Works with Sonos PLAYBASE and PLAYBAR

This tabletop stand was designed to work with the Sonos PLAYBASE and Sonos PLAYBAR. Mount your TV, and it will appear to hover over your Sonos sound bar of choice. The WSTV1 practically disappears behind your TV and speaker.

Keep cables tucked away in the hollow pillar for a clean, uncluttered appearance. This stand can support a TV with a screen size between 32"-60" and weighing up to 60 lbs.

Looks great on my table, and blends in beautifully with the SONOS Playbase. Really smooth action on the swivel, too.

Nice & sturdy stand, sanus knows how to make these. Adds a clean look to an otherwise boring cable box & lifts the tv up off its feet.

Pros: Like a piece of art on the dresser, adds clean space, ease of swivel, swivel amount is perfect, nice cable management ... easy to put together... platform large enough to seat large cable box

Cons: Wish there were color choices for the few parts that are seen.

Serves the purpose...sorta...

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The TV Base does what it is supposed to do (mount the TV above the Sonos Playbase). Unfortunately the Playbase doesn't sit on the stand correctly and is not an exact for the speaker. This issue is kind of disappointing but I can live with it. The overall effect is good and it does what it was designed to do.

Pros: Moves the TV above the Sonos Playbase. Heavy duty! Good "overall" design.

Cons: Playbase is not quite an exact fit for the base of the stand. Assembly instructions could have been clearer.

Sanus WSTV1 Swivel Universal TV Base for TVs 32" to 60"

Anonymous from Camillus, NY on 7/23/2017

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This is very heavy, versatile, well built stand which is adjustable from side to side, up and down and can be mounted at multiple heights. The only minor problem was lining up the locking holes which had to be enlarged in order to insert the locking screws. Very Happy with the purchase thus far.

Cons:

High quality stand for tabletop installation

Mike from Portland, OR on 6/15/2017

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The Sanus stand is extremely sturdy and easy to assemble. Having all sizes of hardware included ensured there would be no unscheduled trips to the hardware store. I was particularly impressed by how well engineered the parts were, helping to ensure proper assembly. Just what I needed to acccomodate my TV and sound bar on a corner cabinet.

Pros: Easy to assemble, clear instructions, solid construction, good cable management feature

Cons: None

Super stable and rotates easily

Very stable with a high quality feel. You really need the Sonos Playbase for it to look right though. I have a Bose sound bar on it an it looks odd. Just the excuse I needed!!

Cons:

Very nice

Matt from Tolleson, AZ on 5/5/2017

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This is a very sturdy unit, the amount of swivel side to side is great. The fact that it has a single center support allows it to take less surface space than the original stationary TV legs. Also has a small amount of horizontal angle adjustment. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it's a bit pricy, and, combined with the weight of the TV, it's very heavy.

Pros: Sturdy, good amount of swivel

Cons: A bit pricy, very heavy attached to TV

Customer Q&A

Crutchfield asked
Why did you buy this?

This will be used to raise my TV to accommodate a center channel speaker below the TV. [ Casey  Dec 11, 2017 ]
My Crutchfield advisor found it for me. [ Phillip  Nov 28, 2017 ]
so the playbase would fit under the tv [ Michael A.  Sep 09, 2017 ]
Allows for a wide choice of sound bars whereas our TV sits too close to the cabinet surface; our TV is located in a corner cabinet and needs to be swiveled for optimum viewing. [ MICHAEL  May 27, 2017 ]

2 questions already asked

Can't say. Did not use with my purchased sound base. Sorry [ George  Sep 19, 2017 ]
Have no idea. I simply placed my sound bar on top of the base. [ Thomas  Sep 19, 2017 ]
The playbar can rest on the base of the Sanus. There is no mounting hardware to attach the playbar or playbase. The television can then be positioned to sit above the playbar. Before I purchased the Sanus unit, the playbar sat in front of the television and blocked the sensor for TV remote control. Sanu provides an orderly set-up and solution. [ david  Sep 19, 2017 ]
It doesn't. The tv gets attached to the stand and then the playbar sits on the base below and in front of the tv. The benefit of using this stand is that the playbar will not block the lower part of the tv and the tv can swivel. It also does a nice job of hiding the cords. [ KARIN  Sep 19, 2017 ]
Playbar doesn't mount to the stand. It sits below it. [ Gerard  Sep 19, 2017 ]
I have the same tv and it works great and does hold the weight? [ George  Sep 19, 2017 ]
No problem. [ Norman  Jul 09, 2017 ]
