This antenna adapter was suggested by Crutchfield after placing a new head unit in my shopping cart. It should be compatible with both my vehicle and the Pioneer AVH-4200NEX. This will be the first time I've installed a new head unit, but from what I've read this adapter is necessary to connect the stock antenna to the Pioneer head unit. [ Scott  Jan 13, 2017 ]

Crutchfield reputation , and sale price. [ Herbert  Dec 31, 2016 ]
My husband removed my factory stereo from my 2008 pathfinder & replaced w/ a jensen vx4022, however the new setup receives no radio signal. After watching tens of youtube videos, we finally realized we need an antennae adapter, which the installation manual for the new system never mentioned. We are hoping this adapter fixes the issue, as it would at least give use to the 3 wires remaining from the factory radio wire harness. Fingers crossed! Thnx crutchfield!" [ Thera  Dec 19, 2016 ]

Crutchfield includes this in the installation kit for the stereo I ordered. The kit seems pretty comprehensive with wiring adapters, mounting hardware, bolts and this antenna adapter. Came free with my receiver, I trust Crutchfield for picking out the right parts for the install. [ ZACHARY  Feb 01, 2016 ]
Needed this "power" adapter for my Nissan Altima. I'm "old school" so when I saw the "power antenna" lead on the adapter I didn't think I needed to hook it up because to me a "power antenna" pops up when you turn on the am/fm radio. But it must be hooked up because the Altima has a "powered antenna". So make sure you hook up the lead! [ Tim E.  Jan 31, 2016 ]

It was given as part of the installation kit. [ Allan  Dec 17, 2015 ]
good quality [ mark  Dec 10, 2015 ]
Wasn't given a choice as to which one. Most of these items are in a free kit but then if you choose the steering wheel adapter kit there is a charge for each. [ LOUIS D  Dec 05, 2015 ]
