Enjoy clear, natural sound and listening versatility with the Denon D-M37. This flexible shelf system lets you listen to a variety of music sources ranging from radio stations to your iPod®, and features an advanced design to faithfully reproduce each one. And the system's efficiently compact design makes the Denon D-M37 an elegant addition to your office, den, or bedroom.

Advanced design for effortless, dynamic sound
The key to the D-M37's impressive performance lies in Denon's "simple and straight" design concept — short signal paths that minimize outside influences for clean sound reproduction. A robust power circuit supplies a steady stream of power to the analog and digital sections, which are separated to reduce cross interference. You'll hear the kind of richly detailed sound you just don't expect from a shelf system.

Speakers are the weak link for many shelf systems, but not the D-M37 — their sound is carefully tuned to deliver consistently clear sound. Both the speakers and the D-M37 component block sport large terminals to accommodate audiophile-grade speaker wire, so you can upgrade the wire that comes with the system if you choose.

Lots of listening options
The D-M37 handles your MP3 and WMA discs as well as regular audio CDs. You can listen to your iPod and control it using the D-M37's remote by adding the optional ASD-11R dock. A front-panel USB port lets you enjoy tunes stored on a thumb drive. And with two auxiliary inputs, you can connect additional components such as a DVD player or game system.

Great Micro System

Rodolfo from Houston, TX on 3/5/2010

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This is a great micro system, ideal for my one bedroom apartment. The sound is powerful and detailed, warm, with an ample soundstage. Brings up details of the recording that I haven't heard in other microsystems. It has somewhat of an emphasis on the midrange, but that's good for jazz which is what I listen to the most. Treble is delicate and clear; bass more than enough considering the size of the speakers. (You can actually increase the bass by installing the speakers closer to a wall). The tuner picks up every station (if you have a good antenna) with clarity and without extra noise. I do recommend this microsystem. If you desire better stereo sound, you'll probably have to jump to separate components or far more expensive "solo" gear, plus buy your separate speakers.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I've been looking for an alarm clock that sounds as good as our Bose Wave to keep in our guest room. I've only had this a few weeks but so far - I love it. It sounds much better than the Bose Wave. The remote allows you to check the time in the middle of the night if you choose, without having the room lit up all night. Well made. User friendly.
