Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)
For a stand specifically made for the Sonos Play 5, I was expecting a little more. There is nothing really securing the speaker to the stand except for a small notch slot and just a slight nudge could move the speaker off its perch. Sanus suggests using some 3M strips to more securely attach the speakers, but doesn't provide any. I think Sonos may be partially to blame since they didn't provide any screw holes on the Play 5's as they do on their Play 1's. However, I think Sanus should have compensated for that by providing a back bracket as they did for the Play 1.
Pros: Stylish and hides the wiring well. Height level seems just right for the PLAY 5.
Cons: Pricey and not that well designed. Weight limit of 15 lbs may limit the use of the stand for other speakers. Having to go out and buy 3M strips after spending money to buy the stand.
