torn between the Bose and the Sony MDR1000x but decided on the Bose due to the many reports of headband breakage on the Sonys (I saw many, many refurbished pairs up for sale elsewhere!), and also these are a bit lighter and more compact for traveling. [ Janet  Jul 27, 2017 ]
I want to upgrade my Bose QC15 to QC35 for wireless connection. [ HAIBO  Jul 24, 2017 ]
They were more comfortable than the Sony competition IMO; lighter, didn't squeeze too tightly, and depth of ear cups somewhat more. Sony seemed better on the noise reduction by a bit and the extra controls on the Sony seemed nice, but not enough to outweigh the comfort factor. If you don't wear them as you might otherwise, the other features don't matter. [ ERIK N  Jul 22, 2017 ]
sound quality [ Robert  Jul 12, 2017 ]
I was looking for noise cancelling headphones and owned wire Bose ones I use at my office. The QC35 has been great, love the feel, the noise reduction, taking calls, and compactness. Only problem I have with them is making sure my son does not take them when I am not looking. Was a great purchase. [ Todd  Jun 18, 2017 ]
Youtube influencer marketing [ orlando  Jun 17, 2017 ]
Research [ Aaron  Jun 14, 2017 ]
I have a pair and I purchased a pair for my son. They work so great, I am purchasing a pair for my grandson to use. [ TOM  Jun 10, 2017 ]
Father's day gift [ Kimberly  Jun 07, 2017 ]
Based on reviews [ EMMANUEL  Jun 05, 2017 ]
I chose Bose for their excellent achievement in noise cancellation. While sennheiser might have an edge on accustics I sometimes just use the noise cancelling for noisy environments. [ Lindy  Jun 03, 2017 ]
I am a big Bose fan....my sound system at home is the 7 speaker Bose surround system and my previous headphones were the quiet comfort noise cancelling, I think they were the model 25. Very close to my new ones but I wanted Bluetooth, which has proven to be the right decision. With the new workout equipment at the gym that allows you to hook up via Bluetooth, I don't have to worry about wires while walking/running on the treadmill or riding the stationary bike. Go Crutchfield, your the best. [ MARK  Jun 02, 2017 ]
brand name [ MALIK  May 27, 2017 ]
I own already one pair , bought for my wife second one. Great sound and noise cancellation. [ Christopher  May 27, 2017 ]
Retired and doing more airline travel. Wanted good noise cancelling headphones. [ Donald  May 09, 2017 ]
I liked the sound of my previous Quiet Comfort headphones and wanted to upgrade. Plus, light enough to wear at gym. [ DAN  May 06, 2017 ]
Was the best for me and my travels. [ David  May 04, 2017 ]
Reviews are quite positive. Long battery life. Bose designed to work wireless, but also can plug in via cable (and they include adapter for airlines). The headphones are reported to work on a wire should battery run down. Well thought out design. Looking forward to trying them. Also want to see how they work for friends/family that need hearing aids. [ Bob  May 01, 2017 ]
I wanted the most comfortable noise cancelling wireless headphones available. The Bose QC35 edged out Sony's MDR 1000X by a small comfort margin. [ Kent  Apr 24, 2017 ]
Several co workers have them and love them. [ H  Apr 09, 2017 ]
Tried the Sony 1000x and too tinny sounding...Bose has a more robust all around sound [ Dickie  Apr 04, 2017 ]
I chose these headphones due to review published in Mac|Life magazine. They are great and worth the premium price. Surrounding sounds of all sorts instantly disappears when I move the switch to the "on" position. The music sound is outstanding. [ Paul  Apr 01, 2017 ]
Most comfortable fit of the noise canceling headphones. Compared to the new Sony headphones. This one is much more comfortable and the noise canceling seemed superior. Sound is not any where as good as my NAD headphones but they won't block out noise like the Bose. [ Trent  Apr 01, 2017 ]
they do the job...the only bad think is that with computers are not that good conecting to this headphones...but the main purpose for me was to connect to my iPhone and the oled television in the living room...so it works for me.... [ JUAN  Mar 30, 2017 ]
Build, quality and wireless [ Evan  Mar 23, 2017 ]
The write up for these headphones was exactly what I was looking for - head phones that are great sounding, wireless and wired, noise cancelling, light weight and very comfortable. The write ups suggest that they can hook up to most devices and I hope it does. My husband always wanted a headset that can hook up to our Samsung and Asus devices. We will find out when it is delivered hopefully in a couple of days - I have always heard good things about Bose so we will see. [ Carlene  Mar 18, 2017 ]
Quality [ Mark  Mar 12, 2017 ]
Satisfaction with past Bose QC headphones, industry evaluations, Bose reputation for quality and performance. [ William  Mar 06, 2017 ]
I have the older wired ones. I'm going to disney with my family and my wife told me I need to get my son new headphones. We'll he's getting the wired one... [ michael  Mar 04, 2017 ]
I tried on the QC15 head phones at a local retailer and they were the best fitting over the ear headphones I've ever worn. I have the beats wired head phones and they fit well but after awhile my ears get wear fatigue. My ears must stick out a bit too much :-) I don't like the in ear headphones as they never actually stay "in ear". I have a couple of friends with these headphones and they are very pleased so now I'm going to give tem a try. [ Randy W.  Feb 28, 2017 ]
Highly recommended with top reviews and by Crutchfield advisors [ Stephen  Feb 24, 2017 ]
Always have had good service in the past. High quality and fast shipping [ pat  Feb 20, 2017 ]
Features and prior experience with similar headphones. [ Chris  Feb 17, 2017 ]
Researched quality of sound, noise cancellation, and comfort for extended wear. Ordered two sets to enable alternate recharging. [ Wayne V.  Feb 16, 2017 ]
Reputation of Bose, I have had previous Bose products and have loved them. The reviews online also helped with my decision. [ Bike for fun  Feb 15, 2017 ]
They were the best of the headphones I listened to. [ LEROY  Feb 14, 2017 ]

I have had the wired version before; loved it. Wanted the wireless. [ R  Oct 05, 2016 ]
Bose quality is well know. I've used a friend's QuietComfort 25 and impressed with its comfort and noise canceling compared to my over the ear noise canceling headphones from another company. I wanted a headphone that could be used both wired for my non-bluetooth stereo and as a bluetooth headset for use with my computer and tablet. Crutchfield's price was as good as anywhere else I found plus I'll get the Rewards points which I plan to apply to my order of a media sounds system. [ Craig  Oct 03, 2016 ]
i liked the looks and reputation of the Bose QC 35 immediately. I finally heard them at Best Buy and was sold, after a short listening session I found them to be much more natural sounding than many of the bass heavy models in this price range. Just what I was looking for. Hopefully I'll feel the same in 6 months. Bought em from Crutchfield because I think Cruthfield is great [ Duane N.  Sep 30, 2016 ]

I was waiting for a long time for a wireless noise cancelation headphone, QC 25 were wired. The alternate option was "JBL Everest Elite 700" however found them to be large and dint like the Design so much. If Bose would not have released these I would have bought JBLs eventualy. They were priced much better and had more play back options. I like the QC35 design, much flater profile on the ear cups than JBLs. JBLs were just too wide. Beast were never an option for me poor audio quality. [ Ashish  Jun 20, 2016 ]
I have numerous Bose products. I have been satisfied with all of them. The sound quality and simple use makes this an easy decision. Their products cost more but like my dad always said " you get what you pay for" spend the extra money and enjoy what you bought. I have never been disappointed by Bose. [ Henry J.  Jun 19, 2016 ]

Travel [ D  May 17, 2017 ]
These are the best headphones I've ever purchased. They fit over the ears very nicely and are soft and light to wear. They are good to wear even without any music or audio and not having the cord makes that even better. I also like that it does allow you to use a cord that detaches to connect to devices. The battery lasts a long time and is rechargeable. I find it lasts longer than the previous Bose model which used 1 AAA battery. [ Brent  May 14, 2017 ]
CNET top recommended. My Definitive Tech crapped out on BT connection. tossed. [ B  Apr 25, 2017 ]
I've had nothing but good experiences with Bose products. I know there are those out there who just despise anything with the Bose name on it. I am not one of them. I've owned 3 different Bose headphones and have loved each of them. In addition I have Bose speakers in my home theater and a Bose Soundlink for my iPad that I use everyday. [ JOHN E  Apr 21, 2017 ]

I've been thinking about Noise Cancellng headphones for some time. Purchased Sennheiser 250 "NC" phones several years ago, which really didn't do much. Based on the review on the internet and I tried at the Bose store. I decided to purchase this Bose QC35 headphone. [ Gregory  Dec 28, 2016 ]
I was really hesitant about ordering these headphones. In general, I'm not a Bose fan. I've been disappointed in the Bose systems in the cars I've owned and I really don't like their speakers. After auditioning various wireless NC headphones (Sennheiser, B&O, B&W), none sound as good as my wired go-to headphone the AKG K240. But the QC35 was so superior in its noise cancelling and comfort to the others that I felt it made up for the slight difference in sound quality. [ Peter  Dec 28, 2016 ]

I have had a Quiet Comfort 2 for many years and have been very happy with it, using it when I want to practice on my electronic piano or read the paper while my wife watches TV. Recently I inadvertently broke one of the earphones off the headband. Since I had been having problems with the black foam ear-cups deteriorating, I decided it was time to upgrade to the Quite Comfort 35. [ Ron  Oct 13, 2016 ]

this item had everything I wanted. [ richard  Sep 04, 2016 ]
Great reviews, narrows the difference between wired and wireless Headphones, looks to be best of breed. I hope that the microphone for speaking (as opposed to listening only features) is good and may be incorporates noise cancellation as well. Not sure about the Square Trade purchase, disappointed that it does not cover theft even though it is the most expensive on the market. Will review the terms some more before I decide on the Square Trade. [ R  Aug 24, 2016 ]

14 questions already asked

I will say yes. a thump is heavy on the base, so you could feel the vibrations i guess, but for most sound these should work fine. Battery life is a plus too. i [ JAMES M  Oct 01, 2017 ]
I use these to quite the phone calls and talking all around my desk. I'm sure they will handle the thumping ogre feet from above. :) [ EVANS  Sep 30, 2017 ]
Absolutely! I wear mine on the plane. Sometimes I'm not even listening to anything but quiet. [ John  Sep 30, 2017 ]
No, they definitely do not block conversation, nor would I prefer they do. It's essential to hear flight crew announcements, etc. [ KEITH L  Jun 07, 2017 ]
It will not completely block conversation. That said, neither would earplugs. It will remove almost all noise except direct conversation. I would recommend she try them out and return if unhappy. I doubt you end up shipping them back. Cheers [ JAMES M  Jun 07, 2017 ]
I have these for a year now. Perfect for In-flight use. Cuts out hum and other undesirable frequencies like magic. I use them daily at home. [ Ashish  Jun 07, 2017 ]
These do not block spoken words very well. Mainly for plane noise. [ Timothy  Jun 07, 2017 ]
It's mainly humming and some talk not all... but it differently a ton better then most noise cancelling headphones headphones around. I would have her try them out first, I'm sure she won't regret it. I bought this for me and now my wife got herself a pair. Good luck with your hurt for good headphones. [ EVANS  Jun 07, 2017 ]
I would say, about 25-30 ft [ Steve  Apr 24, 2017 ]
My experience with several Bluetooth devices is up to about 30 feet max. [ KEITH L  Apr 24, 2017 ]
official its 10 mts/30 ft. but depends on source strength. Mine works good in line of sight but the moment i go behind a door or a wall the crackling starts and signal drops in 7-8 mtrs. Also, the BT antenna seems to be in the Right ear cup, if you turn aways from the source the signal drops. Note: My test has been with Samsung S6, Macbook pro indoor and outdoors. [ Ashish  Apr 24, 2017 ]
Bluetooth range in general is 30' but depends a lot on environmental factors and how efficient the device you are trying to is. [ Dennis  Apr 24, 2017 ]
I don't have a precise answer but I certainly find the connection to be reliable within 10 or more feet. [ JEFFREY  Apr 24, 2017 ]
I connect all my Apple products via Bluetooth--phone, ipad, computer. It's easy to disconnect one and add another. Fabulous sound. And they are also great at reducing noise [ CRISTY  Mar 09, 2017 ]

Yes, it's compatible with all Bluetooth certified devices. Works with all my Apple & Samsung products. [ KEITH L  Mar 09, 2017 ]
I downloaded the Bose Connect App for my iPhone. From the Bose Connect App you now have the option to update to firmware 1.3.2 which lets you control the level of noise cancelation to either high, low, or off in the wireless mode. [ Frank  Jul 30, 2017 ]
You can switch it off. [ John  Jan 20, 2017 ]
I'm not aware of such a feature in the QC35. The QC35 noise cancellation is enabled at power on. I see no way to disable noise cancellation from the headphone or iOS app. The QC20 has an "aware mode" button which introduces sound from the room into the headset so that you can hear sound around you - such as a public announcement or to speak with someone. The QC35 does not have an "aware mode" feature from what I can determine. [ Dennis  Jan 18, 2017 ]
It's always on. Theses are fantastic headphones [ laurie  Jan 18, 2017 ]
It can be switched off. There is a switch on the right ear shell that you use to turn the ANR off and on. This switch also turns on the Bluetooth connectivity. [ Nicholas  Jan 18, 2017 ]
If you are using the headphones through bluetooth then Noise cancellation is alway on. With wired connection you can choose either to listen direct without any processing like passive headphone or can switch on the NC and there by sound processing. The bass is much better with power on. [ Ashish  Jan 18, 2017 ]
It can be switched off. The headphones can be used with or without noise canceling while using the included 3.5mm cord, but noise cancelling has to be on while using with Bluetooth. [ KENNETH COONS  Jan 18, 2017 ]
If you are connected via Bluetooth, the noise cancellation is always on. If you are plugged into the cable, you can turn the headphones off and still listen to music. This will turn off the noise cancellation. However, it also turns off the active EQ circuit which will affect sound quality. [ John  Jan 18, 2017 ]
It's always on, however since it's wireless it has to be charged. If the battery dies, you can still use the headphones but you'd have to connect an audio cable to the audio source, only then would the noise canceling be disabled [ Steve  Jan 18, 2017 ]
Yah, you can shut it off if you don't want the NC. [ EVANS  Jan 18, 2017 ]
While using Bluetooth, it cannot be switched off. While wired, I believe you can use it without noise cancellation. [ JEFFREY  Jan 18, 2017 ]
I'm a customer, not a Crutchfield employee, so your question is addressed to the wrong person. However, I will be glad to share this information with you. I have purchased from Crutchfield for two years, and have been totally satisfied. I have never found any of their information to be false or misleading; the products I have purchased have been "as described". BUT, I did buy one product that I later decided I simply did not want. Crutchfield let me return it with full refund and no questions asked. BTW, these headphones are fantastic. Sound is wonderful and noise cancellation is excellent. They are expensive, but don't compare them to headphones without noise reduction---that's apples and oranges. [ Wesley  Dec 16, 2016 ]
I can speak first hand on the quality of the headset. The QC35 headset works well for me when connecting to an iPhone, iPad or MacBook Pro. My primary need was for noise cancellation in an office cubicle environment and it serves that need well. I also use the same headset at home. I have noticed more wireless interference at the office than at home. There can be an occasional static or popping sound but it's nothing frequent. I can't comment with any first hand experience with a 60 day return although that is an incentive for purchasing from Crutchfield. I take that 60 day policy into consideration when comparing with other retailers policy and pricing. [ Dennis  Dec 16, 2016 ]
Yes any Bluetooth enabled device [ laurie  Sep 02, 2016 ]
Mine works great with Bluetooth, so if your device has that capability, you're good to go. [ KEITH L  Sep 02, 2016 ]
My cursor skipped around when I was answering so I typed some words in the wrong places. I am adding this to clarify some of my accidental wording above - If your portable device does not have bluetooth - then you may be able to use the "backup audio cable that comes with the QC-35 assuming your device has the appropriate matching headset connector. I am very happy with the QC-35 noise cancellation feature. The over the ear headset is much more comfortable than ear buds but any headset can bring on some fatigue for the wearer. So your experience may be different. Any wireless device by nature can have issues with the wireless connection depending upon your location and distance from the device. I've been in crowded areas where interference may have cause the signal to drop. But this doesn't happen in my office where I use it the most. [ Dennis  Sep 02, 2016 ]
Juan - The Bose QC-35 is capable of a wireless Stereo Bluetooth connection to most devices that include a compatible bluetooth feature. I am using the QC-35 to connect to my Mac, iPad, and iPhone. You can connect to two devices simultaneously via a bluetooth connection. Bose offers an app that assists with switching connections. It works well on the iphone. If the portable device does not have the bluetooth feature you may be able to connect it via the "back up audio cable" that comes with the QC-35 assuming the device has the proper headset . The Bose website has the complete manual in PDF format - that you may download and review before purchasing the headset connector. I highly recommend you contact Crutchfield sales for assistance if you are unsure. [ Dennis  Sep 02, 2016 ]
I use it with my iPhone iPad and mac air. I haven't tried it with other portable devices. Works great on everything I use it for. [ Thomas  Sep 02, 2016 ]
I would assume yes. I have mine synched to my iPhone and iPad. As long as Bluetooth is searchable, it should connect. As a plus, it saves all devices that it has connected in the past for future use. [ Steve  Sep 02, 2016 ]
Sure. Any device that has Bluetooth. [ Wesley  Sep 02, 2016 ]
Bluetooth devices I had a touch I was not using Loaded with favorite albums/ songs Round trip Flight to Cancum. Heavenly Will use next week to China No babies crying. No jet noise. Perfect [ STEVEN  Sep 02, 2016 ]
If by wireless you mean Bluetooth then yes it will connect. [ Ashish  Sep 02, 2016 ]
Bose does not publish frequency response specifications on any of their products. The QC35 work very well though and provide excellent performance, active noise cancelation & the wireless Bluetooth capability as well. While Bluetooth does degrade sound quality, the headphones also come with a cable so you can make the physical connection for the best performance. I hope that helps. Yes, via Yamaha's MusicCast feature built-in to your RX-A1050 receiver, you can stream the audio output wirelessly to a Bluetooth speaker or headphones (regardless of manufacture). So the Bose QC35's here would be a good option for that. I hope that helps! My Bio: http://www.crutchfield.com/Support/Bio.aspx?bio=159 [ Larry  Jun 17, 2016 ]  Staff
The headphones are brand new (just released) so we do not have a replacement battery or procedure available for the QC35 just yet. The one that comes with the headphones should last a long while so, this shouldn't be a concern for awhile. You can contact Bose directly for more information about the battery and replacement options if need be: 800-999-2673 I hope that helps. It charges with a micro USB cable. [ W RANDOLPH  Jul 06, 2017 ]
You just need a USB charging port and the included cable. By the way, the headphones will last quite a while on a charge. [ RANDY  Jul 06, 2017 ]
Just use the supplied cord (USB) and any charger that accepts USB (for example an Apple block-small or large). [ Daniel  Jul 05, 2017 ]
I have no idea what you are talking about [ STEVEN  Jun 18, 2017 ]
That should read I experience no latency... not certain what happened with the answer... [ thomas  Jun 17, 2017 ]
I experienced exert latency using these headphones, it would be especially noticeable on the phone but is non existent... [ thomas  Jun 17, 2017 ]

I don't think tv's will broadcast to headphones. These are awesome sounding though. I love mine! [ brian  Aug 10, 2016 ]
If your TV has Bluetooth, yes, you can - anything that's pairable will work with these. [ Ronald  Aug 09, 2016 ]
I do not know. I too have a Samsung but you would have to use the cable to the Headphone jack on the TV. [ STEVEN  Aug 09, 2016 ]
If the tv has Bluetooth sound output then yes. [ thomas  Aug 09, 2016 ]

We only have the preliminary information available for these new QC 35 wireless models and I'm afraid that doesn't include info on the built-in mic location. However, I found this blurb on Bose's website regarding the mic: "The QuietComfort 35 headphones have a dual-microphone system to allow you to use them during calls when connected to a smartphone that supports the Bluetooth HFP profile. In addition to traditional calls, the headphones will work with many apps that use Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), such as Skype or FaceTime. The dual-mic system helps reject wind and background noise to ensure an exceptional far-end experience, while sidetone lets you hear your own voice so you sound natural when speaking on a call." I hope that helps. My Bio: http://www.crutchfield.com/Support/Bio.aspx?bio=159 [ Larry  Jun 15, 2016 ]  Staff
