Our take on the Focal Performance PS 165V

Someone else in your life might say you're splurging, but you know better. A sound upgrade is a reinvigorating investment in your car, and you'll find few brands more reliable than Focal. This PS 165V 6-3/4" component system delivers the goods with many of Focal's signature technologies working in harmony. The light but exceptionally rigid Polyglass woofer cone produces richly-textured bass and midrange frequencies without coloration. A responsive, sturdy butyl surround ensures long-lasting performance, while the woofer's phase plug enhances dispersion for excellent sound staging.

A sound investment

Focal PS 165V

Focal proudly manufactures the PS 165V system in France.

Sweet tweeter

The PS 165V's aluminum tweeter sports Focal's inverted dome structure for wider dispersion and extended high-frequency response, giving you sparkling detail in the high notes. Three different mounting possibilities let you get creative with a custom installation and get hands-on with the stereo imaging in your car.

Flexibility

Each crossover network features 3-level tweeter control, and allows you to select three different crossover points. If space is an issue in your vehicle, Focal gives you the ability to split up the included crossover networks. You can mount a high-pass filter near each tweeter and a low-pass filter near each woofer, instead of having to mount one big crossover on each side of your vehicle. This system will handle up to 80 watts RMS, and you'll want to use an outboard amplifier to get the best possible performance from these speakers.

Installation note: You'll need a pair of our universal backstraps to install the tweeters in the factory locations.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Installed in front doors of 2005 Suburban. The woofer is in door and tweeters in A pillars and the 5.25" set in rear doors. I have them set up with a Audio Control DQXS feeding a Fosgate T400-4 bridged for the 6.5" woofers up front and a Fosgate T600-4 for the front tweets and rear components. I didn't use included crossovers the DQXS has front high and woofer control. These are great speakers and with them being over $200 off a great deal.

Pros: Price, Sound, power handling.

Cons: None

These speakers are everything I hoped they would be and more. I'm still tuning, but I actually like the tweeters on zero, not -3 or -6 as others have said. Big thanks to Mick (sales) and tech support for their help. Tiny word of caution: be careful not to bend the thin negative terminal if using a tight spade connector. You wouldn't want to do that too many times. In Focal's defense, other high end speaker manufacturers use a similar design.

Cons:

Clean and powerful

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Not sure what others were complaining about the tweeters, must have not properly tuned them. The sound on these is amazing! Crystal clear no matter how high the volume is. I powered two sets of these components with a JL Slash 300/4v3 amp in a 2016 jeep wrangler. Super low price and Crutchfield's customer service is unreal 5/5.

Pros: Clean sound all around

I've only had the mids installed since I had difficult time installing tweeters but I will get to that later and hopefully be able to update my review later but so far so good with the mids installed and cant wait to get my tweets installed.

Pros: Improved sound in the front. Looks amazing

Cons:

Great woofers and crossover, terrible tweeters

Anonymous from El Cerrito, CA on 1/30/2017

2005 Honda Civic
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This set produces very nice, balanced sound. The midrange woofer are probably close very best I've ever heard, and in terms of sound neutrality and dynamics, and sound imaging, they are superb. They produce tight kicks that you can feel and uncolored, smooth mids. Where these components fail is the tweeters. To say that the pure Aluminium tweeters are harsh is an understatement. It produces the kind of painful high pitches that you get when you drill into metal. These tweeters make my ears hurt after just 15 minutes if I leave everything default. There are, however, some ways to tame the tweeters. I put the crossover settings at -6 dB for the tweeters and set cutoff at 3.5 kHz. But even that was not enough to calm the tweeters down. I had to bring my EQ setting another 12 dB down after 12.5 kHz to get tolerable treble reproduction. I am thinking to place a piece of cloth in front of their grills to act as a low pass filter while attenuating the sound. If the cloth doesn't do it I'll return them for another set. It's a shame because the woofers are amazing.

Pros:

Cons:

Truely the spirit of sound.

Completely satisfied with my 90% focal system. PS130V, & 165V components, E25KX subwoofer, and an FPX 1.1000 and FPX 4.400 SQ amps. While piecing it together I was skeptical but the finished product is awesome. Wish Focal made receivers so I'd be 100%. The Sony is doing a great job though.

Pros: Everything

Cons: Focal receiver doesn't exist yet.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I ran these active off an Audio Control 2XS crossover and NVX 4 channel mini amplifier. The woofers work nicely with some EQ adjusting in the mid bass region, which is common in the car environment. The tweeters weren't up to my standards so I used some tweeters by Vifa for the highs and they sound unbelievable in comparison.

Pros: Comes with everything you need

Cons: Con for me as I only used the woofers from this set because I was in such a rush to get my wife's Van back on the road. Really wanted to use the SB Acoustics 6.5" woofers but these actually sound nice. The Focal tweeters sound meh and have a very high Fs limiting their use in 2-way systems.

1987 Toyota Supra
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Fantastic.... My 87 Toyota Supra is very difficult to get any good sound from an audio system with an audiophile ear with horrible resonances in the cabin. I went through many different speaker configurations. The Infinity Primus I was pretty happy with, but I wanted to get into the Focal world to see if I can improve further. These are perfect and I am permanently happy! Like any other components, you have to get the tweeter in the perfect location with the mid bass to keep a really smooth wonderful sound and keep out of phasing issues. Directly above the mid bass within vertical center and within 4" of mid driver makes the frequencies work great to blend with the mids. Cannot go wrong for the price to get such beautiful, rich acoustics. Running 50 watts to each of them from an Alpine amp and sounds incredible.

Pros: Review says it all. Placement of components are key.

Cons:

Bar none the best speakers I have ever listened to. Installed with dynamat on inner and outer skin of doors. Clean, clear and accurate reproduction with no noticeable resonant frequencies. Not even in the same ballpark as my old alpine type R speakers and I paid the same amount. You will not be disappointed.

Pros: Great sound, no harsh frequencies.

Cons: Price if you don't catch them on sale.

Great sounding. Very clear, hooked up to the front channels on my Rockford Fosgate Punch P400x4. I had to make custom brackets to fit my vehicle, but I knew this already thanks to Crutchfield's fit guide.

Pros: Awesome Sound, On Sale.

Cons: The tweeters are very harsh out of the box, but the crossovers have a 0, -3, and -6 decibel setting that will allow you to tone them down a bit to a comfortable level.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Some of the best sound for your money. Drivers still made in France, seems like Focal's entry level products are moving to china production. This level seems like the best way to get yourself into some french sound! I like that the crossovers can be split up and mounted in different locations. My MK7 VW has tweeters in the a-pillar, so separating the crossovers was a great advantage. They sound great running off the OEM head unit, but they really shine when paired with a light duty amp. This should really be pointed out so listeners get the BEST experience possible.

Pros: Individual crossovers Quality construction Clear Sound

Cons: some users may need better setup explanation of the crossover settings.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Great sound, beautifully made, audio presentation is definitely 'forward' but not overly aggressive, fatiguing or harsh (amp dependent, natch). Great midrange / midbass. Tweeter is certainly on the hotter side, worked better in my application (04 4runner) to keep them low, mounted behind factory grill concentrically with woofer. Much better alignment than in the OE upper door location. At some point I'll get around to building kickpanel enclosures.. =)

Pros: You get what you pay for

Cons: None really, not cheap but high value

Awesome speakers. I have an external amplifier connected to these and they sound amazing. I had the back the treble down a bit on my equalizer because the highs were overly represented. It's better to have too much than not enough. Amazing clarity, very happy with my purchase.

Pros: Outstanding Clarity Excellent stereo imaging Tight responsive bass

Cons: Tweeters are bit aggressive but sound great after minor adjustments

I've purchased three different component systems all ranging from $200-$400. These are by far the best components I've ever owned. I purchased them for a Ford ranger. I had to create brackets for them but it was totally worth it. The best quality sound I've ever had.

Pros: High definition, good price for high end product, aesthetically pleasing, different ways to mount the tweeters.

Cons: The instructions were not detailed enough. Without knowledge of ohm's law you are lost.

Pros: Crisp, clean sound.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Installed these in the stock locations, woofer down low tweeter up high in front of door handles. They are very smooth to listen to with no harshness normally associated with metal done tweeters like boston's. They don't have the bass the factory speakers did, but still the bass response is better than most 6.5's I've owned over the decades. But I'll have a sub soon so I care more about strong mid bass to blend in with the subs. And the mid bass is pretty good. I tell myself I'm gonna build an encloser behind them someday to really bring out that mid bass, prob never happen. I was hoping these would rival the my quart components I had way back in the day. Those were the most live sounding speakers I've ever owned and were an absolute joy to listen to, till they blew up on 50x2 watts rms. So far these sound like they are gonna surpass the quarts, and they look like they can handle 50 watts rms. In a nutshell, they sound amazing in my stock locations, great low and mid freq response and amazing mid and high frequency extention that is very enjoyable and never fatiguing. You can't go wrong

Pros: The dome tweeter sounds sounds amazing

Cons: they aren't free.

But was too broke to get them. well, I am not a rich man, but I happen to have enough to pick up these fine speakers, and I am glad I did. here is my system - -Pioneer AVH-X2700BS -Front door components Focal PS 165 - Rear door coaxial JL Audio C2-650x - Sub JL Audio 10TW3-D4 - AMP Alpine PDX-V9 5-Channel The Focals, with the help of the amp, are the cleanest speakers I have ever heard. I am not much of an expert, or review writer, but there is zero distortion at any sound level. Every sound that comes out of these speakers are clean and crisp. It is night and day from the factory system. As you can see, I kind of skimped on my head unit so i could put more money into the speakers and amp. And it paid off big time. I listen to mostly metal and reggae, and these perform beautifully.

Pros: Sounds crystal clear with no distortion

Cons: none

2011 Subaru Impreza WRX
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I've only had these installed for a few days, so take that into account. I installed these as the front speaker set of my 2011 WRX wagon. I was able to remove the tweeters from their housing by carefully scrapping off the gunk/glue they used to hold it in place. It took a few min, but the tweeter will pop out. The tweeter fit the diameter of the stock housing, so I used some DAP putty gum glue to hold it in place. I then put some Dynamat to mold it in place and put the back mounting back in place. It seems to have worked fairly well. I installed the woofers with the the 6.5" x 3" Boommat. I believe the 6.75" will be too large, but it may vary. I had multiple layers to make it clear the window: door>Dynamat>foam insulation>custom mounting bracket>Boommat>speaker. I did cut some small holes on the bottom of the Boommat. There seems to be a lot of debate over this, but I did it anyways... The xovers were kindof a pain, but not Focals fault. They are actually smaller than they look, but I still had to find where to mount them on the door. I was able to fit both of them around the back center of the front door. There is an area by your elbow when driving; however, I put Dynamat on my door, so I was able to use industrial velcro and some Dynamat tape (great stuff) to hold it down. I wasn't able to lock them together. Advice. For WRX owners, just use the wire harness and don't make the mistake of buying large gauge wires. Not worth it. U

Pros: -High quality build and materials -Sounds great

Cons: -Removing tweeter from housing -Not really a con, but they are almost too much for my whimpy compact sub...

Pros: Can't do much better than Focal for the price. Well made and very high quality.

Cons: Make sure you buy them from Crutchfield or another authorized Focal dealer instead of Ebay, it's very easy to find fakes out there.

Too bad these speakers are behind the doors, they look like works of art. The sound quality is fantastic. I just hooked them up to my factory stereo. With an amp, you could probably entertain the entire neighborhood.

Pros: Crisp, full sound on the factory stereo

Cons: Two somewhat large crossovers to install in each door. Be prepared to exercise a little yankee ingenuity. But I'm sure having two crossovers is one reason the sound is so great.

These speakers have AMAZING sound quality! The tweeters are crisp and precise. I realize the Focal PS165V are a little spendy... However they are worth every penny!! I would recommend these to anyone. This is my second set (my wife refuses to allow me to remove the others from our other car.. She is a fan also). I have tried Infinity (Perfects), Boston Accoustic's, And several other brands and nothing compares. 5 Stars!! Try these, you will not be disappointed (of course you will need an amp to really appreciate these).

Pros: Sound, Quality, tweeter mounting options, nice and small crossover, Dudu mention you amazing these sound??

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I had just installed a new Alpine head unit and 4 kicker coaxials in my Silverado. The sound I was looking for just wasn't there even after adding a subwoofer. I purchased the focals hoping it would kick up the mid base and wow did they ever. Great sound even with the head unit set at flat. I'm tempted to buy some focal coaxials for the back speakers but it sounds pretty darn good with the kickers back there.

Pros: Great sound lows mids and highs. Love the adjustments on the tweeter crossovers so you can set the highs just where you like them.

Cons: Wish the crossovers came in single unit at least for my install.

Just installed these on my son's 2009 Rav 4. Sound quality is exceptional and the deal at Crutchfield, under $200, was amazing. Wife was rocking it out in minutes. Installation of woofer straight forward, tweeter is a bit tougher on a Rav4...but a hot glue gun and little carving with my dremel made it all worth it.

Pros: Sound Quality...........Bass is Amazing!!! Crutchfield free ad ons made it alot easier to install than a big box purchase i made for rear speakers last week

Cons: Focal instructions were a bit 'lacking', but there was enough info online to figure it quickly.

These are the best sounding car speakers I have owned. They make whatever artist ur listening to come alive and sound as if they're right there performing live. A little more work involved hooking them up because of the dual crossovers, but no big deal. Are they pricey at $400? Heck yeah. Are they worth it? Heck yeah! Def recommend dynamatting doors with these unless u think vibrations add to ur music.

Pros: Incredible sound. Very clear, natural, and loud.

Cons: Expensive. A little concerned with the limited power handling compared to my previous speakers, but hopefully won't be an issue.

Woofer

Polyglass Cone: The woofer cone has a cellulose pulp base and is coated with a uniform deposit of hollow glass microballs. The addition of the Polyglass layer significantly increases the cone's rigidity without adding much weight. This combination takes advantage of the accuracy and neutrality of the hard outer surface, but maintains the superior damping characteristics of the cellulose pulp.

Surround: The rubber surround is resistant to ultraviolet rays, temperature extremes, and humidity to add to the speaker's reliability and longevity.

Phase Plug: The bullet-shaped phase plug in the center of the woofer ensures a smooth, flat off-axis frequency response by preventing the high frequency sound waves emanating from one side of the cone from interfering with sound waves from the other side of the cone.

Aluminum Basket: The woofer features a non-magnetic cast aluminum basket.

Size Classification Note: Some manufacturers, including Focal, call this size speaker a 6-1/2". Because it requires a larger cutout than a standard 6-1/2" speaker, Crutchfield has traditionally referred to this size woofer as a 6-3/4". Please refer to the Crutchfield Vehicle Selector to confirm fit in your vehicle.

Tweeter

Inverted Dome Tweeter: The tweeter is an inverted aluminum dome, producing a broad sound stage. The tweeter has a Neodymium magnet to provide a powerful magnetic field for the voice coil, while still maintaining the tweeter's compact dimensions.

Mounting Options: The tweeters include two types of surface mount housings, one low profile and one angled:

Flush MountLow Profile Surface MountAngled Surface Mount
Mounting Height0.282"0.895"1.945"
Mounting Depth0.542"0.875" (screw depth)0.3" (screw depth)
Frame Diameter1.920"N/AN/A
Cutout Diameter1.682"N/AN/A
WidthN/A1.920"1.920"
Surface DepthN/A1.920"2.875"

Crossover

Crossovers: Individual crossovers are included for each woofer and each tweeter. The crossovers can be mounted separately, docked in pairs, or all four crossovers docked together and mounted as one unit. The crossover inputs and outputs are screw terminals and will accept bare wire or spade connectors up to 0.3" wide. Because the woofer and tweeter crossovers are separate, and have separate inputs, the system can be bi-amped. The woofer crossover point is 3.5 kHz, all the crossover slopes are 6 dB/octave, and the tweeter crossovers offer two adjustments:

  • Tweeter Attenuation: set the tweeter output to -6dB, -3dB, or 0dB (no attenuation)
  • Tweeter Crossover Point: the tweeter crossovers also offer three crossover point options; 4 kHz, 4.5 kHz, and 5 kHz

Crossover Dimensions:

  • Length: 4"
  • Height: 1-1/4"
  • Width:
    • Individual: 2"
    • Pair: 4"
    • All four: 8"

Why did you buy this?

Half off couldn't pass it up[ Joseph  Mar 03, 2017 ]

Amazing sound quality. Super detailed sound.[ Arturo  Dec 22, 2016 ]
Heard good things about them, and they were on sale.. Research suggested these were a good bargain at this price.. Love the bi-ampabilty of them..[ MARC C  Dec 21, 2016 ]
Focal.... no need to say more[ Steven  Dec 04, 2016 ]
What's not to love about Focal? Ok, admittedly, the price is a bit to digest. I think to describe Focal as less than phononemal would be, well, disrespectful. High brow? Perhaps. But couldnt we all use a little of that in our lives. We work freakin' HARD for Uncle Sam. Why not practice self-indulgence every once in a great while. I've been working 55-60 hour was for the last 11 months, I don't think I could think of anything of better quality nor a better roi with which to celebrate![ Randy  Nov 05, 2016 ]
I read the review on Crutchfield page and I decided to buy my first hi fidelity speakers. Another aspect that helped me in my decision it was the price, Crutchfield tremendous discount.[ Angel M. Ruiz  Oct 16, 2016 ]
Great sounding speaker for the price. Heard much higher end speakers next to them and the Focal blows them way in comparison!![ David  Oct 15, 2016 ]
Sound and build quality. These were on a steep discount so I jumped on them.[ Daniel  Oct 13, 2016 ]

I am looking for something well built and different than what you find on the shelf or every other car. Focal ftw[ Tim  Jul 29, 2016 ]
Great sound and quality especially with an open box buy! Couldn't see if the V1 was worth the extra money.[ William  Jul 25, 2016 ]
Great value for such a great performing product.[ Terry  Jun 30, 2016 ]
Made in 1st world country, amazing sound.[ TROY  Jun 08, 2016 ]
nice speaker, love it[ vuong  May 28, 2016 ]
HAVE USED FOCAL DRIVERS IN HOME SPEAKERS I HAVE BUILT , PRICE REDUCTION[ JOE  May 22, 2016 ]
Sound[ John  May 13, 2016 ]
First off they're Focals, which is why I chose them. This model specifically are made in China. The Focal Performance PS 165V1s are the next gen ones that were Made in France. For my listening needs, I didn't really mind that these were made in China given that they were heavily discounted. For my listening needs, these would suffice + the peace of mind of Crutchfield and manufacturer's warranty, I decided to order them.[ Ajay  May 07, 2016 ]
it was the best model for the same price as the lower models. best value for the money[ Anthony  Apr 19, 2016 ]
They are awesome sounding speakers and I'm adding them to a 4 speaker system that has a pair of Focals already.[ Guest  Apr 14, 2016 ]
Owned Focal speakers before and they are the best![ Richard  Apr 06, 2016 ]
Great product at a great price[ Justin  Mar 19, 2016 ]
Quality., focals reputation for having the best speakers. Crutchfields price was just a little more than unauthorized dealers on ebay. It's always worry free with crutchfield.[ R  Mar 04, 2016 ]
Great speakers and $150 bucks off regular price.[ EDWARD  Mar 03, 2016 ]
I've used Focal in previous installs, so i'm comfortable with returning to them. I'm really looking forward to these too.[ Dustin  Feb 24, 2016 ]
I've heard them before[ DUANE  Feb 17, 2016 ]
I bought these because I've heard great things about Focal and they were a good deal.[ Nicholas  Feb 09, 2016 ]
I have had many pairs of Focal components, they always meet and usually exceed my needs in a high-end quality component. The sale price was definitely a factor.[ Jason  Feb 04, 2016 ]
I have been researching Focal speakers and these offer the most bang for the buck. Crutchfield is one of the few places where you can find high-quality speakers.[ William  Jan 30, 2016 ]
Great reviews, discounted price.[ JONATHAN  Dec 27, 2015 ]
Excellent Speakers for a great price. The guide for selecting the correct installantion parts was a big help.[ Larry  Dec 11, 2015 ]

This will depend largely on your vehicle. For details on installation please contact an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. They will be able to pull up your vehicle and give you the details on what you will need for an installation.[ Kenny  Feb 13, 2017 ]  Staff
If you drive the woofer separately from the tweeter, the amp will likely see only 2ohms for each speaker. In this case, your amp's ratings will be much higher, and you stand a good change of blowing out your speakers. I'm driving these speakers with a much smaller amp (40 watts for each woofer/tweeter pair) and they sound great. These speakers are really meant to be driven as a pair. If you really want more power for each pair, I would look to see if you can bridge two amp channels together, and then use the bridged pair to drive a woofer/tweeter pair. You would still need to be careful not to overdrive the speakers.[ Stephen  Dec 05, 2016 ]
Since it's a component the 80wt amp will be perfect for it.[ Nicole  Dec 03, 2016 ]

Thanks for your question. For information on comparing two or more models I would recommend reaching out to an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. They will be able to help determine the differences and help you make the best choice for your system and your budget.[ Kenny  Aug 19, 2016 ]  Staff
Thanks for your question. Really both classifications are somewhat correct. 6 3/4 speakers are considered an oversized 6 1/2 based on how it fits most vehicles. Check out the link below, it's a really good article that goes into more depth. Hope that helps.http://www.crutchfield.com/learn/blogs/av_tips/archive/2008/11/14/6-1-2-quot-versus-6-3-4-quot-car-speakers.aspx?g=52100 [ Kenny  Jul 16, 2016 ]  Staff
Combined ???? [ RON  Jun 28, 2016 ]
The rms is for the woofer I found this out by recently blowing both tweeters they handled it for about 4 months of hard use but ended up giving I ran them on a 100 watt amp as well so they are probably around 100w max[ Reed  Jun 28, 2016 ]
Each speaker combo, being one woofer and one tweeter is 80 watts rms[ Tamir  Jun 28, 2016 ]
All Expert PS series & above are made in France. Any series below that are made in China. Even though the lower series are made in China, they are of very good quality & sound good also.[ Terry  Sep 10, 2016 ]
Country of origin is France.[ Kenny  May 21, 2016 ]  Staff

I have the 165v in front & the 165ac in the rear of F150 super crew. Both sound great. I bought the 165v for the higher performance, but am amazed how good the 165ac sounds. And the 165as is the components in line with the 165ac & sounds a little above that. So either set would be a great choice. & 165v are at a great deal right now.[ Terry  Sep 10, 2016 ]

The positive is standard size, but the negative is small. I used standard 12g female wire connectors. If you keep it centered on the negative, it will still fit just a little snug & solder it & heat shrink it, & you'll be fine. I used stinger 12g through out my truck. & don't listen to the others who say it's too big. 12g is great wire.[ Terry  Jan 26, 2016 ]
I don't think the human ear could hear the difference in sound between using 16 gauge which fits perfect and 12 gauge. But if you absolutely want to use 12 gauge, you could purchase pin connectors that would fit.[ MICHAEL  Jan 10, 2016 ]
Honestly 12 gauge is a little to big for these speakers. Soldering would be the only method of connecting to the speakers with that size gauge. I suggest going with 16 gauge which should be plenty for the speakers.[ Timothy  Jan 10, 2016 ]
Think placement makes a difference as well. I have the rear set in my wrangler set both on the low setting as they are right at my ears and the fronts both on the middle setting. Both switches.[ Matthew  Dec 07, 2015 ]
I used the middle setting on both crossovers and I'm very happy with the sound.[ luis  Dec 02, 2015 ]
I cannot answer this question, as I've not been yet able to install the speakers. They LOOK like they will sound good, however.[ Darell Katz  Dec 02, 2015 ]
the tweeters got the outer shell but that can be remove and mounts pretty flat installed in my Tahoe and sound great.[ Mark  Nov 12, 2015 ]
Hey Doug the diameter of the tweeter without the case for surface mounting is 1.7 inches exactly.[ Alexander  Nov 10, 2015 ]
I used a 1-11/16 inch hole saw, and they are a nice fit. They pressed in by hand, and have yet to fall out.[ Adam  Nov 10, 2015 ]
I had a shop install them into the factory setup, took a while with a dremel they said but I didn't observe.[ RON  Nov 10, 2015 ]
You can choose to either flush or surface mount them.[ MICHAEL  Jul 01, 2015 ]
Tweeters can be mounted with or without the pod. I removed them from the pod and mounted where the stock tweeters were, with a little modification to the stock housing.[ David Von  Jun 30, 2015 ]
Yes, they can be flush mounted. They come separated from the pod and include a retaiining ring that can be used to flush mount.[ gregory  Jun 30, 2015 ]
