Stream music with Wi-Fi and AirPlay

With so many streaming music options, the NP-H750 will take your listening far beyond discs. Built-in Wi-Fi makes it easy to get connected to your wireless home network, even if your router is in another room. Once you're connected, you can stream music from portable devices and computers on your network. If you have music on an iPhone® or a computer running iTunes®, then use Apple AirPlay. It's also great for streaming from apps like YouTube™ and Spotify® on your iPhone or iPad®. Even if you're not an Apple user, the NP-H750's DLNA compatibility will let you stream music from networked PCs, music servers, and even select Android™ devices.

Internet radio on board

Feel like listening to something besides what's in your digital collection? Then explore the endless world of Internet radio. The 'H750 has built-in support for vTuner, a free service that lets you scour the globe for cool radio streams. It's easy to browse stations and save favorites using TEAC's online vTuner portal. So you can quickly jump from Australia to Zimbabwe with the push of a button on your remote.

High-res audio

High-resolution USB DAC

TEAC designed the 'H750 for high-performance audio playback, so all your music can sound its best. That's why digital-to-analog conversion is performed by a high-quality Burr-Brown DAC. For a dose of better-than-CD sound, plug your computer into the asynchronous USB DAC input and play high-resolution FLAC or WAV files for true musical accuracy with minimal distortion. There are also optical and coaxial digital audio inputs, so you can get wonderfully detailed sound from other digital sources like a CD player.

More music playback options

Want even more features? This amp delivers, with a front-panel USB port for plugging in you iPod®, iPhone, or iPad. Sit back and control it with the 'H750's remote to listen while your device charges. Or load up a thumb drive with digital music and pop it in. There's even a built-in timer for automatically powering on and off. Use it to wake up in the morning with your favorite "get-me-going" song or to drift off to sleep to something more soothing.

This amp functions perfectly and in spite of its small size is quite strong enough to suit my needs. I bought it for the built in WiFi and AirPlay and I'm happy with that function.

Pros: Built in AirPlay, small size.

    Cons: Setup a bit troublesome.

    Not Ready For Prime Time

    JJ from Colorado on 1/15/2015

    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This receiver has all of the features I was looking for - USB, WiFi, DAC, Internet radio, etc. Unfortunately it never did work as advertised. It never played well with Windows 8 and my system would regularly reboot in the middle of listening to music. After 4 months of use the amp quit outputting audio. I took it to an authorized repair facility and it was fixed. That lasted for two weeks and not it is cycling in volume (wildly goes from inaudible to ear crushing) and is totally unusable. I am taking it back for repairs again.

Pros: Lots of great digital features.

    Cons: Never worked as advertised.

    Close to Great

John S from Missouri on 12/9/2014

    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This amp is very close to being very good. Audio quality is solid. Remote is solid. Build quality solid. It was just what I needed, a first class small amp, quality DAC and Internet radio for my home office. But the unit falls down on the user experience scale. Setup is a chore. Control buttons are too small. The Internet radio has the worst setup and operation I have ever seen. But to hear a high quality Internet radio station fed from my computer via USB to this amp is a joy. Internet radio audio from this unit leaves all other options including SAT & HD radio in the dust. If you survive the setup and getting everything dialed in, this is a very capable and great sounding box.

Pros: Solid DAC and amp. This unit does many things most DAC/amps don't. Very long list of capabilities most other units can't touch. 40 watts drives my Tannoy speakers to office rocking levels. Size is just right for office or second system. Very good remote control. With luck you will forget the setup hassles as you enjoy the very high quality sound.

Cons: The setup is a chore. Not imposable, but no fun either. Internet radio feature set and setup are very, very bad. (but still the best sounding I have ever heard) To add a station preset, requires setting up an on-line portal, and 6 setup steps. Plan on 5-10 minutes PER STATION to setup each station. Whoever thought up the radio preset function should be working for the government. The control buttons are quite small.

    Great little amp!

    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

It does exactly what I want it to, play streaming audio from WiFi. I have it powering a pair of full size speakers, it is plenty loud and nice clean sound.

Pros: Airplay built in, also USB hookup for iPod. Plays Apple lossless files no problem.

Cons: Takes a little long hooking up to the WiFi network.

    Great compact all in one

Frank M from Covina, Ca on 10/2/2014

    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This little amp is packed with so many features and works so good it is a no brainer for a small work space or bedroom system. I bet it would work great with efficient speakers in a larger system and room. You have everything you need in one metal box to enjoy multiple sources of music. It is built like a small tank and sounds very good too!

Pros: Compact and packed with features.

Cons: For a non millennial finding internet radio stations can be a challenge. But since it is my son's amp, he is fine with it.

I am very happy with the TEAC NP-750 Integrated Amplifier. Construction is very good and it was smile to set up. It plays Apple Air Play, Internet Radio, Network Streaming, IOS compatibility, asynchronous USB input and even a Phono Stage.Set up was relatively painless, but you will want to give the manual a careful read before you start.

    Pros: Easy to set up.

    Cons: Monitor screen too small.
