Our take on the Q-Forms Kick Panel Enclosures by Crutchfield's Leigh Schoettinger
Many award-winning sound-off competitors put their mid-woofers and tweeters in custom-built kick panel enclosures to get concert-quality stereo imaging. But why pay hundreds of dollars to an installer when you can do it yourself? Just mount your 6-1/2" component system in Q-Logic's Q-Forms kick panel enclosures, and your car speakers will deliver competition-quality imaging without the expensive price tag.
Q-Forms enclosures hold your speakers in an ideal position, angling them to maximize sound quality. Since the Q-Forms are located near your feet, the distance from your ears to each speaker becomes closer to equal, creating a superior soundstage. The driver's seat becomes the "sweet spot" for great stereo sound. Warranty: 1 year
Note: The Q-Forms do not come with pre-cut holes, so you must cut holes in order to install your component speakers in the enclosures. Installing the Q-Forms panel enclosures in your vehicle may require relocation of the parking brake pedal or other vehicle parts. Please enter your vehicle information or call a Sales Advisor at 1-888-955-6000 to find out if this model is compatible with your vehicle.
Installation note for 1983-94 Ford Ranger, 1983-90 Ford Bronco II, or 1994 Mazda B-Series: To install, move parking brake about 3" (spacer included). In pre-1992 models, relocate computer from passenger side kick panel (disconnect battery before moving it).

Product Overview: Q-Logic C-Series Q-Form custom kick panels are designed to hold a 2-way component speaker system consisting of a woofer up to 6-1/2" and a tweeter (up to 2" diameter). They are fabricated of durable ABS plastic, color matched to the factory interior colors, and directly replace the factory kick panels. The positioning and angle of the speakers provide optimum stereo imaging and staging.
No Grilles: Because no grilles are included with the Q-Forms, you must use the grilles supplied with the component system. Note: One of the included installation guides states that 2 Q-grilles are included. That is not the case for the C-series Q-Forms.
Compatibility: These Q-Forms are designed to fit select 1986-1988 Ford Ranger and Bronco II trucks. They match the factory beige interior trim. The kick panels are also available in other colors. Note: For each specific vehicle, please verify compatibility with the "What Fits My Car?" vehicle selector.
Installation Overview: You will need to cut out the mounting holes in the designated areas of the plastic Q-Form. A roll of foam tape is provided for sealing the woofer in the kick panel. The tweeter can be flush or surface mounted. Giving exact mounting depths is not possible, since it will depend to some extent on the space available behind the factory kick panel.

1 question already asked
1 answer I drive a manual Bronco II and if there is two of these kick panels like the product says I don't see how it could clear my emergency brake. The brake is already basically flush with my existing kick panel so I guess my question is does it clear the emergency brake on a 1987 Ford Bronco II with a manual transmission?
