Many receivers let you select different illumination colors. JVC's KD-R750 CD receiver offers the capability of selecting colors for three separate zones on the face, so you can personalize the receiver's looks to match your style. You can also personalize the sound to match your taste, by making adjustments to the highs, mids, and lows with the 3-band parametric EQ, and then saving your favorite tone curves with the two user presets. You'll find two sets of preamp outputs for connecting amps — if you're adding a sub, you can switch the rear preamp outputs to subwoofer mode, then use the subwoofer level control for on-the-fly changes.
The KD-R750 CD receiver puts command of your music at your fingertips. You can use the handy front-panel USB port to access and control your iPod® or iPhone® playlists, or to play music from many Android™ phones using JVC's Music Control app. Streaming music fans are in luck — when you connect your iPhone, you can control Pandora® or iHeartRadio from the receiver. And the USB input supports multiple memory devices connected through a USB hub, too. The KD-R750 also includes a front auxiliary input for a Dock-and-Play satellite radio or another sound source.
Choose your colors for the controls, display, and inputs.
JVC lets you experience the safety and convenience of hands-free calling by adding their Bluetooth® adapter to the KD-R750. You can keep both hands free and concentrate on your driving when you're taking a call, or enjoy streaming music from a compatible devices straight into the JVC without the hassles of plugs and cables.
In most vehicles, you can use an adapter (not included) to connect your vehicle's steering wheel controls to this JVC stereo. Connect a few wires, then program the adapter for your particular car and the receiver, and you'll retain the convenience of your steering wheel controls.
Note: If you're going to use your iPod with this receiver, be sure to check "Details" for specific iPod model compatibility with this receiver.

Really good receiver for the price
Pros: Sounds great , looks cool , easy install
Cons: Setup and operation could be easier and better explained in guide
Awsome radio fit my car just right
Pros: Make the car Louder, lots of more stetting
I had a local audio shop install this into my jeep wrangler for $60 and it sounds great. I did not have to replace the speakers, which was nice.
Pros: Sounds great, easy to use for my Iphone
This deck is perfect for my daughters Altima.
Pros: Love the iphone connectivity.
Cons: The menus system takes a little getting used to.
I really like this product! The sound is awesome, the screen display is awesome, it's a awesome product! I was so stoked that I could play my cds and plug in my ipod into either the usb port or the using an aux cable. Super easy to install, we didn't even follow the directions. We connected the wires all together first before actually plugging anything into the vehicle, no hassle with the battery.
I like this deck because of the USB and aux port in the front. You can change the colors to a wide variety of different colors.
Pros: USB, aux, nice sound in my Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Cons: Sadly with this day and age you would think that the usb would sync up to my android but it doesn't. Sometimes at night the lights are too bright on the face of the deck even in night mode, but you can change the colors to various colors that are easy on the eyes. Interface menu should have a back button (maybe I haven't found it yet) but if you need to go back in the menu you have to start all over again.
Repleced radio in a 1998 nissan Great system for the money. Lot's of fun features. The installation was easy. VERY GOOD FOR @ REPLACEMENT
Pros: VERY CLEAR SOUND FUN RADIO
Cons: Nothing I can think of
This is my 3rd JVC, they tend to give you lots of features for the money. The styling and sound are great. I don't care for the tactile feel of the buttons, very rough and uninviting.
Pros: Good sound, USB, different colored lights in faceplate. This receiver still takes cd's. The radio reception fairly strong.
Cons: Poor tactile feels of switches.
Great system for the money. Lot's of fun features. The installation was easy.
Pros: The fun playing with all the color combinations.
Cons: The fun playing with all the color combinations.
small in size , but delivers huge. I can't beat the price. something affordable that sounds so good
Pros: I love it
Cons: there are none
The installation was very easy. The stereo itself is very good for the price. The front USB and Aux work great especially for older ipod touches. The sound from my ipod can sound as if in a "tunnel" but could be the recording of the song and itunes. The radio puts out sound from FM channels very clear. Overall, this stereo is a great buy and might consider one for my Nissan.
This unit looks great and is easy to install and operate but I am really disappointed with the sound quality. It sounds about the same as the factory unit. I added new Kenwoods and it still is very average. The display is invisible during the day.
Pros: It looks fantastic at night and has all kinds of bells and whistles to adjust the various modes. They did not really help produce a quality sound though despite a significant amount of experimentation. Crutchfield customer service and MasterSheets are awesome. Had no problems with installation at all.
Cons: Faint display despite adjusting brightness to the highest setting. Average sound quality. Pretty disappointed. I feel like I invested in an upgrade and stayed with a similar or lower level of performance than the factory model.
This jvc has the best front end in it that I have in a long time,it will pickup 100miles fm.
Pros: all pros no cons
Just Great I love the color display , it sounds great , very happy.
Pros: Power sound A+++
I have bought a couple JVC units recently and learned two things quickly: RMS power is solid, and sound clarity is great. Crutchfield ran this on sale, and my wife wanted it because the faceplate colors are adjustable. I bought it because I knew the RMS power and clarity (and an awesome FM tuner) were in it. I installed it in her Cavalier and replaced the rear 6x9's, and wow... the soundstage so far is clear and POWERFUL as all get out. The highs are crisp. The mids are clear. The lows get low, and louder than I ever would have expected. But it is a very clean sound, and a no-nonsense unit with extras. If you do not want to run an amp to your door/panel speakers and want a strong unit that delivers crisp sound options, and have 6x9's, buy this unit. Awesome output!
Pros: Sound quality, Volume, price
Awesome stereo for the money, plays everything I need. I put this in my 93 ford f150 truck with install kit in about 20 minutes. everything went smooth, thanks to the easy and detailed instructions/ wiring harness made it a direct plug in and use very nice.

When set for subwoofer, the outputs are non-fading.Subwoofer Controls: When the unit's Rear/SW preamp output is set to Subwoofer, you can set the cutoff frequency of the low-pass filter at 55Hz, 85Hz, or 120Hz. Additionally, there is a User preset, allowing you to individually adjust the intensity of Red, Green, and Blue from 0 to 31; resulting in approximately 30,000 custom color options. You can choose to use the same color for all 3 Zones, or use a different color for each separate Zone.
Lighting Effects + Color Guide: You can select a preset color change pattern/speed for all 3 Zones (Zone 1, Display Zone, and Zone 2). I'm currently using a Sony so no does not have to be JVC [ Heather Sep 30, 2014 ]
Any 4 channel amp will work [ STEPHEN Sep 30, 2014 ]
This thing has preamp plugins but those days of me bumpin ThreeSixMafia "Stay Fly" have passed me by. =) I just have it stock with the speakers that my Expedition came with. But if you are gonna buy this radio, spend a few extra bucks... about 30 bucks and get the next version up with Bluetooth. Currently I thought this was like the one I was telling you to get and did not confirm the Bluetooth option. Now i have to use a 1/4 male to make plug to get the beats from my phone to my radio. Tough little radio though! Nice colors and a usb connection in the front. You will love this little radio. But remember... No Bluetooth. Ask them to send you all the attachments you need by telling them your type of amp. They send it with your kit. Easy to install when they give you all the things you need. Good luck and happy bumpin! [ latin625 Sep 30, 2014 ]
I have an android and love it. Note: You must use a 1/4 male to male plug to get the music from your phone to your radio. Spend a few extra dollars and get the Bluetooth version. Awesome sound from this radio and the colors are cool! [ latin625 Sep 30, 2014 ]
Just ask the experts on Crutchfield. [ Nelson Sep 18, 2014 ]
you might need a kit to take up some of the space or if an older car or truck with the old 2 knob style you will have to cut to fit I just did it in my 69 elcamino [ LARRY R Aug 02, 2014 ]
No, you just have to drill 4 holes in the surrounding radio frame. It's very simple, and looks great. They give you everything you need to do it. [ BRYAN Jul 27, 2014 ]
Steve, I don't really know what to say to u. I have the same unit & I have no problems. My unit works great. I had an amp & a sub installed & my system rocks!! [ LLOYD KELVIN Jul 13, 2014 ]
I had the same tinny issue but attributed that to my wife's stock 95 camry speakers. As for the brightness issue it may be defective. I didn't have that issue at all. Very visible. Hope this helps. Let me know if any other issues I can help with [ STEPHEN Jul 12, 2014 ]
I have no idea. Sorry. [ Becky Jun 30, 2014 ]
I am sure you can use it for a boat, but it is not a marine unit. Very nice though. Only con I have against it, is that it should have been Bluetooth capable (no bluetooth option). Currently with this model you need a Male to male 1/4 jack to make the connection to any external devices like a phone or tablet. But very nice radio. [ latin625 Jun 30, 2014 ]
No [ Thacher Jun 29, 2014 ]
I dont think so... Ive seen marine radios and they are a lot different than this. In my opinion, it would be a bad idea to install this on a boat. [ Peter Jun 29, 2014 ]
I do no think so man [ Caleb Jun 29, 2014 ]
For details on fit or installation please contact an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. They will be able to pull up your vehicle and give you the details on if this will fit and what you will need for an installation in your vehicle. [ Krissy May 26, 2014 ] Staff
it does play easily and well. [ steve t Jul 07, 2014 ]
Yes it will. Charging via USB is pretty easy, the bigger question is determining whether you can play your smartphone's music through your USB easily. I'm still working on this one. [ Greg May 19, 2014 ]
Yes it should, the phone itself figures out if the usb it connects too can supply adequete power. Assuming your phone is all good, it should charge while connected. [ TIMOTHY May 17, 2014 ]
I don't really know , but I don't think it will ask the experts on Crutchfield [ Nelson May 15, 2014 ]
I have used the JVC with my iPhone once. It appeared to charge the phone while in use. [ Steven May 15, 2014 ]
Unfortunately we have not tried the stereo with the phone charging so we are unable to answer the question. [ Becky May 15, 2014 ]
It seems to charge the phone, yes. My wife uses that port - I drive the car. I told her I specifically chose a stereo like this for that feature, and she didn't say that it DIDN'T work, so I guess it does charge her iPhone. [ RANDY May 15, 2014 ]
Yes, I have an iphone, which can be finicky with some chargers. When its plugged into the usb, it charges as fast if not faster than a standard car charger. [ Peter May 15, 2014 ]
Yes if you plug the USB in it will charge your phone I have the same stereo and it charges just fine [ Caleb May 15, 2014 ]
