Metra Helios CS-HDMAV
HDMI-to-composite video and stereo audio converter
Our take on the Metra Helios CS-HDMAV by Crutchfield's Kramer Crane
Use an HDMI source with an older TV
This scenario might sound familiar: you have an older TV that doesn't have any HDMI inputs, but you want to connect a high-definition source like an Apple TV, Blu-ray player, or cable box. If that's the case, consider using the Metra CS-HDMAV. It takes an incoming HDMI input, and converts it to composite video and RCA stereo audio. This lets you use the yellow (video) and red and white (stereo audio) inputs on your old-school TV to watch an HDMI source.
- connect an HDMI source to a TV that doesn't have HDMI inputs
- takes the incoming signal from an HDMI cable and converts it to composite video and RCA stereo audio
- features a selectable video output format switch (NTSC and PAL)
- plugs into a USB power source
- HDMI cable and composite video/audio cables not included
- warranty: 1 year
- Our 60-day money-back guarantee

Why did you buy this?
Because I have an old HD TV that doesn't have enough HDMI inputs to be able to connect a blue ray unit to it. All blue ray units today only have HDMI inputs so need this to be able to use with my TV. [ Steven Mar 02, 2018 ]
We have Christmas tree lights that are driven by an analog music signal. All our sources are HDMI, so we needed a converter. [ Thomas Jan 15, 2018 ]
Have an older projector and a newer receiver, needed a converter to keep everything running until I upgrade. [ Jonathan Jun 24, 2017 ]

We are usually not able to mirror a smart phones onto a stock radio as those radios don't usually have an A/V input on them; just a aux audio input. But aftermarket radios have ways to possibly mirror phones. I recommend contacting an advisor on 1-800-324-9695 or through our online chat to get a personal recommendation on this. I purchased this cable to play my Classic IPOD through my home theater receiver and it works perfectly. I'm sorry I can't answer your specific question. One thing for sure, the price of this cable is very affordable. [ Michael Mar 10, 2018 ]
