Overview

Our take on the Sanus VF2022

This innovative component rack from Sanus lets you wall-mount your audio/video gear under your flat-panel TV. Two adjustable tempered glass shelves provide stable bases for your components, supported by two sturdy extruded aluminum columns which you anchor directly to wooden wall studs.

This innovative component rack from Sanus lets you wall-mount your audio/video gear under your flat-panel TV. Two adjustable tempered glass shelves provide stable bases for your components, supported by two sturdy extruded aluminum columns which you anchor directly to wooden wall studs.

Each column features two interior channels that let you conceal your components' signal wires separately from their power cables. This not only keeps your system looking neat and uncluttered, but also prevents performance-robbing electrical interference, so you won't have to sacrifice sound or picture quality.

This unit is awesome! It is heavier than I imagined, and fully capable of handling the weights that it states. The "columns" can be placed and varying distances (apart) to ensure that you put them into STUDS (this is a must).

Q & A

Customer Q&A

Crutchfield asked
Why did you buy this?

It will hopefully eliminate clutter that comes with bulky tv stands and cases. [ Christina  Dec 15, 2016 ]
Plan on wall mounting a TV. [ ERNEST  Nov 08, 2016 ]
Style for my application [ Mark  Feb 18, 2016 ]
Looks like quality product, well-reviewed, need deeper shelves for components. Discussed requirements with Sam and settled on double-wide unit. [ Rebecca L  Feb 07, 2016 ]

1 question already asked

I would assume this limitation is to ensure adequate room to place typically dimensioned electronic components on the top shelf and still have room for the TV to mount ahove the unit. [ JOHN  Dec 07, 2014 ]
I am not sure where the 39 inches from floor is coming from. I can tell you the Sanus VF2022 is a GREAT quality product. You will be very happy with this product. It has QUALITY all over it. Maybe the 39 inches has to do with the TV being mounted symmetrically on the wall. [ LAWRENCE J  Dec 02, 2014 ]
I mounted mine at or above 50" without a problem. [ PAUL M  Dec 02, 2014 ]
That statement makes absolutely no sense to me... To the point that I'ma look for those reviews context. With the correct hardware, one could mount it to the top of the Space Needle. I would comfortably remount it as high as any wall height, in any home. Safety 3rd, I suppose ;)~ [ SHAWN  Dec 02, 2014 ]
The installation instructions tell you not to install the unit with the top shelf more than 39 inches above the floor but there is no real reason you can't install it higher than that, I did. Maybe the manufacturer has safety concerns about something falling and injuring someone. [ Raymond  Dec 02, 2014 ]
