They work and look great
Great so far! Supports my large center channel speaker with no apparent issue. Easy to install, though I used drywall anchors & different screws.
These things are solid! I didn't have a stud lined up with where I wanted to mount, so I used 4 toggle bolts with flat washers for the mounting to drywall. Works great and holds my heavy center beautifully level and secure.
I installed it for my Definitive center channel above my TV. Easy to install and have no issues what so ever. Only thing you might want to think about is better anchors for the wall. Which I did use. It is going to hold a investment.
Sturdy and nicely finished
Pros: Very well made.
Sturdy and we'll constructed
Pros: Well made and sturdy
Works as designed. Was skeptical after reading the reviews however this is a good sturdy and well made product. If you need a mount like this don't hesitate go ahead and get it.
Pros: Works as Designed and well made
Easy to install, does a good job supporting a relatively heavy center channel speaker.
Pros: Easy installation.
Cons: slight problem with the adhesive on the rubber supports.
Nice simple mount and adjusted perfectly to hold my Polk CS10. Couldn't be happier!
Pros: Simple, sturdy, adjustable length, 15min. to install
Great I got it holding a big center channel speaker
Pros: If u anchor it rite will hold weight you can even extended the bracket as most tvs have that sensor under the tv take the speaker away from the wall nice
Cons: No anchors
they look nice and easy to install. solidly built. i feel very comfortable that they will support my 28lb infinity center speaker. ( screwed into the wall stud)
Cons: none..possibly a bit stylistically chunky for some?
I bought 3 sets. Used for Center speaker to mount above TV. Used other 2 to mount left and right speakers on wooden TV stand. My speakers weight are 25 pounds each and about 27 inches tall. I drilled holes in the bottom of the brackets and screwed a screw into the base of the speaker to secure it to the brackets. They are rock solid attached.
Pros: Construction, Heavy Duty Steel, Sturdy
Cons: Better screws, 6 Self-adhesive rubber bumper pads (adhesive pealed off of pads when removing from package) Listed has having 4 Drywall anchors but they were not in the box. I bought 3 pairs and none of the boxes had drywall anchors.
Item is as advertised. Solid brackets
I used the AM15 to hold a 17 pound center channel speaker below a wall-mounted television. I selected it because I liked its look and still do after installing it. The bracket is sturdy, adjusted to fit my speaker precisely, and was easy to quickly install. I could not align it with studs and have it centered under the TV, so I used toggle bolts with no problem. To angle the speaker slightly downward I stacked in the rear of each L bracket three heavy duty felt discs from Home Depot. I am very happy with this purchase and believe the price of the product was reasonable.
Pros: Sleek, classy look. Sturdy. Adjustable. Easy to install.
Cons: The 3M rubber pads provided have no adhesive and must be glued to the bracket.
Delivered as promised. Well made and was a perfect fit for my Sonos speaker
Pros: Fully adjustable, easy install
Easily adjustable. Heavy duty.
Pros: Easily adjustable. Set screw to hold length as desired. Heavy duty.
Cons: a little pricey
I am extremely impressed not only with Crutchfield for the expedient shipment and very professional packaging; however the product is as good as Crutchfield which is absolutely stupendous. Very well made and yet extremely sturdy. You can feel the quality. Installtion was absolutely a breeze. Best of all, it looks very professional on the wall. It is holding my Center Speaker fro my surround sound. You can't even tell that it is there, it is not intrusive at all. All I can say is that this has been an extremely pleasant experience with both the company (Crutchfield) and the product. For the record, I am not an easy man to please, an extremely meticulous individual to the point of being neurotic. Yet, a bigger feat. Anthony
Pros: Sturdy and very strong. Quality. Perfect fit, yet adjustable in different lengths. Looks extremely pleasing to the eye and does not stick out like a sore thumb. Very easy to install. don't hesitate, buy it.
Works as advertised. Suggestion 1... screw brackets into studs to hold better.... suggestion 2... go to your local hardware store and buy new longer screws.... screws that come with the product are too short
Pros: Does exactly as advertised perfectly
Cons: Buy new screws. Will make a huge difference
Used for holding center channel speaker above TV. installed easy. We are using the minimum extension and were able to mount on studs and fit the speaker nicely. Can only use stud install if your component that sits on it is wide enough.
Pros: Holds a simple speaker or component.
I was looking for support brackets to mount my Cambridge SoundWorks center speak above the LED television that is housed in a wall of built-in cabinets. I didn't want to just lay it in the cabinet behind the TV, and upper and lower cabinets had doors so I couldn't "hide" it. So, rather than build a shelf or housing for it out of compatible wood, I went with the very sturdy brackets that very easily supported the 18 lb. horizontal center speaker box. It integrates really well with the cabinetry, sits behind and slightly above the flat panel so that the speaker wires are virtually invisible, and I'll never have to worry about the brackets bending or coming loose from the cabinet housing. The Product does exactly what I need. It was the least expensive and yet a relatively elegant solution, and took me only 15 minutes to mount inside the cabinet. The center speaker's weight and size easily fit within the parameters of the support bracket engineering. I really like the product and what
Pros: Sturdy for the speaker weight and size of center speaker that I have mounted; Easy to install; relatively "invisible" from our theater seating in the front of the built-in cabinets; solid engineering for my needs.
Cons: The only challenge is getting the mounting of two brackets in exact alignment so the speaker won't look like it is "listing" left or right. But, a good laser level tool can obviate that problem very easily.
Overall a really solid product for light center channels. Nice look as your center channel will be "hanging" on the wall effect. Recommended Installation: If mounted on drywall..Go to Home Depot / Lowes and buy some dry wall screws/brackets that are rated 30-60lbs and throw away the hardware that came with the product.
Pros: Great option if you do not have a heavy speaker. I like the rubber "dots" that come with the brackets to offset any vibrations that could affect the sound.
Cons: Need correct drywall screws/mounts to install. Original hardware is for hanging pictures and not speakers.
The product is very easy to install and is working for various sizes of speakers. It worked very well for my Klipsch RC-52.
Pros: I have the choice between putting the TV on the wall, or the central speaker. The last solution was the best for me (faster, cheaper and better for comfort)
Cons: The fact that it took me so long to find it
On paper the AM15's looked like the perfect solution for my application. I mounted a VCC-1 center channel speaker using the AM15's. I have the mounts extended to 11" from wall-to-tip. The VCC-1 weighs 23 lbs., well within the 33 lb manufacturer limit. Unfortunately, the mounts are not strong enough to hold the speaker at a perfect 90 degrees, perpendicular from the wall. The speaker sags enough that it is easily visible from the side. A gusset would have easily prevented this issue. In addition, the little sound isolation "dots" did not stick to the metal supports. I had to use adhesive to get them to stick. The VCC-1 is absolutely awesome!
Very impressive design, very sturdy. I have a reasonably heavy center channel speaker, which due to room characteristics, I had to mount *above* my plasma (yikes!!!). The Pinpoint answered my needs -- it is highly customizable to the depth and width of the speakers and the position of the wall studs. Recommended!
Very impressed with the stoutness of this bracket. I actually, because of the heavy duty building of this bracket, was surprised that it was not rated for higher weight holding power than it was !! Will buy again for sure !! Great non- obtrusive design too.
It works well, serves the purpose well. it is stronger than first thought. Would like mounting screws to be included. Had to find screws to mount.
Great for hanging up heavy CC speakers over wall screens. They don't blend in very well when you have to use them on the top of the wall mounted movie screen. However, the speaker it supports is more that 20 lbs. and it is the only hanger I have been able to locate needed to hold up the powerful sound producing CC speaker. That makes it a top of the line wall bracket for my large theater room using a 133 inch projector screen.
These brackets are really cool for keeping any speaker, cable box secured on the wall, going virtually unoticed!
Solid Product. Follow the instructions and be sure to get both of them into studs(so your center channel needs to be at least 16" across), and you are golden. Mine is solid as a rock, and i have no fear of my 30lb speaker falling. The mount disappears behind the speaker, and gives a seamless look so long as you attach them correctly. DIY'ers need a level, a tape measure, drill and stud finder, and thats it. I would think they would be a little to heavy duty to mount in just drywall so be sure to get them into studs or masonry. Would recommend to anyone looking for a solid, straight forward center channel mount.

Like Jen alluded to in the answer above, the included screws aren't designed for mounting into brick. However, if you used masonry screws to secure the PinPoint AM15, that could work on a brick fireplace.
