Product Research

Woofers: JBL calls the woofer cone material in these speakers "Rigitex". Rigitex is a polypropylene material molded with ribs to help increase the cone's resistance to flexing. A rubber surround is also used to improve the durability and performance in this design.

Tweeters: These speakers use a 1-1/2" titanium composite cone tweeter.

Mounting: As these speakers are intended to be direct replacements for existing factory speakers, they do not include grilles, mounting hardware, or speaker wire.

Manual Correction/Power Handling Specifications: In the manual, the upper limit of the recommended amplifier power range is given as 150 watts, which is actually the peak power handling of the speaker. The recommended power range is 5-60 watts RMS, according to information provided by JBL.
