Our take on the Metra 70-2021 Bypass Harness

The Metra 70-2021 harness enables you to install a new car stereo in your Impala or Monte Carlo. It uses a "jumper" to bypass the factory amplifier, which means you don't have to run new speaker wire from your new radio to your car's speakers — this saves you a lot of time on the installation, so you can start enjoying your music sooner.

Since you didn't have to cut off your car's original radio connector, it's easier to put the factory radio back in when you sell your vehicle or return it at the end of the lease. Just plug the factory radio back in and keep the aftermarket stereo. Must have item

Wish I would have found this when I put the new radio in my car. The factory amp went out, so I had to cut and splice the input wires to the output wires. This would have saved me a ton of time, and would look a lot cleaner too.

Pros: Saves time, no cutting, you know the connections are correct

Cons: None

Not sure why this got sent to me.

Not sure why I got this. As far as I can see, I didn't need this part. If I do need, I don't know where it goes because there are no directions.
