Since 1925, Jensen has been a pioneer in home and car electronics, developing landmark products such as the first high-efficiency loudspeaker and the first car stereo speaker. Now Jensen has partnered with DUB® magazine, the leading publication in the urban automotive lifestyle market, to introduce DUB Edition speakers and amplifiers which feature DUB-designed cosmetics and co-designed components.
Big bass and urban good looks. (Bolts not included)
The 10" DUBw10 subwoofer features a reinforced injection-molded polypropylene cone for optimum stiffness and maximum low-frequency output. Teamed with a high damping rubber surround, the sub gives you DUB-approved performance in a stylish and affordable package. The DUBw10 also features special venting for heat dissipation, a ceramic-ferrite magnet, and a heavy-duty stamped steel basket to give rigidity to the entire structure. The DUB-derived cosmetics include new dust caps, a new finish, and a stylish grille, so you get big bass and urban good looks in one package.
To drive this single subwoofer, we recommend a mono amplifier rated between 200 and 375 watts RMS at 4 ohms. For more information, please refer to our article on How to Match Subwoofers and Amplifiers.

These speakers thump in my 2002 Dakota. Great product at a great price.
Great sub for the price. I've had it installed in a 97 GMC pickup for two weeks and it shakes things up pretty good. I have it paired with a 400 watt 2 channel amp and bridged. You can't hear it coming a half mile down the road so if your looking for that this is not the sub for you. I would buy another one. As always another great experience with Crutchfield.
Great product with a great price thanks Crutchfield
The product was just what I wanted! Even though my last name is the same as the company doesn't mean I'm related...Trust me, I tried! LOL!! I've always bought from Crutchfield because of the products and the people there to help! I've known this company back from when I would receive catalogs showing their OFFICE products and electronics!!
The Subwoofer came in a timely manner as promised. The item was exactly as described, and is performing very well. I have ordered from Crutchfield in the past, and will continue ordering for my future audio needs.
Pros: Great sound. Excellent price. Reliable company.
Very happy with these subwoofers for the cost. Good sound and plenty of bass for me.
Not bad at all considering its size and price. I replaced my old school 12" boxed subwoofer with this 10" because I wanted my trunk space back and, man!, after I tuned it with my existing amp, I was amazed how much tight bass it can produce!!! I am very happy with this sub and I'll never go back to that big 12" one.
Pros: Decent bass, reasonable price.
Great sounding sub driver for the price. It replaces an Infinity driver that was bought in 1993. That driver has literally/finally just wore out. Foam surround gave up the ghost. So I suppose any new driver would sound better.
Pros: Price, sound
Cons: Funky looking cone and cover.
I replaced and upgraded a ported, down-firing pioneer home theater powered sub woofer with the Jensen DUBw10. The internal amplifier basically gave out so decided to salvage the enclosure. The Jensen DUBw10 did not squarely fit in the existing cut-out so I had to somehow adjust it with a coping saw. The screw holes all aligned. I also had to drill a hole for the speaker wire connection. I must say the Jensen DUBw10 didn't disappoint! The living room windows were rattling with the powerful bass. I powered the the sub woofer with a Soundstream Nano 400 watt rms mono amplifier using a 30 amp home power supply that I bought from ebay. I highly recommend the Jensen DUBw10. What a steal for the price!
Pros: Price, well-built
Cons: Didn't fit the cut-out initially.
Great sub for the price! Put in the proper size box this sub can really thump. Shakes my 05 Silverado extended cab very well.
Pros: Price, quality, great sound
Cons: Nothing at this point
great deep bass in a sealed box. would recommend to anyone with tight space for a sub!
Great sound for the price. I have 2. Both are in sealed boxes at .74 cf. driven by a S/O 4050.
I liked it so much I bought a second one for my dad's birthday. Thanks to the great price offered by Crutchfield I was able to purchase this beast. As I enjoy trap, dubstep, and hardstyle music, bass is EXTREMELY important to me. This sub NEVER bottoms out, and has a lovely rich sound. I am running a Soundstream Picasso Nano PN4.520D with the sub sitting in a .65 cu. ft. box. On my dad's truck, it is mated with a Sound Ordinance M-4050 amp.
I'm old, at least in car stereo years. I have a Lexus with the Mark Levinson system in it. The factory 8" sub was rattling, so it was time to replace it. I purchased this sub along with the Scosche LOC80 to hook up my old-school Punch 100X2 amp. I built a sealed box (.9 cubic feet). When I fired this up the bass was crazy loud and sounded great. But like I said, I'm old. It was too loud. I turned down the gain on the LOC80 and on the amp. It still hits very hard, but manageable. I am amazed with this little sub. I was going to put in a single 8 inch, but I think I'm happy with the 10. I hooked the LOC80 up to the speaker wires from my stock sub. The stock sub is now disconnected. The LOC80 has two sets of line level inputs, I only used one set because I only had one set of speaker wire to work with. I wasn't sure how this would work and it worked great for a subwoofer application. If you doing a multi channel setup then you would have to tap into a pair of speakers and use both inputs. Items arrived in three business days as expected. I ordered this sub because it came with a grille. I had to paint the grille because it was silver and stood out too much. All in all, great bang for the buck.
Pros: Cheap comes with grille Sounds great
Cons: wish the speaker cone was solid black. I don't like the looks of the silver "DUB" center. I know, I'm being petty. Doesn't come with a template for cutting the hole. Just says cut at 9.2 inches.
I'm extremely disappointed in this sub. I purchased due to the low price and good reviews, but it doesn't compare to the Rockford Fosgate or Pioneer subs I've used in the past. I took my time setting the system up, using an oscilloscope and test tones from 40-5000 Hz (-0db) to verify max clean output on the head unit and to set amp gains. The sub is mounted in a subthump sealed enclosure under the rear seat in a 2004 Sierra crew cab. I have it powered with a Jensen DUBa1450 mono amp, 260 Watts RMS @ 4 ohms and to get the sub output to match the front stage I have to turn the amps gain up all the way, of course this means it clips at about half volume. I just ordered a Punch P1S2-10 to replace the Jensen sub. Hopefully the 2 ohm load and better sub will allow me to set the gains properly and achieve a good quality sound.
Pros: low price
Cons: weak output
This sub is exceptional for its price ! i have an amp that supplies about 175 watts to it and it works great and smooth.
Sounds good. Quality of the sub is good and it was one of the few that would fit in a shallow box. It does not have the optimal sound I wanted but think the issue has to do with my box design and not the sub.. I made a .75 sealed box that has a lot of contours part fiberglass, part wood so that it would fit in the space needed.
Pros: Shallow mount
Cons: my box design.
Great sound and goes deep.
Pros: Fits great and comes with grillalao goes deep
Cons: Sub hits grill when pushed too hard
This little thing has some kick to it!! Got it in a .87 ported box.
Pros: Hits pretty hard
Best BASS for your Buck. I've purchased 2 of these. One I use for home theater in a custom made box. And the other I have an a 10"Bazooka tube sitting in my Corolla. Nice clean deep bass ??
Pros: Nice Crisp Deep Bass
These subwoofers really are the real deal! I finally had these broken in and adjusted my amp to my type of music. It produces great bass and I actually have to adjust my bass settings down. That's how great they are. I'm pushing these with a Kenwood 500w mono amp, bridged to 2 ohms and wired in parallel. The grills supplied actually saved my money and they look superb.
Pros: Everything is great with this product...See my review...nuff said!
Cons: Absolutely none
Sub sounded good, but construction is poor, I have an SUV that places the sub in back, one day hit a bump and the magnet fell off of the motor structure, once I removed it from the box I realized that it is designed poorly and the integration of Motor Structure/Basket is the weak link. Replaced with Cerwin Vega HD series and quickly noted construction difference
Pros: Hard hitting, great Xmax
Cons: Poor construction, Motor structure appears glued on, not riveted.
Fantastic sound comes from this powerful sub. Mine is Powered by the DUBa4100 amplifier and together they create deep, rich bass with all the power you could ever want.
Pros: Deep bass, High quality.
Cons: None so far!!
Great sub. However, be careful with wattage. I'm pushing them with a 500W mono amp and they are pushed to the max. They hit hard and sound great though!
Pros: Hit hard. Sound great!
Cons: Wattage may not be accurate. I'm pushing them hard with a 500W mono Rockford Fosgate class D amp.
Looks well made haven't had the chance to hook up yet as I am still debating the box design
Never had subs before. Now I know what I have been missing. These things look AWESOME! I installed one in a box I had made for two small mid-range bass speakers(for doors). Holy crap! Just the one rattles a bit. Can't wait to natal both in a professional box(goes under back seat). Although the speakers will not be able to be seen in their full glory....they WILL be felt. Thank you, as always, Crutchfield, for a great product and great shopping experience. v/r Tim
Pros: Look great Pounds hard Great price Great brand
Used this to replace a damaged speaker in a 10in BAZOOKA tube. The sound is awesome. Earth shaking bass.
Pros: Good price, great sound, study built
Cons: If you are going to use a speaker grill you must use the speaker grill that is furnished with the speaker to allow this monster to move.
This sub is astonishing. I'm using this in the sound ordnance sealed .75ci bass bunker, fairly underpowered by a bridged Kicker CX300.4 amp (160w) and it sounds nothing short of incredible. Smooth, tight, loud, impactful, linear bass. I have a 350w 12" subwoofer and amp in my Honda Accord and this little thing with only half the power honest to goodness holds its own. How this can be sold at $40 is beyond me. As usual cheers to Crutchfield for excellent install supplies and tech support. Buy this and you will not regret it.
Pros: Sounds amazing (see above), very good looking, unbeatable price, very compact
Cons: Grill is easily scratched, makes no difference to me though. In terms of cons that matter: none.
Don't let this old brand fool you, Jensen has been around for years and they do not disappoint for the price! Not going to rock the neighborhood, but sound is clean and compatible to more expensive brands! Looks good and does the job! Curious of the longevity!
Pros: Price and looks! Stands up to my JLs in the past!
Cons: None yet!
LIKE ALL THE JENSEN PRODUCT, GREAT QUALITY
Great products at great prices this sub was everything I expected and more
Pros: Everything I ordered came quick and was in perfect working order.
Cons: The specs for the size of front and rear were off so I ordered the wrong size
Sound is quite good from this open box sub. I am not an "audiophile" but it has made an enormous difference in the sound of my music!
Pros: Great price. Great boom.
Cons: None thus far.
I ordered a complete system for my jeep I love the look of these speakers and easy to install but the sound was horrible good not hear them much at all. Now I did not purchase a amp to push them so that could be why so unless you have a amp don't purchase these.
Pros: Great look
Cons: couldn't hear them
Was quite impressed with this subs performance. Purchased two ofthis subs as replacements for my box.Man do they hit hard
Pros: Great bass!! Nice price
Cons: No hardware
Excellent value, couldn't be more pleased with the 2-10" subs I purchased and installed.
Subs sound amazing. I was absolutely shocked at the bass that came from these considering the brand and price point. I would definitely buy more!
Awesome speakers, small irk is that even though the grills in the pictures show caps/bolts, the product doesn't come with any. Other than that, amazing subs.
Pros: Inexpensive, good look, well built
Cons: No screws/capsCrutchfield response on 6/20/2016 Thanks to Ian's review, we've updated our online presentation to reflect that mounting screws for the grille are not included with this subwoofer.
Great price for a sub and it hits hard
Pros: Price, sound, ease of use
Nice low bass not all distorted like the rest of the speakers. Nocera price for a quality speaker
Pros: Hits really low bass for a 10
I have been a fan of Rockford for years and this subwoofer is definitely on par if not slightly better than my previous R1S410. I was impressed by how the low frequency that it produce and it certainly keep my car thumping!! For those who are looking for a sub under $70, look no further!!
Great subs for the price that they are
Pros: Great bass quality Hit hard Clear sound on all bass levels
Cons: Only a single voice coil
Awesome subwoofer. Installed two of these 10" woofers, powered by a 1000W mono (470W RMS) in my truck. They sound great and hit pretty hard for an inexpensive sub. If you are looking to add some punch to a factory stereo these are perfect. Seem to be well built and they have a good look to them. A good bonus that they come with a grille as well!
Pros: Inexpensive, they look great, and the sound quality is pretty impressive.
Cons: None so far.
These subwoofers were exactly what I expected.
Pros: Tight bass response.
Cons: Just had them installed, so non at the moment.
Awesome sub. I used a Jennsen amp that is about 20 years old to drive it. Kept it for many years after removing it from a car I traded in. Amp bridged is 350 watts peak and 150 rms. The bass rocks my 2003 350Z. Thumping!
Pros: Great value and sound.

Great deal on a well made entry level sub. History as well first car stereo I ever put in was a Craig power play under dash cassette and a pair of Jensen 6x9 coax in the rear deck of my 68 Camaro. The improvement over stock am radio was unbelievable and I was hooked. Seems like every car I've ever owned had something from Crutchfield in it, thanks Bill! [ Robert Paxton Jan 11, 2018 ]

This my third order for the Jensen DUB subwoofer. First one was put into a slot ported box. Second was mounted to a bazooka tube. They both bump hard and have been reliable so far. And the best thing about it is it's only $40. Can't go wrong with that. For the Sub I'm ordering today I'm gonna make a custom enclosure for my 2016 Rogue. I know this one won't let me down. No, they are not shallow mount. The one I bought lost its magnet over a bump and was not repairable, replaced it with a cerwin-vega that was better constructed, I don't recommend these subs. [ Lester C. Jan 27, 2017 ]
No they are four and three quarters of an inch when mounted on the top [ craig Jan 26, 2017 ]

Installed two with a 1000 W max (480 rms) mono amp. More of a budget package but still sounds really good and added some much needed bass. [ Brian Mar 04, 2016 ]
If they are in the same chamber what I mean by there is no divider in the box then you can only put a maximum of 250 watts RMS if the box is ported and is smaller than the recommended ported size then I recommend you reduce the power level to compensate for the size of the box if it is divided in the middle you can put 250 watts to each speaker also I would recommend a 500 watt amplifier and if the box is sealed and has a divider each one is separate in its own chamber I recommend you go 10% higher than what the RMS is so that would be around 275 300 max for each speaker RMS it is a nice well built speaker good luck but I recommend that you really follow the diagrams that are given to you the specs for the best performance try not to deviate from them no more than 10% on the largest side Or 10% on the smaller side [ craig Mar 04, 2016 ]
