Add powerful center channel sound to your home theater with Infinity's Beta C360. This speaker uses patented Infinity technology to dish out crystal-clear dialogue and potent special effects. Plus, it features a specially designed waveguide that spreads sound throughout the room so you won't have to sit in a specific "sweet spot" to enjoy it.

The Beta C360 owes its open, natural sound to Infinity's patented Ceramic Metal Matrix Diaphragm driver material — the same material Infinity uses in their top-of-the-line models. CMMD™ combines layers of ceramic with a stiff metal core for crystal-clear sonic performance. It's strong and durable, yet incredibly lightweight and responsive.

All the speakers in Infinity's Beta Series are voice-matched for consistent sound. This makes it easy to assemble a home theater system to fit your needs and preferences.

Great center channel

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I replaced an Infinity CC-2 center channel speaker with this one and I am amazed at what I was missing. The soundstage with this speaker is so much wider and the clarity of the voices is amazing. Voices were starting to sound dull to me with the CC-2. Crutchfield had a Beta C360 in their scratch and dent store so after some research I decided to give it a try. Best home theatre purchase I have ever made. It is large, but this is one case where I would do what it takes to make this speaker fit into your system. I actually have it on an audio rack at ear level beside the TV. The sound stage is so large that the unusual placement does not distract from my enjoyment of movies at all. I was so impressed with this center channel that I also got two Beta 20's to replace my front speakers. The Beta 20s complement the C360 perfectly in a 5.1 system. I read one internet review that said you should go with the beta C250 if you use the Beta 20's as fronts because the C360 is a 3 way speaker and would overwhelm the 20's. Not true. I'm pretty sure Infinity engineered the 20's to be used as fronts with the C360 as well as rears. I love my set up. You don't need a lot of power with these speakers, they have good sensitivity. I also love the metal grills of the Beta series (which is one reason I went ahead and got the Beta 20's also). I highly recommend this center channel.

Wow....perfect center channel Part3

At this price point, you will not be disappointed. I am currently using an Onkyo 674 receiver to power the system. It gets plenty loud and sounds great while doing it. An important thing to note is the cleaner the power you send it, the better the speakers will sound. The 674 dies out before the speakers do. I've listened to the exact same system on a friend's Onkyo 805 is breathtaking. I also have an old receiver that is cheap.the speakers sound like they are at max power, but it's just the receiver feeding them distortion and the speakers playing the distortion with great accuracy. The lesson here is, they will sound great w/any receiver, but if you want ear piercing volumes, don't cheap out on the receiver. I paid $225 shipped for the C360 is a steal at more than double that price.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I ordered the speaker, and it came with free delivery. The product shipped the next day, and I received it within three days. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast it showed up. My only complaint would be the condition of the box. It appeared to have been opened, and the side of the box had a substantial gouge. It was lucky for me that the speaker manufacturer had placed a very thick piece of Styrofoam on both sides of the speaker inside the box. It prevented me from having to exchange the speaker, because it would have most certainly been damaged. I was shocked at how large the box is. The speaker is HUGE!!! I already have an Alpha 37c from Infinity and expected this to be almost identical.ITS NOT! THE CABINET IS MUCH LARGER! Overall I am extremely pleased. It has excellent sound, and is very musical. It does a great job of producing clean accurate vocals, and I would strongly recommend it for anyone looking for an outstanding Center Channel Speaker for their home theater. My only complaint would be the grille. It comes with a metal grille, and while its personal preference (and according to their website the metal grille is specifically designed to improve its sound), I would have preferred that it came with a cloth grille.

Great sound!!!!

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This center channel delivers great sound, I own another Infinity center channel that is smaller and there is no comparison. The sound delivered is room filling without drowning out the rest of the speakers. The only down side is the size, this thing is big and heavy. This center channel was the missing link in my home theater system. Highly recommended.

Overview: The Infinity Beta C360 is a 3-way, dual 6-1/2" center channel speaker featuring Infinity's patented CMMD drivers.

Ceramic Metal Matrix Diaphragm (C.M.M.D.): Infinity's C.M.M.D. technology delivers accurate performance with dramatically reduced distortion for incredibly lifelike sound. Additionally, the C.M.M.D. drivers can withstand extreme temperatures, moisture, humidity and sunlight.

Woofers: The speaker's dual 6-1/2" C.M.M.D. cone woofers virtually eliminates coloration due to cone flexing, resulting in less distortion and superior accuracy. For a smoother response and improved durability, each woofer uses a rubber surround.

Midrange: The speaker use a 4" C.M.M.D. cone midrange for increased vocal and midrange clarity.

Tweeters: The speaker has a 1" C.M.M.D. dome tweeter, which offers superior stiffness and damping compared to traditional metal domes.

Constant Acoustical Impedance Waveguide (CAI): The 1" C.M.M.D dome tweeter is mounted in a Constant Acoustical Impedance Waveguide for improved high-frequency dispersion anywhere in your listening room. The CAI Waveguide design is ideal for home theater applications.

Acoustic Suspension: The center channel speaker houses its drivers in an acoustic suspension enclosure. The sealed cabinet provides you with tight accurate bass response.

5-Way Binding Posts: The speaker has one set of gold-plated 5-way binding posts providing a high-quality and durable connection to your receiver.

Magnetically Shielded: The center channel speaker is magnetically shielded for safe placement next to your television.

Rubber Feet: The Beta C360 comes with 4 installed rubber feet for non-slip placement on a shelf, stand or TV.

Adjustable Stand: The Infinity center channel speaker features an attached adjustable stand leg on the rear of the enclosure that allows you to angle the speaker forward up to 45-degrees depending on placement. At a 45-degree angle the center speaker stands 10.375" high.
