A smart design for easier mounting
Sanus' QuickConnect™ system lets you just attach the mounting head — the part that attaches the back of your TV — by simply snapping it into the arm assembly. And you can disengage it with a button push — handy if you need to remove your TV for repairs or replacement.

Fine-tune your TV's placement
After installation, the mount's "roll" adjustment lets you fine-tune your TV's position to ensure that the screen is perfectly level. The arm assembly can also be shifted slightly left or right on the wall plate so the TV is centered, even if your wall studs are off-center. Finally, the mount's hollow arm lets you thread cables through it, keeping them out of sight and free from tangles.

Very Satisfied

John D from Atherton, Ca on 2/20/2014

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Well written installation instructions. Takes a little time to install but straight forward for anyone who is at all handy. If you're looking for a heavy duty but compact articulated mount, this is a good one.

Pros: For something this sturdy it takes up minimum space. It does everything that was advertised and the price was very reasonable.

Cons: None

TV full motion mount

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Install was as per manual, sideway motion very easy, pull out still needs work, but don't need much more than the sideway gives

Pros: Simple side motion, excellent overall

Cons: Needed more spacers than sanus said I would for my tv, needed extra person to set the tv on mount, not a very close to the wall mount

Wow! This mount is GREAT!!

Kimmerz from Milwaukee, WI on 7/26/2013

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I have a LG 42" and couldn't understand why the mounts were on the expensive side. Well, I will tell ya..a tornado could hit this house and I am confident that the TV will still be attached to the wall! The video from is most helpful!!!! A bit time consuming, 2 people a must! This mount does what it says: tilt, left/right, in/out.

Pros: Sturdy

Cons: Attaching the rear bracket to the tv was a bit confusing. Video and directions were both lacking in instruction.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I was intimidated when the box arrived because it looked more complicated than I thought. But the directions were very easy to follow step by step, and assembly was not too difficult. I had all the tools available at home, and just needed to go to the hardware store to get a longer 7/32 drill bit, because you need to drill into the studs at least 3 1/2" deep. It is incredibly sturdy and a great solution for mounting my Sony 40" TV. The arm is flexible and can pivot the TV in a number of directions, even perpindicular with the wall.

Pros: Great product.

Cons: None.

Pretty good

Butchdog from MN on 3/17/2013

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

It's bigger than expected, easy to mount, the center pivot point is extremely stiff. I emailed the company and was told it would get better with use. Unfortunately it hasn't and continues to be a difficult two handed job to extend the tv.

Pros: Well made, easy to mount, level adjustment is really nice.

Cons: Stiff center pivot point, has an adjustable nut that doesn't make any difference regardless of position.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Great product. Went up easily, seems sturdy, plenty of adjustment. I cringed when I decided to spend the money on this mount, but this was my first large flat panel TV (Samsung plasma 51") and did not want to spend the next few years watching it and wishing I could tilt it slightly this way or that. It also looked better than cheaper mounts in case I ended up extending the TV, exposing the wall.

Pros: Good instructions online height calculator adjustments appearance ease of installation

Cons: price price price

Sanus VLF 220 Full-Motion TV Mount

Bill from Park Ridge, NJ on 9/20/2012

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This is not the first Sanus mount I have used. They definitely make a quality product with easily understood instructions. I did try another mount in the past and it was not the same quality as Sanus. Would have given a full 5 stars but the arm covers, which are not necessary behind the TV that no one can see, one cracked its mounting tip when removed. The other didn't seem to go back given how the cables were run. But these covers seemed superfluous Bill

Strong, strudy and does the job!

ScottS from Stone Ridge, NY on 7/9/2012

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I needed a swiveling, tilting tv wall mount for my 40" SONY. I needed something that was going to be strong enough to handle the tv (heavy model). The team at Crutchfield said this model would fit my needs. How right they were! Right out of the box the unit is easy to stage and set up for assembly. The directions are a little confusing if you try to go step by step as you assemble it. Take a few moments prior to assembly to find your hardware in the included hardware package (Sanus gives you all the nuts/bolts for almost any tv in the box, so you'll have extra). Once I had that done, the unit went up fairly quickly. Nice to have is Sanus's "Height-finder" application on their website that gives you your mounting measurements, freeing up time. Once I had the unit attached to the studs in the wall, stringing the HDMI/power cables through the arm were very easy. I was impressed with how strong the unit as a whole was and the ease of motion (adjustable/lockable). Overall very pleased with this product.

Pros: Ease of setup. Strong construction. Unit gives you quite a bit of leeway for installing lag bolts if your studwall isn't exact. Great customer support though Crutchfield & with the Sanus "Height-finder" makes positioning and measuring a snap.

Cons: Directions are a little tough to follow if you are doing it "on the fly". Take a few minutes and read through, pick & setup your hardware first.
