Speaker up

Make no mistake, these Auditor Series R-130C 5-1/4" coaxial speakers will put your factory speakers to shame. Years of weather-damage and even the most conservative listening will degrade the paper cones that came with your car. Focal built this speaker's polypropylene cone and butyl rubber surround to withstand that kind of damage while delivering robust sound. You'll enjoy a new richness of bass and midrange articulation while gaining an added dimension in the high frequencies, thanks to the R-130C's mylar tweeter. Focal also includes grilles for a custom installation. This is an upgrade you won't regret.

Highlights:

  • 2-way 5-1/4" speakers (pair)
  • polypropylene woofer cone with butyl rubber surround
  • Mylar tweeter
  • rigid steel basket
  • mesh/ABS grilles included
  • 2-50 watts RMS power range (100 watts peak)
  • frequency response: 65-20,000 Hz
  • sensitivity: 85.32 dB

Very good speaker to fill in your system. I have them in my rear doors (2016 F-150) and I like them a lot.

Pros: Sound great. Fill in nicely in rear doors

Cons: None

Great sound

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Looks and feels to be of good quality, and built to last. Mids and highs sound great but would like to hear a bit more lows. These are installed in the roll bar of my jeep, right above my head, and it seems as though the 4" speakers in my dash produce more bass.

Pros: Ease of install, look great, mids and highs sound great

Cons: Would like to hear a bit more bass

Crisp top end performance for a reasonable price

easy install, great sound

Brad from lafayette, IN on 2/28/2016

I grabbed these Focal speakers to replace the stock Bose door speakers in My 2003 Audi TT Roadster. First off, the stock Bose were the worst thing that Bose had to have ever made. I understand stock speakers are like low end, no matter who makes them. But Bose should be ashamed of these. Th install was really simple, no issues at all/ Crutchfield advisor did warn me that they were a lil bit less of a 1/4 inch over as far as mounting depth was listed . However that was for the TT coupe. No issues in the roadster. These are right now paired with the stock head unit, wich will soon be replaced. The sound is nothing short of Fantastic!! I listen mainly to classic rock, and some metal, and these have brought new life to my music!! Next is the stock sub woof , then back speakes, and head unit, then it will be soooo much better to cruise cranking my tunes with the top down!! A huge thank you to my advisor for bringing the attention to the depth issue, glad it wasn't the case. I will tell anyone considering these to jump on them!!

Pros: easy install, Great sound!!

Cons: not a single con to be found

Nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Focal R-130C into '05 Suburban rear doors

57loboy from Palm Beach County, FL on 10/29/2014

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Got these as a last minute replacement after the speakers I originally selected for the rear doors in my '05 Suburban wouldn't fit. Crutchfield tech support was great (as usual) but I was surprised that their fitment guide was as inaccurate as it was. In any event, these fit perfectly and sound much, much better than the factory Bose speakers that were there.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Put them in with my stock head unit. Sounded absolutely terrible so I bought an aftermarket stereo thinking it would help with more watts. Were still very quiet speakers and not worth the dollars to me!

Pros: They are name brand

Cons: They are way overpriced and are quiet.

Great speakers
