The YIT-W12 consists of a wireless transmitter with an Apple 30-pin connector, and a 15" USB cable terminated by a USB type-A connector on one end and a micro-USB connector on the other end. The YIT-W12 wireless transmitter employs Yamaha's yAired technology to establish a wireless connection with select Yamaha components, including the YAS-201, YSP-3300, and YSP-4300 soundbars (all sold separately) for the transmission of audio from your Apple device or PC/Mac. The YIT-W12 supports uncompressed wireless audio transmission (linear PCM), delivering clear and accurate sound.
yAired Technology: yAired is a proprietary Yamaha wireless technology that uses lossless (uncompressed) signal transmission to achieve wireless sound quality that is as good as wired quality and the perfect synchronization between sounds and images for movies.
