Upgrade with this mount

SK from Honolulu, HI on 11/16/2013

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Not the easiest to install, but that is due to the mount options and positioning a sailable with it. I found this mount to be better than the "standard" mounts because it can hold the TV a little further from the wall, leaving some room for your power and wire connections behind it. With my last mount I needed to install a little spacer behind the mount to gain the room I needed.

Pros: Plenty of positioning options Clean trim

Cons: Install is a little complicated

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This is a great product. I purchased it because I already had a Sanus bracket for my TV and had to replace it because I purchased a larger TV. It arrived quickly. I am impressed with the quality and ease of installation.

Pros: Quality product, arrived quickly, easy installation , informative directions.

Samsung LED mount

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The mount works great, however the assembly was horrible. The kit came with 3 sets of tv mounting screws and none of them worked with my tv. They were either too long or too short. I had to add washers to the screws to make them work correctly.

Pros: Very stable and adjustable. Having the tv articulate away from the wall helps with configuring wires behind the tv.

Cons: The mounting hardware was not the correct length for my smart tv.

Strong, durable, the TV hasn't fallen yet!

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I hung my 42" old school plasma (read: super duper heavy) into drywall (hitting 2 studs), and thus far it's been rock solid. The swivel arm takes a little finessing to make sure you get the right for you balance of, turns to easily vs too much residence. Beyond that, it wasn't too hard to install if you have basic instruction reading skills and let's be honest, drilling and bolting something into wall skills. Besides debating ways to re-engineer the swivel for perfect out of the box resistance, I wouldn't change a thing.

Pros: Easy to install if you have basic tool skills, feels very very solid, great range of motion, reliable.

Cons: Wall unit itself is quite heavy, could cost less, general need to finesse the swivel resistance.

These Mounts are GREAT!

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Just mounted our two TVs and these mounts are GREAT! The instructor wanted the TVs to be installed in a narrow cubby. These articulating mounts allowed the TVs to be brought forward or pushed back into the cubby!!! Had no trouble setting them up. Great product!

Heavy-duty and easy to install..

Pros: Easy adjustments.

Cons: Heavy to lift but still worth it for its' strength.

Sands Classic MLF20-B1

TonyK from Granby, CT on 2/14/2013

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

A well engineered product made from heavy steel and aluminum. Lots of hardware options to adapt to a variety of TV configurations. Good assembly/installation instructions. I like all of the bracket adjustment features. It definitely requires 2 people to lift the TV/bracket assembly onto the wall plate mount. Once mounted I like the adjustability features this system affords my 55 inch TV. It is smooth and easy to adjust and I especially like the 20 inch extend ability.

Pros: Strong and well engineered product that makes my TV more versatile.

Cons: Heavy to lift - requires 2 people. Wall plate should accommodate stud spacing beyond 16 inches

Sanus MLF20-B1

Garage Rat from Chicago IL on 1/17/2013

Wall plate rediculously small, 18" to accomodate larger stud widths. For the price this shouldn't have been an issue. Pure lack of practical application here. Check before buying if your wall studs are farther than 16". 17" studs are max and not sure you could do that with this plate as you would ride the end of the plate holes. Unbelieveable as this was not even possibly known until you unpack the wall plate and measure. I have never seen this before and never expected it from this company.

Pros: Good quality wall plate.

Cons: Bad practical applications for the customer. If your stud spot will be 16" centered where you want this, then it's pretty nice.

The product is well rated to handle the LG plasma TV that we installed. There were plenty of materials to handle the situation.

Quality Product

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The Sanus Classic was easy to mount and adjust. With myself and one other person we had my 55 inch television mounted in 1 hr (we have hung a few wall mounts before). They provide more then enought different types of bolts to match any TV and the directions were well laid out. The mount is easy to extend, tilt or move side to side, making it convienent for many different viewing angles. I would recommend this product to anyone interested.
