Get connected

The MC600B includes an in-line multi-function remote control to regulate the sound going to the two speakers. The package includes adjustable brackets that mount the streamlined speaker pods to a handlebar or rail. You can connect your media player to the system's 1/8-inch input jack or through Bluetooth, and the system's 800-watt amp will rock the great outdoors. And the system's reception range is up to 33 feet, so you can keep the music playing even when you're not right next to the system.

Excellent system. Just installed on my 2006 sabre 1100. relatively easy to install. Sound great even at highway speeds

Decent speakers for the money

Shane from Hoosick falls , Ny on 7/16/2016

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Got these bluetooth speakers for my 2016 indian chief vintage motorcycle. Chrome on speakers was good quality and the hardware was decent as well. Hook up was easy.powered up. Sound quality was good and was loud.. driving down the road at 60 -80 mph. You can hear it fine. If you want a decent pair of inexpensive speakers these will do the job.

Pros: Loud, easy install. Bluetooth connectivity quick and easy.

Cons: Wish it had more bass.

Ok but not good

Richard T from Picayune Ms, on 7/13/2016

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Install was simple but kinda cheap and too simple. The brackets are to small for the newer Harley's so some work has to be done to them. The plugs on the harness are really cheaply made and are not sealed. Pairing is simple to the Bluetooth. At highway speeds you can hear the music but the speakers pop a lot at high volume even after a bass reducer is used. I know you get what you pay for. It's not bad but not good

Cons:

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Haven't mounted the speakers yet because they didn't come with a combination of smaller or larger bar clamps to install on the bike so I have to purchase additional hardware to make the installation complete.

Pros:

Cons: Have to purchase additional hardware to mount the speakers.

Disappointed

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I was disappointed in this system. It wasn't nearly as loud as the MC400. I guess because the speakers are smaller. The BT was sporadic and oft times skipped even though less than a foot from my phone. Get the 400!

Pros:

Cons:

Is what it is.

Is what it is. Everything they said it was and actually a little more. Sounds great even at 80 MPH with loud pipes and all. Definitely worth the money.

Pros: Easy set up/install. Looks great.

Cons: None yet. .lol

Bought the Boss Audio MC600B from Crutchfield to install on my HD 2004 Road King. I installed last weekend and it took me about 2 hrs. Very easy to install. Ride to work on I-95 at 70 to 80 mph. Listened to Queen. Metallica and others at that speed and performs like a champ. Now I do have a windshield so maybe that helps but I would recommend this product to anyone looking. You may email me with any questions on install or performance. jarchitzelatverizondotcom

Pros: Very very good sound system. Fairly easy to install. Quality components.

Cons: Instructions are a bit confusing

Great power, good small speakers, plenty of volume and easy install

Pros: Install, size, power

Cons: Cord from amp to Bluetooth controller needs to be longer.

Dang it's loud

Tim from Texas on 4/10/2015

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Ok, I installed this in 30 minutes on my Harley Softail. I was gonna put everything in my windshield pouch but decided to do it right. I put the amp in the saddlebag, and ran the wires under the tank. This bad boy is loud! I have Vance and Hines Short Shot pipes which are very loud and have no problem hearing the music. I actually watch for cops because I think I might get a ticket for how loud this thing is! Anyway I read that guy's review where the amp went out after the 6th time he used it. Well Crutchfield offers the same warranty as Boss so if that happens to me I expect they will replace the amp. I love this thing! When I'm cruising down the road blasting Stevie Ray Vaughn- The Sky is Cryin...I feel like guys that pay $500 for a similar system are cryin.

Pros: Good customer service, Easy install, Loud!

Cons: Wish the hardwire on the Bluetooth controller was unpluggable. It will distort at full volume.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

this item is great I had it on bike for weeks now pushing it to see when will it fail and it hasn't its handled the cold and the heat from the motor no problem the Bluetooth stays synced and the sound is great I keep finding myself turning it down this thing is loud. only one issue the wiring harness was to short but I found a easy fix I went to microcenter and purchased 2 (6) pin Epci cables they fit the wiring harness perfectly so I didn't have to cut any wires and that extended the cable to where I needed it to reach worked like a factory connection

Pros: easy install looks and sounds great

Cons: wires for the whole system should be longer so you can route wires properly.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Sound quality...very pleased. Able to hear nicely doing 70+. I have a windshield too.

Pros: Build quality Excellent. Ease of pairing to iPod and Samsung s$ phone through Bluetooth. For those that would feel it's quiet at 70+, it would have to literally be at a deafening level to overcome wind noise. Sitting in the driveway, you cannot turn up to full....too loud. That is the same volume while riding. The wind noise is just that loud. Very happy with purchase. Could have bought it cheaper elsewhere online but glad I didn't. I've heard others say their set wasn't worth it either.

Cons: Though directions could be much better, was able to figure out. There's an extra pigtail connector that is included that does not apply and it threw me off.

Nice Bluetooth audio system for your bike.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I installed this Boss Bluetooth two speaker audio system on my Honda VTX 1300 motorcycle. I am very happy with this product I think that it's a great bargain for the price. For what was paid I didn't expect the sound you would get from something with a much higher price tag. As expected certainly won't reproduce the low notes I usually put my iPhone on base reducer and can get more than enough sound at highway speeds with my windshield on and since the amplifier is mounted on the windshield bag I never run without the windshield. My wife wears a fullface helmet and can still hear just fine. I waited three weeks before reviewing it to make sure I didn't experience anything like the previous reviewer did and The amp doesn't seem to get overly hot (with it being 85-80 out) and I would expect for it to last a long time.

Pros: Great price, plenty of volume, Bluetooth rocks!

Cons: None

Sounded great until the amp stopped working after several days of use. Maybe it was a defective one. Other than that I would of been ok with the kit.

Pros: loud, Bluetooth feature

Cons: didn't last

Features

Amplifier Inputs: The amp has two inputs, a male 3.5mm mini-plug on the 58" cable attached to the control box and wireless Bluetooth.

Speaker Mounting: The speakers are designed to mount to a round tube using the adjustable clamps. Spacers are included for use with tubes from 7/8" to 1-3/8" (approximately). The speakers can still swivel almost 360°.

Control Box: The control box is typically mounted to the handlebars using the included bracket. (The mounting bracket for the control box is just like the speaker mounting brackets.) Once paired with a Bluetooth device, the control functions are play/pause, skip to the next track, return to the previous track, volume up, and volume down. Only the volume buttons are active when the source is connected to the 3.5mm input.

Note: Due to the differences in Bluetooth technology, some Bluetooth enabled devices may be incompatible, or may not support all the control box commands.

Wiring: Each speaker has an attached 41" input wire, terminated with inserts that plug into the Molex plug on the power/ground wire (the end of the wire that connects to the amplifier). A 20" long bundle of wires attached to the amp is terminated with the mate to the power/ground wire Molex. A 72" cable attached to the amp plugs into an 8" cable attached to the control box.

I bought my system to plug into my Harley wiring it simply connects between the wire connectors and the battery's terminals. [ Larry  Apr 21, 2017 ]
I believe they are on 4 ohm. They are quiet loud for the price. They are audible up to 55-60 on a motorcycle worth out a faring [ Michael  Sep 02, 2015 ]
The speakers blew out the first time I used it. Unbeleivable [ Chris  Sep 02, 2015 ]
mine came with a power adapter for the Harley. it connects inline under the seat for the rear lighting [ MARK  Jul 24, 2014 ]
It is powered from the vehicle battery. Be careful with the polarity (Plus to plus, negative to negative) Ken Birnbaum [ KEN J  Jul 23, 2014 ]
I have mine on my motorcycle so its connected directly to the battery and I put in a recommended switch to completely turn off power when not in use or it drains the battery. [ Dawn  Jul 22, 2014 ]
12v wired from your vehicle or motorcycle [ Oneal  Jul 22, 2014 ]
It is wired to the vehicle's 12 Volt system. [ Tony  Jul 22, 2014 ]
The amplifier is powered by the vehicle's battery. I have it hard wired to my motorcycle battery terminals instead of using some type of fuse relay. [ Andrew Brian  Jul 22, 2014 ]
Its wired to the vehicle. Very easy installation. I used a 10 amp add-a-circuit from the fuse box and ran a separate relay. The signal must be switched with ignition because there is no remote turn on wire or switch. [ justin  Jul 22, 2014 ]
It needs to be connected to a switched 12v source in your vehicle. [ John  Jul 22, 2014 ]
Wires to your vehicles power [ CHARLES  Jul 22, 2014 ]
Wired to the battery of the vehicle [ Nicholas  Jul 22, 2014 ]
Wired to 12v system. [ Tara  Jul 22, 2014 ]
I wired mine to the fuse block to an open block. So when you turn the key, the system turns on. The ground would go to a strong ground on the bike. [ Mark  Jul 22, 2014 ]
Diameter [ Howie  May 17, 2014 ]
What size bars will they fit? [ Mark  May 17, 2014 ]
Sounds great. But you get the loudest sound thru 3.5mm wire versus bluetooth but works great either way. Awesome system. [ ELIEZER  May 06, 2014 ]
