The Sanus VisionMount VMA202 lets you mount your sound bar or center channel speaker below your wall-mounted plasma or LCD TV for a clean-looking, good-sounding system. This sturdy bracket lets you fasten your wall-mountable speaker directly to your compatible Sanus TV mount, so you won't have to drill any additional holes in your wall. And because the VMA202 connects directly to your Sanus wall mount, your speaker will always remain in the same plane as your TV, no matter how you adjust it.
Note: The total weight of the TV and speaker must not exceed the TV mount rating.
Works very well.

Average Customer Review(s):
Works very well.
Pros: Easy to adjust. Sturdy.
This TV mount is the strongest one I've seen yet. When I opened the box I was a little intimidated, but after looking over the instructions it went pretty smoothly. I had my 75" Sony Bravia up on the wall in a little under an hour and it looks great. The online measuring guide was also terrific, I got mine within an inch of what it stated. I also used the center channel mount that came separately to mount my Infinity PC351 which weighed 25 lbs., but with that and my 72 lb. TV, the mount still holds 100 lbs. more than I have on it. I couldn't be any happier, great products Crutchfield!
Pros: Sturdy construction and great look, (can't see the mount behind the TV). Arrived in about 3 days.
Cons: I honestly can't think of one.
I purchased this product to accompany the XF228 that I purchased to hang a Vizio 50" TV. The product was used to place a Yamaha soundbar (the newest Atmos model) under the TV. The instruction manual is lacking in scenarios that arose in installing the soundbar with this product. I had to be a little creative in using the included brackets to make a 3 screw per side configuration to make it stable for hanging. What gave me the most heart burn is the piece that attaches to the wall mount from the bottom. It seems that it was improperly made outside of the factory or an issue with the XF228 or both. I had to borderline force the bracket through the fixture before I could attach it to the mount. Once it was on it seemed quite stable, just don't give it much bumping around. It did not inspire me as something that can take to hard a hit. That is just my perception and not necessarily the build quality of the mount. I am not saying do not buy the mount. What I would strongly recommend is to thoroughly research what speaker bar to you plan to use with the mount in addition to properly centering the XF228 bracket. If I had followed the XF228 instructions it would have resulted in the mounting points being blocked and resulting in a lengthy, frustrating disassembly to get the mount on. This I blame on the XF228 documentation. The product includes a good amount of mounting hardware so hopefully it will meet your needs.
Pros: - Flexible mounting options - Compatibility with various Sanus TV wall mount products
Cons: - Quality Assurance could be better - Included instructions should be clearer especially in relation to where the TV Mounting bracket should be, the XF228 manual is likely at fault here. - The product impressed me as possibly not being able to take a significant smack but it is hard to tell.
Easy assembly and works great
Pros: Ease of assembly
Very good product that attached directly to my Sanus TV mount. It works great and allows the sound bar to be elevated off the ground for better sound.
Pros: Worked well with my Sanus TV mount
Cons: It was challenging plugging in HDMI cords and power cords to the Sound bar once the Sound bar is mounted.
Works great!! I had the tv wall mount so this is the best way to mount a sound bar.
Pros: Excellent quality
Like other purchasers, my room required a sound bar to be mounted below a Samsung flat screen hanging diagonally in the corner of a room. To the best of my knowledge, this is the ONLY product that allows such mounting. If you need/want a self-powered sound bar, give up looking now and order Bose 1SR, which has the threaded mounts required, and purchase your own 5M bolts at you local hardware store. It took Crutchfield a year to find me this compatible sound bar. I had mine professionally installed, so not aware of any mounting difficulties.
Pros: Perfect product if you want to mount a sound bar below a 'floating" flat screen.
Cons: VERY, VERY limited choices of compatible self-powered sound bars! Yamaha YSP-5100 is way to large for anything short of 60-65" flat screen.
The Sanus VMA202 Sound Bar mount worked very well with the Sanus VLF210 TV mount. Easy to install with plenty of strength and adjustability. My only issue with the mount, was I needed to use the provided extenders to mount the Klipsch SB-1 Sound Bar due to length. These extenders were larger than the Sound Bar so you could see the extenders from behind the sound bar (it did not have a clean of a look). So I needed to drill my own holes for mounting of the sound bar. After that, it looks and functions execllent.
Pros: Strong, good adjusctment, pleanty of hardware and mounted well to TV mount.
Cons: Did not fit my Sound Bar cleanly.
Limited adjustments, over priced, too many left over parts, but gets the job done.
Pros: Good alignment, confident it would match manufacturer of the TV mount.
Cons: Slightly unstable, too much Gap between tv and sound bar (wires are visible).
We were very pleased to find the Sanus VMA202 Sound Bar Speaker Mount. It fits perfectly with the Sanus TV mount and is exactly what we needed. Our new 55" Samsung LED TV is mounted so that it is angled and we wanted to eliminate multiple speakers. We had visited some electronics stores which told us nothing like this existed. The mount is installed and now holds our new speaker bar. Thanks to Crutchfield for offering a great product solution at an awesome price!
I am fairly mechanically inclined, but this thing is tough to figure out. Got it done but looks weird. Hangs down to low.
Cons: Very difficult to put together.
I purchased this for use with a Sanus XF228 Full Motion Wall Mount. It was the perfect addition since the LED TV would be located in the corner of the room. This product allows the center speaker to compliment the direction of the screen regardless of the angle . Very easy to assemble and install, from the box to the wall mount in 10 minutes. Very Happy with this item.
Very comprehensive unit. Directions could've been better. They make it so inclusive of every possible mounting configuration, it can be confusing which to use. Because it's meant as a universal bracket to the many soundbars available, I actually used very few of the multitude of parts. Felt badly throwing away 99% of the mounting/attachment hardware. Unit looks great and works as advertised. Have a Sony 55" LED TV.

Because of full motion [ Richard A. Jan 18, 2016 ]
Goes together with SANUS VM220, great TV mount [ FRANCISCO Jan 11, 2016 ]
No, it will not. This mount is for straight sound bars. The attachment to the TV mount requires a unique slide and clip that's part of the TV mount. The Sanus VLC1 does not have this. However, the SANUS SA405 soundbar speaker universal mount might work for you. [ MICHAEL Jan 31, 2017 ]
The Sanus VisionMount VMA202 soundbar speaker mount was designed specifically for the Sanus VisionMount series. The Sanus XF228, LF228, VLF220, VLF210, VMF220, VLMF109 and VXF220 wall mounts are the compatible options for this soundbar mount. However, the Sanus SA405 mount would work with the MLF13: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_051SA405/Sanus-SA405-Sound-Bar-Speaker-Mount.html?tp=933 [ Larry Dec 30, 2015 ] Staff
Manufacturer lists for use with compatible Sanus flat-panel TV wall mounts, including the XF228, LF228, VLF220, VLF210, VMF220, and VLMF109. Since we don't carry the mount you have, we would be unable to confirm. I would check with the manufacturer to be sure. [ Kenny Dec 29, 2015 ] Staff
This is designed for use with compatible Sanus flat-panel TV wall mounts, including the XF228, LF228, VLF220, VLF210, VMF220, and VLMF109 [ Jeff Apr 16, 2015 ] Staff
We don't have a listing of all the soundbars this will work with. However, as long as your soundbar is under 35 lbs and has rear-panel threaded inserts for wall-mounting, then you should be good to go. [ Jeff Feb 24, 2014 ] Staff
