Very Functional!

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Bought as an update for the Bluetooth option, installed in a 1968 Toyota FJ40, custom utility box/center console. It was an easy swap w/wires from a previous Pioneer stereo w/CD player and provided documentation. Have wired and rewired it multiple times during customization of utility box and still functions. Bluetooth unit picks up cell phone and Raspberry Pi 3 quickly and stays connected. The main unit picks up local radio stations and seems to drive speakers well in the large, loud space of the truck. So, no complaints other than having to buy the Bluetooth unit separately, the unit seems robust and reliable.

Pros: Inexpensive, on sale 2X Aux inputs and one USB input Easy Swap, good documentation

Cons: Bluetooth takes up one of the Aux inputs Having to buy Bluetooth unit

Doubtful. It's a pretty basic unit. [ franke  Dec 28, 2016 ]
You can get an rca to headphone jack cable and input your music that way. The USB is only for the use of a thumb drive full of music. When using the thumb drive the head units acts like a normal cd player would. You can go forward or backwards on your play list. [ Brigham  Dec 27, 2016 ]
The cutout to fit this radio is: 5 5/8" wide 3 5/8" high [ MIKE  Jul 10, 2016 ]
Check product info the measurements are accurate [ chad  Jul 09, 2016 ]
There is no connection for a wired remote. [ jim  Apr 16, 2016 ]
Only has provision for two separate wired auxiliary inputs and a blue tooth adaptor purchased separately. [ Michael  Apr 11, 2016 ]
It would depend on your application. Normal boat speakers work great. 5 to 45 watt speakers will sound good. Find a good quality 2 way speaker set. You can run 4 speakers from the internal amp. [ Brigham  Dec 27, 2016 ]
We have too many compatible speakers to list here. I recommend calling an advisor on 1-800-324-9695 for help with choosing the best set for you. [ Paul  Nov 23, 2015 ]  Staff
