Dual XDVD180

Kyle from Kingsland, GA on 7/23/2006

I bought this unit to entertain my 18 month old on a long car trip. The picture is great, the sound is good, and the design suited our needs.

However, since we purchased the unit we have had a problem with the DC input port causing the power to shut off unexpectedly. We have had to place the power cord in a specific position in order to keep the player playing. One bump in the road and we lose power.

Decent Unit... Poor car mounting design.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I purchased this unit to entertain my 2-year old in the back seat of my wife's SUV. The unit has a great picture and decent sound.

However, it takes entirely too long for loading disc. In addition, when the unit is placed in the head seat mounting kit, it forces too much pressure on the DVD door. The result is that the DVD scrubs the back of the picture door and sometimes stops the DVD from playing altogether.

If your laying the unit flat or holding the unit, then it is pretty good. However, I do not reccomend buying this product for the car mounting option.
