Mount the socket wherever you need it most to plug and unplug your media devices. Warranty: 1 year.

Great fit and looks very professional!
This thing worked great. Extended my new Kenwood Excelon unit to a plug inside of my console. I leave a lightning cord connected and just plug in my phone, toss it in the console, and forget about it. Works great with apple carplay contrary to some reports. One note; make sure you plug it into the right USB outlet, one of mine did Apple Carplay, one did not do Carplay at first it did not work and I thought it was the fault of this unit. Kenwood did not do a good job of communicating this or labeling the UB outputs.
Pros: Worked just like it should. everything works great
Cons: The "rubber" nut they give you to tighten it in place is a pain to tighten, really sticky. I imagine it will stay in place!!
Looks great like a Factory installation everything works on my Samsung S8 plus for android auto. Going to try HDMI cable next for mirror link.
Pros: Works great excellent fit
Cons: None so far
This was a perfect fit for an already factory plugged hole in the dash board.
It works and looks great! Little challenge to install!
Works as advertised. Installed in the console in my Jeep Wrangler. Looks very clean and factory-like.
Much needed kit to make the connections to the head unit much more professional. Just be sure to plug the USB into the correct plug!
Pros: Makes connection to the head unit a breeze
Cons: Would be nice to have a larger unit with 2 USB and an HDMI
Bought this to have a custom looking mount instead of cord just hanging out the back of my head unit. Like that it has multiple ways to mount
Pros: Clean looking install
I was looking for something to clean up the look of the wires from under my dash after installing my Pioneer NEX radio with video. I had the wires just hanging out and going into my glove box. I found this and thought I'd give it a try. It's really easy to install and gives the whole installation a very clean look. I highly recommend it.
Pros: Clean look, easy to install
Cons: Wire is a little long but no big deal as you can just zip tie it.
The product works great. Installation was hard because of how tight the nut screws on the adapter
Great product easy to install. Gives a clean look.
Works perfectly to extend the HDMI and USB connections from the rear of my Alpine X008U to the center console of my 2012 Expedition. Now I can use both without hassle!

need it for my car stereo [ LOUIS R Jan 08, 2017 ]
Installing this outlet will complete the installation in a professional manner. The system will be much easier to use, look better, and should be installed during the initial installation or be much more difficult or expensive later. Best for all. [ C Nov 22, 2016 ]

I can confirm that the USB connection is fully compatible with Apple CarPlay on a Pioneer AVH4200NEX. [ Bryce Feb 12, 2017 ]
I have this port on my avh-4200 and haven't had any issues with apple car play. I originally wanted to use the iDataLink Maestro ACC-USB-RAM in my ram pickup but that one does my work with CarPlay but it did work with CarPlay. I bought this one as a replacement and I have the idatalink plugged into usb2. The setup works great for me so far. [ Chris Feb 10, 2017 ]
Yep, I agree with Keith and Zak. Android Auto is very picky with the USB cables you use. Using this adapter made the input continue to pop in and out of the sources menu and never held a connection for more than a half second. Glad you noticed this disclaimer before buying, I didn't haha. But it fits perfectly in the little pop-out on my dash, it's a shame really. I think I might try to work some exacto knife/super glue magic to install the stock cable in the little rubber mount... [ Scott Feb 10, 2017 ]
I couldn't give you a definitive answer but my guess is that it's word as not "fully" compatible because you'll still need the HDMI adapter cable from Apple to be able to connect your phone to it. If anyone has a more definitive take I'd also like to know. [ Scott Feb 10, 2017 ]
Do not get it if you plan on using car play. It kind of worked but like a skipping CD. Car play is cable picky. [ ZAK Feb 10, 2017 ]
I own this product and seems to work fine with my apple car play. I believe apple/android compatible are more of a specific spec approval from apple/google. [ Keith Feb 10, 2017 ]
I have a Galaxy Note 4 and it does NOT charge the device, only transfers data. It shows the lightning bolt on the screen like it's charging, but does not seem to charge it. Will driver around for hours and it doesn't go up, so I'm guessing its transferring data only. [ Ladd Jan 19, 2017 ]
Yes , I charge my phone and also Ipad. [ Herbert Jan 18, 2017 ]
Yes, ithw USB port will also charge your device [ JEFFERY Jan 18, 2017 ]
It depends on the device that the USB is plugged in to. If your stereo has a usb charging outlet and you plug the extension into that outlet, then yes it will charge the device. The cord is just an extension and does not have a power supply. [ Chris Jan 18, 2017 ]
Yes [ mervin Jan 18, 2017 ]

Yes your flip cover will still close and funtion [ Antonio Jul 29, 2016 ]
I'm not sure about your Sierra but it should. If you remove the lighter receptacle you should have a space that the until will fit into. It's very easy and I highly recommend it. The wire is long so you should zip tie it up so it doesn't take up a lot of space. I love mine. [ STEVE Jul 29, 2016 ]
Yes it does, no need to drill a new hole [ Devin Jul 03, 2016 ]
I drilled a hole , but it looks like would fit. [ Herbert Jul 02, 2016 ]
Yes,I used an existing cigarette lighter hole and it fit perfectly. [ Matthew Jul 01, 2016 ]
