Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

It's an antenna adapter, so there isn't really much to say. However, I pick up far more distant FM stations than I used to with the same antenna plugged into a factory head unit. Can't ask for much more than that.

Pros: Maybe it's down to my head unit's tuner, but I get great reception now.

Cons: Won't grant you wishes.

Gregory from Maryland on 8/28/2017

2003 Chevrolet Avalanche
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

No issues, plugged right in and works like it supposed to. It also adds 6-8 inches of length, that made install easier. I have a lot of room in my Avalanche's dash, so none-issue. However, if it was a tighter space it would have been tough to fit everything in to the stock space.

Pros: works well, secure fit

Cons: none so far

It works

One end goes in the stereo and the other goes to the antenna. It'd be pretty hard to screw that up.

Pros: Works well for connecting a radio to an antenna.

Cons: Doesn't work well as a toothpick.

What can I say about this antenna adapter that others haven't said already. Easy to use and works like a charm, and connects my old factory antenna cable to my new Kenwood that I received as an early Fathers Day gift.

Pros: Gave me an extra foot of clearance space, and allowed me to hook-up and connect everything together without getting my hand cut up on the sharp metal inside the dash opening.

Cons: None at this time.

This antenna adapter was a gift from Crutchfield for my buy. I have to say it a great item. some people may see it like nothing but with this adapter your installation is cleaner and the cable management way better that is you only use the original cable with out this practical adapter. I have to say that I highly recommend to use it for any radio installation.

Pros: Flexible, have to say is the right size of length, and is really cheap.

Too bad it was necessary to have to use an adapter but that is GM for you. Works fine and am glad it was provided free by Crutchfield and glad Metra makes it to remedy GM's weirdness. Did GM do it to save weight or something?

Firstly, I would like to say Thank You to Crutchfield for including the antenna adapter in the purchase of my new Kenwood head unit. I didn't know that the original antenna connection would not be compatible with my head unit. The antenna installation was simple. Just plug and play.

Pros: Plug and play, easy to plug in and install, definitely needed this part

Cons: Only con that I could think of is that the adapter is a little long. Would've liked it to be a bit smaller because the there's not enough space behind the unit but oh well... not that big on an issue for me.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I purchased an in-dash double DIN receiver from Crutchfield for a 2010 Colorado. Crutchfield provided this antenna adapter at no cost as part of the purchase. Unfortunately, the adapter does not quite fit. I contacted technical support. They did not have a solution other than to say there was a note to remove the copper ring inside the adapter.

Pros: None

Cons: Not applicable for my vehicle. Locally purchased a Metra AW-ADGM adapter, which fit perfectly. It also was significantly shorter in length, another plus.

Nice adaptor. Was suggested by Crutchfield as an add on and was absolutely necessary. When I put in my new deck it took seconds to install. Only gripe is it's very long. I installed a media receiver so it was shorter and left a lot of space. Would have been tight with a CD player.

Pros: So easy to install

Cons: unneccessarily long.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The Pioneer MVH-X370BT is one good looking and sounding headunit. For not spending a ton of money, I'm as happy as can be. It took me maybe an hour to put install. Everything fit very well in my 1996 Camaro. The wiring harness was easy to put together also. Another thing, if you put the new antenna adapter in, it plugs into the headunit, not the piece that goes into the actual antenna. The Master Sheet can be a little confusing on that part. Overall I love this product. It works perfect and it looks great in the car. Very satisfied.
