Sanus' QuickConnect™ system lets you just attach the mounting head by simply snapping it into the arm assembly. And you can disengage it with a button push — handy if you need to remove your TV for repairs or replacement.

After installation, the mount's "roll" adjustment lets you fine-tune your TV's position to ensure that the screen is perfectly level. The arm assembly can also be shifted slightly left or right on the wall plate so the TV is always centered, even if your wall studs are off-center. Finally, the mount's hollow arm lets you thread cables through it, keeping them out of sight and free from tangles.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I was fairly unknowledgeable about full-motion mounts such as this model, but after doing some research, I found that Sanus, in general, makes a good mount for TV's 55" and up. After debating the cost to quality ratio, I decided to purchase this Sanus mount. A mount this big might be intimidating to most average consumers, but this mount is really easy to install. The only half difficult part was drilling fairly big holes in the sheetrock(and studs behind it!) and then lifting my 130lbs. TV into place. The instructions were clear and easy to understand and the mount, although having several parts in the box, was easy to assemble. Overall, I would highly recommend this TV mount to anyone with a little handyman experience who wants the flexibility to enjoy their big screen from anywhere in the room. As far as big TV mounts are concerned, you won't find a better mount, period!

Pros: Easy to read instructions, fairly easy to install. Great manuverability. Best mount out there for those willing to spend a little more.

Cons: Price. Expensive, but "you get what you pay for!"

Dawn from DFW, TX on 2/16/2014

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

We used this wall mount for the Samsung 64" plasma TV. It was very easy to install. We chose this one, as we needed to install the TV to be in a corner of the room. We were able to install the wall mount on one wall and position the TV at an angle to the corner due to 2 pivot points. The arm has a channel to hide wires.

Pros: Ease of installation. Good directions.

Cons: None.

First mount purchase

DC from Vilonia, AR on 1/27/2014

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Purchased the mount 3 weeks ago. Great product. The quality is the best I have ever seen. I mounted my 55inch TV in a corner. This Full motion mount gives me the flexibility to move the TV around very easy. This mount has a very long arm that lets it extend out further than most mounts. Very pleased. Need 2 people to install.

Pros: Excellent Quality

Cons: Very expensive for a Mount, but the quality justifies the price.

Great TV Mount and service from Crutchfield team!

Cody from Madison, MS on 1/19/2014

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The mount is the only one I could find that would work for the specific job I had for mounting my TV in our built-in entertainment center. The team at Crutchfield was the best I've ever encountered during an online purchase. They called me (a human being) to verify I wanted the actual product I ordered prior to shipping. The lady was very nice. The price was the best available for this high priced mount.

Pros: Great quality and function

Cons: Heavy

Orderd this to hang a 55" tv recently purchased via Crutchfield. Product was very easy to set-up, and hang on wall, and Instructions were straight forward. I would recommend a two(2) person effort. This product is a very sturdy unit, but allows adjustments for proper viewing angles.

Very pleased with the product. Strong and durable.

Pros: Easy to install and instructions are very good. Installation video is excellent. Product exceeded my expectations.

Cons: A little pricey but we'll worth it. Non really a con...Requires basic tools and some experience and knowledge of how to use the tools. With experience, it takes about two hours to plan and install. Requires help to mount the TV.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The only obvious place to put a TV in my family room was in a built in book case in a corner. By doing so, it limited the viewing area. This mount was the answer to my problem.i was able to installed the mount in the book case and fully extend it so I could put my 60" Samsung at an angle. Equally as exciting, I purchased the Sanus kit to mount my Bose 1SR soundbar to the mount as well.

Pros: Quality product

Cons: None.

Great Product

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This is a great mount!! Easy to install and works well. Mounted a LG 47", 6'6" from the floor in my outdoor kitchen/pool area. The mount was easy to install. Took less than an hour and I can rotate my TV 90 degrees either direction. The additional 2-3 degrees front tilt makes a huge difference over other mounts especially when mounting this high. The mount is basically fully adjustable to tune it in to your preference. Its a bit pricey over some other mounts but worth the investment.

Pros: ease of mounting, adjustibility and front tilt.

Cons: None other than price.

High quality

rockys from Los Altos, Ca. on 9/7/2013

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Very sturdy television mount. I was looking at reviews of the less expensive mounts. Not as sturdy(the mounts would sag) and not very attractive. The Sanus LF228 is very attractive and sturdy. You get what you pay for. As far as affordability, Crutchfield really helps with their good prices. Better than Amazon!

Pros: Sturdiness and nice looking

Cons: Hmmm, none at this time.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Cons: price

Sanus LF228 - Rock Solid

David B from Glendale, CA on 7/11/2013

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Do your homework on product comparison and installation - you will not be disappointed. This mount is a winner, well worth the (nicely competitive) Crutchfield price. The Sanus web site has good info - the video and the manual covers it all. This mount is holding my 40" Bravia without a problem. I installed in an old house with thick, uneven plaster walls. The LF228 has a flexible vertical mounting plate which accommodated the irregularities. The unit is heavy and stable, easy to adjust. Being able to push our TV out of the way makes our living room look at least 20% larger. The mount easily swings the TV back to any viewing angle. Quite a piece of equipment. Be sure to locate your stud centers!

Pros: Solid, heavy feel, all parts included, installation straightforward.

Cons: Could have gone a bit further on the cable hiding feature - hard to get those ties in place.

Great TV mount!

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Bought a Sanus mount for my 46 in TV a few years ago and was impressed with the quality and felt secure with how heavy duty it was. I like the articulating arm for easy access to the back of the TV and is still low profile so the TV is close to the wall when retracted. Just gives me access and flexibility down the road with piece of mind that my expensive TV won't hit the floor. As far as buying from Crutchfield, I always prefer to buy from them when I can. Been doing so for many years.

Pros: Strength, Flexability, Complete mounting hardware, quality name in TV mounts

Cons: None

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This is a great mount for very large screens. I am using it with a 47" screen and it allows the screen to turn perpendicular to the wall on which it is mounted. The instructions are extremely clear making it very easy to mount.

Pros: Ease of installation. Flexibility. Sturdy.

Cons: A bit pricey.

High quality performance and easy to install

Satisfied Customer from Grand Rapids, MI on 9/20/2012

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This Sanus unit exceeded all my expectations. It is very strong and provides lots of flexibility to position my 60" flat screen in any position I want. I have the TV in the corner of my theater room and with this unit I can have it flush to the wall or at a 45 in the corner. It was extremely easy to install, excellent instructions plus the online height positioning assistant was great. I used this as an opportunity to teach my 11 year old to use tools and install something and with just a little help he practically did it all by himself. It's pricey but very well worth the investment. Also, I originally ordered the wrong unit that didn't extend far enough from the wall. The Crutchfield team was awesome - they recommend the unit I really needed, and then made it easy and cost-free for me to return the unit and purchase the one I really needed!

Pros: High quality, strong and functional for large LCD TV's Easy to install

Cons: Cost, but you get what you pay for.
