Kenwood's Sport Series speakers add clear, exciting music to your ride without breaking your budget. The KFC-1362S 3-way 5-1/4" speakers combine a woofer, midrange, and tweeter, along with a built-in crossover, to bring new clarity and enhanced performance to your car audio system.

The polypropylene woofer delivers full, bold bass that'll overcome the drone of road noise, while a balanced-dome midrange driver allows vocals and instruments to be heard more distinctly. A ceramic tweeter supplies the musical details that make music come alive. Grilles are included.

These are nice speakers but be advised if you are replacing your stock factory speakers with these be prepared to also add a sub woofer and amp assembly as the bass response in these are absolutly non exststant I was so disappointed with these after my install I thought I made a terrible mistake until I installed the box and subs to round out the sound.

Pros: They fit and look nice

Cons: All highs and no lows at all very tiney sounding on their own you will need a subwoofer set up to round out the sound

you get what you pay for. i needed new mids to replace my stock ones. my stock speakers wasnt loud enough. the sub in my car would drown the stock speakers. so i bought these speakers for the back deck beacause this is the only one that would fit my car (says crutchfield) well this speaker is good for the money. the speakers is louder then my stock ones and also a little more clearer but not by much.

When I first turned radio on after installing speaker I honestly thought I had a couple of blown speakers .In my opinion thes speakers are sub par in comparison to the stock speakers .They are very boxy sounding and forget about having any kind of bass in your music. I had to turn bass way down on my radio To play at any level to drown out road noise with window down

Crutchfield makes car stereo installation easy with the correct hardware and detailed instructions. These speakers replaced 18 year old units and while the install was easy on the rear deck, I think these are better as door-only units. There's not enough bass for rear deck locations in my opinion, but these low profiles will go fine in doors.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I had a bad speaker in the door of my 06 Taurus. I wanted to replace all 4 speakers so they would be the same. I ordered these because I could replace all 4 for under $100. It was a bonus getting the wiring harnesses, brackets and install documentation for free. The install went very smooth thanks to the instructions. The new speakers have crisper highs, better midrange and adequate bass. The original speakers had more bass, but I realized how "muddy" it was after installing and listening to the Kenwoods. Overall they sound better than the originals and very pleased.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Well what can you say, for the price these speakers are decent. I got another deal that cut the cost of these in half and I happily paid that amount for these speakers. If you are building a budget system to replace a factory system, and the price is right, these speakers will hit the spot. Speakers are often get what you pay for, and these are no exception. They can definitely handle much louder output than factory, I'd say they go almost twice as loud as my stock speakers without crackling/distorting.

Very happy. I bought these on price as replacements for a buzzy roll bar speaker in my Jeep. Didn't ask or expect much; the acoustics in a Wrangler aren't exactly concert-hall quality. These took me by surprise. The sound is good enough that I actually enjoy the radio now instead of just tolerating it. Vastly superior to the speakers I replaced.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I'm not an audiophile, and my Jeep Wrangler is hardly a platform for getting top quality sound. Still, when I sold my Chrysler, I pulled the aftermarket HD receiver and swapped it with the Jeep's standard one. I had just been happy to be able to hear the stereo over the wind, road and tire noise, but it made a HUGE difference. So huge that I decided I needed to replace the buzzy overhead speakers. I bought these speakers based on price alone and didn't expect much. Wow, was I surprised! Major improvement piled on what was already a major improvement. The only downside is that now I'm thinking I need to replace the dash speakers as well.

I recently decided to change my stereo speakers in my car. I ordered speakers from Crutchfield for the rear of the car. Front ones in the door didn't look to bad so i thought i could get by with just replacing the ones in the back. Once i recieved the first order i installed the back speakers( which are also Kenwood by the way). The difference in the sound was amazing. Once i heard the music from those speakers, i had to have the speakers for the front also. I placed, an order for the front speakers, and istalled the kenwood KFC-1362S speakers in the doors.WOW! What a difference. The sound is crystal clear. I love my Kenwood speakers and now have the sound from my stereo that i've always wanted. So if your looking for great sound, call Crutchfield, they will hook you up with the sound you've been missing. The Crutchfield team is great, and ready to help with whatever your stereo needs may be. If you run into any problems with installation, they will walk you through on the phone. What more could you ask for? Thank you Crutchfield, from a very satisfied customer.

Great speaker for the price especially with all the adapters you get and free shipping. Sound good with the stock radio. Mids are good and so is the bass. Gave them a 5 star because they were perfect for my app.

Bought these speakers to replace the two front speakers in my "02 silverado. I thought that it would be a tough job, but i was wrong! The adapter kit was made to fit my truck, as was the adapter wires for the speakers. It took me less than 20 minutes total to do both doors! Crutchfield made it idiot proof!! The speakers sound great! The bass could be a little better, but for the price, Iam very pleased! Everything fit perfectly. Thanks!!

Good speakers for the money. They can be heard clearly in my jeep wrangler with the top down. While speakers are rated a 4 the service and installation kit from Crutchfield are a 5. I also bought the 4 inch version for the dash. I gave those a 3 only because the bass was a bit lacking.

2008 Honda CRV EX
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I bought these to replace the door speakers in my wife's 2008 Honda CRV. What a disappointment these speakers are. The factory speakers are about 6-61/2" but use a special mounting system and small magnet to fit in the door speaker hole. This site says you can only use a 5-1/2" and included an adaptor. So I bought these speakers and installed them. I lost every bit of bass and midrange and all these speakers have is the high frequencies. Granted it is clearer, but they have less volume per watt driven to them, have absolutely no bass whatsoever and the midrange is overpowered by the highs. I also found out when the door panel is off that you can fit larger speakers if you are willing to drill mounting holes. Needless to say I need to remove these and find something better. I suggest you stay away from these unless all you want is the high frequency.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I had been looking for speakers for my 2000 Saturn LS2. (the rear doors) I bought some Infinity Reference 6022si 6-1/2"/6-3/4" Shallow 2-way Speakers for the front and love them. The speaker holes on my car were odd shaped and I didn't want to spend a lot of money on rear speakers. (I honestly didn't think they would make that much difference b/c I already had nice speakers in the front) But, when the rear speakers started crackling I decided to replace them with these speakers. Wow, I was blown away with the sound quality. They are on par with my Infinity's. (I know, these aren't hooked up to an amp, just a factory head unit, so that might make a difference) They are clear and there is no distortion. The bass isn't like a sub, but guess what? It's not a sub. I can hear the full range of sound and it is consistent at any volume. I can't wait to hear them with my new Alpine CDE-103BT receiver.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

After thoroughly reading other users reviews (and following Crutchfield's size recommendation), I decided to take a crack at these speakers. Right off the bat, I was greatly surprised at their great quality and powerful sound for such small speakers--even when plugged to the stock head unit!! In addition, the quality of their materials is superior to other name brands I've dealt with in the past. I know that some reviewers gave these speakers less than 5 stars because of their bass performance (or their lack thereof). But let me tell you, the bass these things deliver is plenty and enough to fill out a small SUV (CRV)! They won't blow you away like a sub might, but their bass is clearly distinguishable from the mid and low tones. I also love the fact that they are 3-way for speakers this size. Before I received the speakers I had my doubts, but now I'm quite convinced that these are the best they are in their category!

1994 Ford Ranger
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I recently purchased 2 sets of these to install in the front and back of my 94 Ford Ranger. I was a bit disappointed with these speakers. The highs and mids sounded alright (a bit "tinny" and flat though) but the lows on these speakers are close to horrible. Very "boxy" sounding bass.... at lower volumes they performed decently, but if you try to push them a bit, the bass sounds very "boxy". And I'm not talking about trying to make them "blow out your windows" loud, I just mean turning it up a bit. I ended up keeping one set in the front which I think they work decently for (with the fader pushed to the rear a bit), but I replaced the rear set with some heavier pioneers which made a world of difference. So in short, if you listen to music at lower volume levels, or you just need to replace the front speakers, then these will probably suffice, but if you like to turn them up at all (and I mean at all), and/or are also looking for rear replacements, then I think you will be disappointed. Also, if you do buy these, make sure your stereo has sufficient power to run them. Under powering them will only add to the "boxy" bass sound. Personally, I would recommend stepping up to the next level of speakers... I've always had good luck with Pioneer and Infinity. All that being said, Crutchfield has amazing customer service and product support and I will continue to purchase products from them!

By reading all of the reviews I thought I was getting a good deal on great speakers. Installed speakers and found there is barely have any bass that comes out of them. The frount speakers overpower the back so I have to lower the front speakers. I turned the bass to +6 and not the preformance I was looking for. The stock speakers were a whole lot better then these. I have to deal with these until I can get a better speakers for my car. However, I should have stayed with the theory of "You get what you pay for".

Woofer: The woofer cones are constructed from injection-molded polypropylene. This process of cone molding assures a uniform cone thickness for superior linearity and clarity. The cones are lightweight and rigid for low distortion and good bass response.

Surround: Each woofer uses a treated cloth surround.

Midrange: Each speaker uses a 1-3/16" PEI balanced-dome midrange. PEI (Poly-Ether Imide) is a polymer film that has ideal sound characteristics, making it perfect for use as a midrange. A PEI balanced-dome mid-range produces a wide soundstage for superior imaging.

Tweeter: The speaker utilizes a 1/2" ceramic Piezo tweeter for crisp high frequency reproduction.

Mounting: The speaker features a standard 5.25", 4-hole mounting pattern.
