2015 Ford Fusion
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)
Love my new(er) Ford Fusion, but there are very limited stereo upgrades and/or aftermarket offerings available for this vehicle. Speakers are even somewhat limited, Focal is one of several offerings, and I am amazed at just what this change(so far) brought to my factory system. I plan on 2-ways(Focal) in the rear doors, now, and then eventually, better wiring, along with a DSP, a "D" series amp, and a good(not overpowering)sub in the future, one step at a time. Just installed these ISS 165's in the stock front door openings(modified tweeter installation, not difficult), and am IMPRESSED with the SOUND! I hear things on FM stereo that I have NEVER heard before. It caught my attention immediately, and now I pay closer attention to the music and believe me, I AM NOT DISAPPOINTED. And I'm getting this with a factory head unit(I love the rear camera, steering wheel controls and the SYNC) that seems to have some guts when cranked up a bit. The DSP will tell the the true story here, however. I wish I had the factory premium system(Sony) which would have been an even better starting point. I have YET to find any brand's entry level product that sound as good as these Focal's do. Can only imagine what the K2's sound like. So if Focal would like to use my Fusion as a test platform for the K2's, call me. I've been a JL Audio fan an user for years, but I thought I'd go out on a limb and see what everyone's ranting about. Glad I did.
Pros: Compared to factory, there is NO comparison. The depth, detail and sound these put out are amazing. Even with a factory wiring harness.
Cons: Haven't found any.
