Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

These speakers sound considerably better than the stock speakers in the door of my 03 Silverado. If you have the ability to cut metal, it is about an hour project to put these in. If you are going to pay someone big bucks to install these, don't, spend the install money on more expensive speakers that fit. They sound good with my Alpine stereo, but they are not a substitue for adding a sub. They add bass, but do not add punch. Overall if you want an upgrade, are not afraid of cutting, and want to save money, buy these speakers. If you are an audiophile with demanding tastes, then get out your wallet. I am pleased with the speakers and do not plan on changing them, although I might be adding a sub in the future.

Pros: Inexpensive, upgrade from stock. Good sounding speakers.

Cons: Moderate installation skills required. Not a substitute for a sub.
