 Denon 5 Year Warranty

Presenting the Denon 100th anniversary headphones

Slip on Denon's AH-A100s and hear your favorite music like you never have before. These special edition headphones are part of a family of components commemorating Denon's 100th year in the business of sound — and they've got the goods to back it up. The luxurious skin-soft earcup padding treats you to a comfortable fit, even during long listening sessions. And Denon's careful engineering means you'll pick up on subtle nuances, like the sound of a guitarist's fingers settling onto a new fret, or the sudden intake of breath just before the singer lets go with the next note.

Powerful magnets and large drivers deliver high-impact sound.

Serious build quality for serious sound

For Denon, reference-quality sound starts with build quality. The real mahogany wood earcup housings take advantage of the acoustic properties of the wood to add natural warmth to your music. Large 50mm diaphragms reproduce fine sonic details and clear, defined bass. The AH-A100s use strong neodymium magnets so they can respond more quickly and powerfully to dramatic changes in the music, like a sudden crescendo. And Denon backs up these special 100th anniversary headphones with an impressive 5 year warranty.

From the review Having an AHA moment with Denon's Centennial Celebration AH-A100 headphones

"The Denon AH-A100 headphones revealed new details in music I was familiar with. They presented me with sonic surprises again and again. I think that this by itself should come as no surprise from a Denon Anniversary component. After all — what better way to celebrate an important anniversary than to bring out your best?"

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I was looking for portable cans good enough to replace my D5000's. At the same time, I had the D5000s, A100's and D1100's. I found these to be nowhere near the sound quality offered by the D5000s. sound signature just felt wrong. the bass was much tighter than the messy D1100s, but was still much too heavy (even for music designed to emphasize bass). mids and highs were all better than the D1100s...but not better than the difference in price. and neither could touch the smooth, liquid feeling of the D5000 or D2000. In the end, I sent them back. I do think they were some of the best truly portable cans on the market, but I just didn't think they were worth the price. But even at their asking price, I probably would have kept them had they been better than the D5000/D2000. But they really weren't. So back they went. I give them 4 stars for being great portable cans. But they weren't what I was looking for.
