Overview: The Fujinon XF56mm F1.2 R is a
medium telephoto lens with a super fast maximum aperture of f/1.2. It has a Fujifilm X-mount, and is designed
exclusively for Fujifilm X-mount cameras, such as the X-E1, X-Pro1, and the new
X-T1. Its 56mm focal
length is equivalent to 85mm in 35mm photography. The lens includes front and
rear lens caps, and a soft cloth pouch.
Optics: The XF56mm F1.2 R has 11 elements in 8 groups,
including 1 aspherical and 2 extra low dispersion elements. The lens has a 62mm
filter thread for adding screw-on filters.
Lens Hood: The XF56mm F1.2 R comes with a lens hood to
reduce glare and to protect the front element. When attached, the lens hood adds
approximately 2" to the overall length of the lens.
Aperture Control: You can operate the lens with auto and
manual aperture control. The aperture ring can be rotated to "A" for automatic
aperture control. For manual control, you can rotate the ring to the desire
aperture setting between F16 and F1.2.
Firmware Update: Some lens features may not be available
with older versions of the camera
firmware. It is recommended that the camera be updated with the latest available
