Saved me time and money

Cons: Should have come with an extra battery!

Must Have Accessory for serious photo work!

Ron from San Antonio, TX on 7/19/2012

Good balance with longer/ heavier lens. Fits and matches the D7000 perfectly plus provides solid grip especially for those with large hands. Quality is spot on as usual with Most Nikon products. I normally shoot in RAW format 14 bit and have yet to run out of battery power; the battery longevity is great! I found that the grip battery does not seat real tight thus a little rattle when I tilt the camera; this is no major issue, just notiicable. Wish it could power a flash attached to the camera. All in all totally satisfied and highly recommend it to anyone serious about photography

Pros: Highly functional, excellent quality, extended shooting time, great balance

Cons: EN-EL15 Battery rattles slightly

The real grip for the Nikon D7000

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This grip fits the camera perfectly. It also adds functionality via a joystick and shutter-release button that makes portrait aspect pictures so much easier to take. It does add some weight obviously, but it also adds to the dimensions of the camera and is perfect for photographers with larger hands. Don't waste your money with the aftermarket imitations - this MB-D11 is the right grip for the D7000.

Pros: Adds size for photographers with larger hands. Adds the functionality of a joystick and shutter release button for portrait-aspect photos. Comes with a AA-sized battery tray and storage pouch. Fits the camera perfectly.

Cons: This is a very minor inconvenience, but the grip only holds one battery. The camera also holds a battery, so the grip must be removed to access the camera's internal battery for removal during charging. For the price, I wish it included a battery.

i first want to say that i received my package extra fast and the package was in new condition and just all it said it would be. now to the review, for someone like myself who has big hands the d700 is still kinda big but now more ergonomic in my hands. i bought an extra battery to change when my battery died but now i just use some rechargeable ones and get countless more hours of shooting. plus bumping my fps from 6 to 7 is kinda awesome even though i always shoot single shot its still a good feature for action and sports and wildlife shooters. all in all a great and id say must have product for the d700
