Overview

Our take on the Denon RCD-N7

Because you love listening to music
It's everywhere you are. The CD player in your old truck. The flash drive at work. On your iPod® at the gym. When you finally get home after a long day, wouldn't it be great to have something that plays it all? That's why Denon came up with the RCD-N7. Gather up your CDs, hunt for the thumb drive in your coat, lasso that iPhone® ringing on top of the dresser and bring them all here. Pop something and relax. An optional firmware upgrade gives you Apple AirPlay® — super-convenient access to your iTunes® library, with control from your iPhone, iPod touch®, or iPad™.

The more you get together, the happier you'll be
What about all the music files on your computer? Just hook up the 'N7 to your home network — either with a wired connection or via Wi-Fi — and problem solved. Go beyond your own collection of songs with Internet radio or any number of online music services (subscription fees may apply). One thing's for sure. You won't get bored.

Unleash your iTunes® music — free AirPlay® upgrade
Apple's exciting AirPlay technology lets you access your favorite music from your iPhone®, iPad™, iPod touch®, or your iTunes library on your computer using this Denon receiver. You'll be able to control iTunes and see music information, including your album art, track titles, and artist info on your compatible Apple device. First you will need a firmware upgrade. Go to Denon's website for instructions on how to activate the upgrade. Requires a wireless home network. Receiver requires wired connection to the router.

Pair the RCD-N7 with Audioengine's high-performance P4 speakers for a killer-sounding desktop system that looks great, too.

This system produces great sound & is incredibly easy to use, very intuitive. I have yet to explore all features, but love it just the same. Have not used/set up airplay yet
