Axxess AX-ADCH02 Interface Harness
Connect a new car stereo in select 2007-up Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge vehicles — retains factory amp, warning chimes, and more
Our take on the Axxess AX-ADCH02 Interface Harness by Crutchfield's Dave Delamere
Retain your vehicle's factory features with a new radio
You want to install a new car stereo in your Chrysler, Jeep, or Dodge, but you don't want to lose the useful features built into your factory radio. The Axxess AX-ADCH02 harness works directly with the AX-ADBOX1 or AX-ADBOX2 interfaces to give you the ability to connect your new radio to the existing wiring in your vehicle. The harness will also keep your safety warning chimes, Retained Accessory Power (RAP), and the blind spot detection system if it's present in your vehicle.
Important Installation Notes: You must use this harness with the AX-ADBOX1 or AX-ADBOX2 interfaces to install your car stereo.
Please enter your vehicle information or call an Advisor at 1-888-955-6000 to find out if the AX-ADCH02 and its accompanying interface are compatible with your vehicle. Warranty: 1 year.
Note: Most vehicles will require additional installation parts please identify your vehicle if you haven’t done so. You can also call an Advisor for more information.
Compatibility: The AX-ADCH-02 must be used with the Axxess AX-ADBOX1 or AX-ADBOX2 Auto-Detect System Interface (sold separately) when replacing your factory radio with an aftermarket stereo in the following 2007-up Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep vehicles (as of 9/16/2013).
|Town & Country||2008-up|
Factory Amplified/Non-Amplified Compatible: The Axxess AX-ADCH-02 can be used in vehicles with or without factory amplifiers, including digital amplified systems found in many Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep vehicles. Both balance & fade control are retained when used with AX-ADBOX1 interface (sold separately). The AX-ADBOX2 interface (sold separately) does not retain fader in vehicle's with factory digital amplifier.
R.A.P (Retained Accessory Power): The ignition power source of many vehicles keeps the radio on until one of the doors is opened. This feature is called the R.A.P. (retained accessory power). The AX-ADCH-02, along with the Axxess Auto-Detect System Interface (sold separately) is designed to retain this feature.
Optional Steering Wheel Control Interface: The AX-ADCH-02 features a right-angle 3.5mm connector that lets you keep your vehicle's OEM steering wheel controls via the optional Axxess Steering Wheel Control Interface (120ASWC1, sold separately).
Vehicle Harness: The AX-ADCH-02 harness is fitted with two 22-pin connectors which plug into the Axxess Auto-Detect System Interface (sold separately) and your Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep vehicle's factory radio harness. There is also a 12-pin connector that plugs into the Axxess Steering Wheel Control Interface (sold separately). There are 8 bare wire leads that will need to be hardwired to your vehicle's wiring and aftermarket radio harness.

You will want to contact an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat to discuss compatibility with your factory system. They will be able to pull up your vehicle and see if this will integrate. If it does not, then they will also be able to discuss other options with you. [ Krissy Aug 28, 2015 ] Staff
