Overview

Our take on the T-Spec Adapter Cable

Make reliable connections

This T-Spec patch cable will send your audio signals cleanly across the veritable battlefield of induced distortion and uncertain factory electronics in your car, so you'll get all of the music with none of the noise. It's useful for connecting any source with a minijack output (portable MP3 player or video monitor headphone output) to a home or car audio receiver with standard RCA inputs. T-Spec cables use shielding with double-layer woven coaxial construction to resist noise.

Cable construction features

Recycled copper often contains impurities that can impair a wire's conductivity, so T-Spec uses only oxygen-free non-recycled, virgin copper to maximize signal flow in their cables. Each machined metal RCA plug features a patented 4-way split tip that guarantees the best possible electrical contact. T-Spec's proprietary PVC jacket gives each cable extra flexibility for easier installation, and the durability required for marine certification. Warranty: 1 year.

My RZR 800 stereo setup required an RCA to 3.5mm adapter for installation. The Crutchfield advisor I spoke with recommended this cable. So far it has performed perfectly!

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The sound quality was fine, but the cable did not last very long with regular use. The 3.5 mm plug separated from the cable in less than a year. I have already replaced it.

Pros:

Cons: Did not last very long

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Cleaner, clearer signal transmission than with other cheeper mini to RCA adapters I've used in the past to connect my computers audio to my home stereo. The right channel RCA end was a bit tight and took some effort to get pushed into place, but it works and sounds great.

Pros: Clean, strong signal, no noise

Cons: Overly tight connector on the rt. channel RCA end.
