Our take on the Infinity SAT-450

More and more A/V receivers have advanced processing and six or even seven channels of power, allowing you to step up to 6.1 or 7.1 home theater. Add an extra satellite (or two), sold individually, to the Infinity TSS-450 home theater speaker package for even more enveloping surround sound. The 1/2" tweeter and 2-1/2" woofer dish out sweet sounds. You'll be amazed what an extra surround channel can do for your movie experience.

Product Research

Total Speaker Solutions: If your home theater system is 6.1- or 7.1-channel, you can add one or two of these speakers to the Infinity TSS-450 home theater speaker package for complete surround sound.

Drivers: The SAT-450 satellite speaker has a 2-1/2" poly cone midrange and 1/2" poly dome tweeter in a polypropylene acoustic suspension enclosure.

Mounting Options: The SAT-450 can be placed directly on a shelf, or mounted on a wall using the supplied bracket. The SAT-450 comes with a "ball and socket" wall-mount bracket. The speaker has a 1/4"-20 threaded insert in the back of the enclosure to accommodate the bracket. The speaker also has a 1/4"-20 threaded insert on the bottom for use with other optional wall brackets or stands. The bracket is 2-9/16" x 1-3/4", and mounts the speaker approximately 2-1/4" away from the wall.

Note: For proper mounting, the bracket requires four 1-1/2", #10 wood screws (not supplied). The bracket should be fastened to a wall stud, or, if a wall stud is unavailable, an appropriate screw anchor should be installed.
