Our take on the Subaru Bluetooth® Wiring Harness

 Add Bluetooth® to your vehicle

 Add Bluetooth® to your vehicle

This harness works with a Parrot hands-free Bluetooth kit to connect your compatible phone to your car's factory stereo system. Find the correct harness for your vehicle, then pick one of these Parrot kits: Parrot MKi9200, Parrot MKi9100, Parrot CK3100, or Parrot CK3000. You're on your way to enjoying hands-free calling in your car.

Remove the plug from the back of your factory radio. The harness plugs into that factory plug, then provides a connection to your factory radio and to the Parrot kit. Reinstall the factory radio and mount the Bluetooth kit, and you're ready to go. When your cell phone rings, your radio or CD player is muted automatically, and the sound from your phone comes through your front speakers. Warranty: 1 year.

Works great, Saves time, Easy to use

I used this to install a Parrot Bluetooth kit in my 2006 Subaru Outback Limited. It works great and makes installation easy. The harness plugs into the back of the car stereo, the Parrot Bluetooth connection then gets plugged into the harness and then the connectors that were originally in the back of the car stereo get plugged into the harness. It is basically foolproof because you can only connect everything one way. Also it is less expensive than other Subaru wiring harnesses I saw online.

Pros: Easy to install and less expensive than other Subaru Bluetooth wiring harnesses

Cons: None

No instructions, but I think it can only be installed one way. This, plus the microphone connection was all I needed to get bluetooth phone and audio in my '08 Outback.

This made the install so much easier! The Parrot instructions were pretty lacking and confusing, but with this wiring harness, you simply find matching ends and plug them together! I didn't even have to deal with the "mute" wiring.

Pros: Simplifies the install considerably

Cons:

Save time and possibly money

I bought this to use with the parrot Bluetooth mki9100 and after I stopped being an idiot and sat back for a second to understand what needed to happen this made my install much easier than splicing wires together. Finished in about 2 hours as opposed to who knows how long.

Pros: Super simple Makes for a clean install

Cons: Girlfriend forgot the instructions.

Exact fit for 05 Outback LLBean

Exact mate to Parrot Bluetooth controller & Subaru radio jack. No modification needed on my part - snap it in and forget about it!

Pros: Clean manufacture, enough length to harness without causing a huge mess behind the stereo/climate control console. Exact match to car.

Cons: None
