Our take on the Infinity Reference 6432cf

Rely on Infinity to revitalize the sound in your car. Replace your tired-out, old factory speakers with Reference Series full-range speakers that'll play your music louder and better.

Rely on Infinity to revitalize the sound in your car. Replace your tired-out, old factory speakers with Reference Series full-range speakers that'll play your music louder and better.

Infinity Reference 6432cf 4"x6" speakers feature a Plus One+ woofer design that packs more surface area into the cone so you get more low-frequency punch. Large textile dome tweeters project smooth, clean highs, and their large voice coils allow for high power-handling. Grilles are not included — factory grilles are appropriate for most installations.

Important Note: These Infinity Reference speakers use a low impedance design to pull more power safely from your car stereo or amplifier. This design is compatible with virtually all factory and aftermarket stereos.

Installation Note: These Infinity speakers do not include screws or speed clips. You may be able to use the factory screws to install them, but it's always a good idea to have an assortment of self-tapping screws (5/8" to 1") and speed-clips on hand.

Great factory replacement speaker. Works well with factory head unit, factory amps. Sound is crisp, tight and accurate. Replaced my rear door speakers, factory bose started crackling, paired up these speakers with baffles and a speaker kit of dynomat and couldn't be more pleased with the results. Great factory replacement speaker if your looking to get real loud with aftermarket amp, Infinity kappas would be where to look.

Pros: Good quality, Great sound, Crutchfield support.

Cons: Wish Infinity would make a lower powered component set so I could replace my front speakers without having to add an extra amplifer.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Surprisingly strong speakers for their size. Clear and with better bass response than I have a right to expect from 4x6 speakers. Just wish my 02 Silverado had room for larger speakers, as they tend to be drowned out by the 6 1/2 inch speakers in front. May look at modifying (cutting) the sheet metal in the rear doors to allow vertically mounted 6x9s or some sort of component setup in the future. A sub is definitely a necessity with the speaker sizes I presently have, though.

Pros: Clear. Excellent bass for their size.

Cons: Size, but that's not Infinity's fault.

very nice

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Given space where speakers were needed, not many options. Mid 90's GMC. Recent purchase of Alpine HD reciever with optional power pack. Blew stock speakers within days. These really sound great & enhances the performance of my new purchase. Very affordable, beat the quality & price of local stores.

Pros: sounds great in stock location

Cons: could not go bigger size due to location

great sounding 4x6 infinitys

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

these are great sounding speakers for the money im a audiophile and know what good sound is I had an older set of plate speakers by infinity that has a plastic basket assembly and the magnet was to heavy for the plate and broke off they have since fixed that but I got these any way because they are in the back of the truck and 3 ways are not needed. I was very surprised these sound just as good as the plate 3ways and have more bass because they have more surface area than the 3in woofers on the plate speakers.

Pros: great sound, great price, easy install and free shipping

Cons: spec sheet says 2ohm load not so great for my jvc deck makes amp work hard and cause it to get hot I may have to add a 2ohm resister to the neg side on each speaker to make them 4 ohm also metal basket dosnot go all the way to the edge of mounting lip you have to add washer to ensure you are on the metal and not just the plastic when installing the screws so the screws do break the plastic and the speaker comes loose from the door.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

A Crutchfield advisor(Blake) recommended these to replace my factory speakers located in the rear doors. The old ones still worked but sounded flat. These made a huge difference even though I connected them to the stock radio. Thanks Blake!

Pros: Super easy installation. Fit perfectly.

Cons: None.

Good but

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

These speakers are in the door of my 2001 Grand Am. When adjusting the volume to just these speakers they sound good clean and crisp and do not distort until past my where i want to hear anything inside the car. The problem (not really a problem) is not against the speakers itself rather i installed Focal's 6X9's in the rear and they completely over power the Infinity's. If I adjust to put more sound upfront I miss my Focal's. Nonetheless far better than the factory speakers.

Pros: Clean sound at an affordable price.

Cons: Wish the Infiniy's had the gain of the Focal's in the rear

Great sounding Infinity

Installed these in the small extended cab doors on my GMC Sierra. They sound much better and clearer than the original GM speakers. Easy install too.

Pros: Sounds great, fairly easy install, good price.

Cons: Not a perfect fit, some drilling required. Otherwise no complaints.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The sound was far better than the PPS speakers that were in our Jeep. I am not sure if these were the stock ones or an aftermarket from the previous owner. Installation was quick and easy.

Pros: Clear sound

Cons: Would like a little more fullness to the sound, but I think these are fair for the price.

Great speakers

2000 GMC Sierra 1500
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

2000 GMC Sierra 1500 single cab rear speakers finally needed to be replaced. By following the recommended installation proceedures, these speakers went in quickly and easily, and sound great. Just take care removing and installing the plastic mouldings. No additional amps or anything, just the stock stereo, and these speakers are crisp and clean sounding. Yes, you have to drill mounting holes... so what, you'd have to do that anyway with any other speakers, too, right?... and these fit perfectly.

Pros: crisp clean sound.

Replaced stock speakers with these in 03 extended cab chevy. Easy install and have been pleased. Installed infinities in front as well (again easy install). Both work well with stock radio. May add a sub later, but i'm good with sound as it is, beats the heck out of stock.

Very good sound, replaced the old speakers without any alterations. Had trouble getting interior back in place. Installation instructions great, but vehicle pretty old and sometimes plastic would not bend.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Being so small I didn't think these speakers could do much to impress. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The sound is crisp and detailed. They really add to the sound field in the truck, you get a real sense of "being there". They replaced a factory set in a Chevy C1500 extended cab and are coupled with the Infinity Reference 6032cf speakers in the doors and a slim sub and a Pioneer DEH-P6800MP head unit.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

These speakers made a significant difference in my sound system. There was one problem during installation. These speakers were installed in my 92 S-10 blazer in the front dash. The driver side speaker cover could not be install with the speakers because of the shape of the inner dash. I had to cut part of the speaker cover mounting bracket in order for the speaker cover to be reinstalled.

Infinity you have done it again!!

1997 Chevrolet S10
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

i have a 1997 chevy s10 regular cab with 2 10" rockford fosgate p1 behind me pushed by an alpine amp. I bout the Infinity Reference 6022si 6-1/2" for the door and they sound amazing and i had some "crappy" things in the dash and all they did was snap crackle and pop. I bought these and WOW what a difference! These things rule. I have a separate amp hooked up to my dash and door and no matter what you throw at them, there is no distortion and they take it like a champ! Now my family always used Infinity and had nothing but good luck. And i have had the same experience. Definitely recommended.

Plus One+ Woofer Cones: Each speaker uses a cone significantly larger than other speakers of the same size. This is accomplished by using a unique basket design and hi-roll surround. The Plus One+ design offers greater bass output and a significant increase in efficiency.

Woofer Materials: Each woofer is constructed from Injection-Molded Polypropylene. This process of cone molding assures a uniform cone thickness for superior linearity and clarity. It is also lighter weight and more rigid for decreased distortion and improved bass response.

Hi-roll Rubber Surrounds: The hi-roll rubber surrounds allow the woofers a greater range of movement, resulting in longer X-max and more bass output.

Textile Dome Tweeters: Each speaker uses an edge-driven textile dome tweeter for smooth, accurate highs.

True Four Ohm Impedance Technology: The speaker's 2.0-ohm impedance combined with the impedance of your speaker wire provides a true 4-ohm load to your connected headunit or amplifier.

Mounting: The speakers can be top- or bottom-mounted in a metric 4"x6" opening, or, using the supplied adapter rings, the speakers can be top-or bottom-mounted in a U.S. standard 4"x6" opening.
