Bold styling keeps up with performance

JVC's DRVN Series car amplifiers are all about power… with style. These amps feature aggressive looks, strong value, and plenty of power packed into a rugged housing. The DRVN KS-AX3204 4-channel amplifier, for example, can power your sound system with 60 watts RMS for each of your front and rear speakers. And this JVC doubles as a bass amp — you can put the KS-AX3204 into 2-channel mode and run a pair of subwoofers with 150 watts RMS each.

Features

CEA-2006 Compliant: CEA-2006 is a system of testing and measurement methods for mobile audio amplifiers. This voluntary standard advocates a uniform method for measuring an amplifier's RMS power output and signal-to-noise ratio. The criteria for measuring power uses a DC input voltage of 14.4 volts and the RMS power output is measured with 1% or less Total Harmonic Distortion plus noise (THD+N) over a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz (for full range amplifiers). Signal-to-Noise ratio is measured in weighted absolute decibels (dBA) at a reference of 1 watt into 4Ω. CEA-2006 allows consumers to compare car amplifiers and receivers on an equal basis. Using CEA-2006 criteria, the JVC KS-AX3204 is rated as follows:

  • Power Output:
    • 4Ω: 60 watts x 4-channels
    • 2Ω: 90 watts x 4-channels
    • Bridged: 150 watts x 2-channels (into 4Ω)
  • Signal to Noise Ratio: 76 dBA

Crossover: The front and rear sections of the amplifier have independent crossovers. Each has a 12 dB/octave slope and can be set to high-pass with a crossover point of 150 Hz, off (full range), or low-pass with a crossover point of 80 Hz.

Power Connections: The power and ground terminals are nickel-plated screw terminals. They will accept spade connectors or ring terminals up to 0.5" wide. The remote turn-on terminal will accept a spade connector or ring terminal up to 0.35" wide.

Speaker Connections: The speaker outputs are also nickel-plated screw terminals and will accept spade connectors or ring terminals up to 0.35" wide.

Speaker Level Input: Two speaker level input harnesses are included (front and rear), making it easier to add an amplifier to a factory radio or to a receiver with no preamp outputs.

Q
Can I use this to power front left and right door component Spkrs and a bridged mono sub in the back at the same time?

Yes you can I have bought the same one and I am powering all for speakers plus my 12" kicker comp. It has been great

I have this amp powering my front left/right door speakers and also 2 tweeters. Sounds awesome. I have a mono amp powering my single 12 inch sub. The rca preout from head unit goes to mono amp for sub. I have the front speakers and tweeters hooked to the high-level (speaker) inputs on this jvc. Remember you do not have to hook up negative speaker wire from head unit, just run the positives to amps harness and then use a chassis ground. Simple. Now the only the thing about your question I don't feel comfortable answering is you referring to a mono amp as being bridged. I've never heard of that and my understanding is that mono stands for one channel. So sorry I can't actually answer your question but that 4 channel jvc amp is great for the price. Please keep in mind that this amp is huge. It is twice the size of my kicker mono amp. You will need plenty of room.

Yes, that is how it was used in the last install I did.
