AWESOME, STURDY, WELL MADE AND EASY TO INSTALL
Item # 121AM41B | MFR # AM41B
This item is no longer available.
The Pinpoint AM-41 side-clamp mounting brackets grip your speakers gently but firmly so you can wall mount them, then aim them where you want for the best sound.
With adjustable side grips, the heavy-duty AM-41 brackets from Pinpoint are perfect for attaching surround speakers or other medium-to-large-size speakers to your walls. The brackets let you mount traditional wood cabinet bookshelf-style speakers that don't otherwise have a standard mounting point. They're also ideal for self-amplified speakers such as studio monitors.
The AM-41's versatile design allows you to tilt your speakers downward up to 10 degrees, and up to 90 degrees left or right to direct sound where you want it. You can use the non-marking, non-slip clamps alone, or for a more secure mount, use the included screws to attach the mount to your speakers. Decorative covers fit over the wall plates to conceal the mounting screws and wires for a clean-looking installation.

AWESOME, STURDY, WELL MADE AND EASY TO INSTALL
These mounts are very strong.
I shopped long and hard for some wall mounts to hold my Monitor Audio Silver speakers. These did not disappoint. They are rugged yet discreet and easy to install. I installed into tongue and groove wood boards so there was no need to mess with finding a stud. The side mounts snugly held each speaker. The wall mount covers easily hid and handled heavy gauge Monster cable. Speakers can be tilted down, up, or inward.
Pros: Sturdiness, easy installation, and good looks.
Well built and easy to install.
Sturdy and easy to install, very flexible mounting
Pros: Easy to install, good load rating, very flexible for speaker orientation
Order process and delivery were superb but it's Crutchfield....no surprise there. I was told I couldn't use these for my Polk RTi-1A or 3 (by Crutchfield).....I beg to differ. These are the most solid wall brackets I've ever tried but make sure you hit studs. Even the "largesse" and odd shape of the Polks can be accommodated. If it makes you feel better, a few well placed cable ties should reassure you. Solid mounts at a decent price....but it's Crutchfield!! Good work guys....
Pros: Solid...will carry a lot of weight
Cons: Would like it if the arm could pivot, but that might possibly take away from sturdiness.
Easy to assemble nad worked great. Make sure you can find a stud to set these into.
Very nice product. Sturdy. Holds my Monitor Audio Bronze 2's with no problem. The supplied wood screws are a bit of an overkill on length and diameter. THey could be used to hold a 300 pound wood gate to its post. Since I have an older home with plaster walls, wall anchors more than sufficed for the total 17 lb mounting weight including the brackets themselves.
Pros: Solid brackets that can handle some serious weight.
This product was a necessary purchase because of the weight of the ELAC speakers. Once you find the studs it installs easily, although I suggest you locate the studs before purchase since installation may not be exactly where you envisioned it. also, if you want to tip the speakers at a down angle, you will want to use the small screws (supplied) and attach them to the speakers.
Pros: Sturdy, well built.
Cons: Costly. You may need to attach speakers with small screws.
This is a decent product for mounting speakers. Their ability to be used vertically or horizontally and rotate really helped me get out of a jam. I had initially wanted to mount my speakers vertically but soon after assessing the situation more carefully it was clear that was not an option. I wish that the speaker mounts would tilt down just a hair more. The only con is that they leverage screws as a secondary means to help keep the speakers secure. Meaning you have to essentially drill these small screws into your nice wood speakers. I opted to not do this and rely on the primary method to secure them. So far the speakers seem very secure, I don't know why anyone would want to drill into their speakers, even if its with a tiny screw.
Pros: Flexibility, Easy to install, Horizontal and Vertical capabilities.
Cons: A little expensive, secondary means of securing the speakers is odd.
Very sturdy and well put together. Easy to install and looks great with my Elac Debut B5 speakers. I have the speakers slanted now and am a little concerned about the speakers slipping through although the manufacturer said that the braces in place will prevent it. I can always add the attached small screws to the speakers for extra protection. I am debating whether I want to put screws in my speakers.
good quality, works as described, very happy
holds my 22lb def tech speakers
I bought these for my Polk TSi200's, they were easy to install and hold the speakers securely. They look great and hide the speaker wire well...a great buy!
Pros: Securely hold the speakers Look great
Well constructed and very dureable. Speakers look and preforme better wall mounted.
AS advertised and very sound, sturdy product.
Pros: Great fit and quality
We were looking for a way to mount our Klipsch Rear ATMOS Rear Height Speakers in a Home Theater. These mounts were perfect. They swivel side to side and tilt up and down. They are exactly what you need to mount the klipsch speakers or similar types. Very easy to adjust to fit multiple widths and lengths of speakers.
Pros: Great Price / Very easy to install / Works well with a lot of speakers / Looks good on the wall
Nice product. The finished install looks professional and very nice. I have them holding a set of Paradigm Studio 10s v.5 with no problem for my front highs. I did not want to put holes in my speakers for the secure screws. On the bottom of my speakers there are mounting screws so I made a wire loop (sprayed flat black) and connected it to the screws and around the base just for safety measures. Also use a socket and not a screw driver especially when mounting into a stud as recommended. My stud spacing was off on one so I used some heavy duty sheet rock anchors.
Pros: easy to install
Cons: none so far
Works as designed. Easy to install and works well.
Pros: Easy to install Built well
Cons: Doesn't swivel as much as I would have liked.
Great wall mounts. I have only one dislike and that is that the level and tilt could be designed a little better. I have my Polk Audio TSx110B speakers on them setup as surrounds in a 5.1 system. I have them set up level and it is a little hard to get them perfect, as they move of level as you tighten the screw. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a good sturdy wall mount.
Pros: Sturdy and look good.
Cons: A little hard to level the speakers or to get the exact tilt on both speakers.
i was looking for a speaker wall mount that can handle the size and power of a larger bookshelf for a while, i finally made my decision to buy the pinpoint wall mount and was not disappointed the design is simple to install and looks well
Pros: the swivel and tilt option is great i can face the speaker in any direction i want
Cons: none that i came across
Excellent product, parts fit well together, based plate covers cable entry from wall, adjustable. I used it on pair of Martin Logan 15 as rear surrounds. Shipping was exactly as scheduled and I received email notices of status which I liked.
Pros: Quality build of product. Well engineered. Easy to install.
These mounts are fantastic. They are very well built and look great when installed.
I've installed the Pinpoint AM-41 speaker mounts in several High School and University Music Rehearsal Rooms. Rated at 35 lbs these are very sturdy and easy to install.
These hold my Martin Logan LX16s very well. To install them I used an electric drill to drill holes and drive the screws.
Pros: The brackets themselves are heavy duty.
Cons: The screws are cheap. Plan to spend a lot of time driving them by hand so you don't strip the heads.
Excelente product and quality. Good for hold heavy speakers. The best I try.
Pros: Strong, good quality, good finishing
Used these brackets to mount Cambridge Audio Aeromax 5 front speakers. They worked great, like the ease of adjustment and tilt. I found the quality of the provided hardware very good, unlike one of the other reviewers. I suspect he didn't drill pilot holes into the studs, which you should do when attaching any large screws. Also, I would recommend using the screws provided to attach the brackets to the bottom of the speakers. Even though I didn't like the idea of putting screws into my brand new speaker bottoms, I felt after hanging them that I wanted extra protection and stability.
Pros: Good heavy duty brackets with good included hardware for mounting.
This Is built very nicely. It seems to hold the speaker very well. Look and finish are superb. These are holding a pair of Klipsch RB 61 II bookshelf speakers. This completes my 7.1 system.
Pros: Looks and finish. Well built. Sturdy.
Cons: None that I can think of.
love them!!! they are better the i expected.i bought them to keep my klipsch b2"S safe and out of the way. they add to the looks of the speakers. i like the way they can be tilted and swiveld. the installation was a breeze. thank you crutchfield, my new electronic store!
Pros: good looking, eazy installation, very well built and you can adjust the speakers right where you need them.
Nothing against Crutchfield, they did a super job getting this to me quickly. Now for the Pinpoint: The Product looks nice and feels pretty solid however, they aren't. When I put up the first one it bolted to the wall fairly easily. The second one is another story entirely. Two if the three mounting bolts snapped off while screwing them into the stud as directed. The platform that the speakers clamp onto is not all that stable. The clamping system seems pretty flimsy. They don't feel strong enough to hold them in the event of a good bump or earthquake. I really don't want to drive screws into the bottoms of my new Klipsch speakers either. I am going to get a velcro strap to provide additional security.
Pros: They look nice when you get them on the wall.
Cons: Obviously inferior mounting hardware. The bolt heads snapped off when screwing them into the stud as directed. I got better bolts from a local hardware store..
Side-Clamping Bookshelf Speaker Wall-Mount Bracket: The PinPoint AM41 side-clamping bookshelf speaker wall-mount bracket has been designed for traditional wood cabinet bookshelf style speakers that do not have a standard mounting point from the manufacturer. Using a solid platform with side clamps, the PinPoint AM41 offers a 90° swivel and 10° tilt. The AM41 can support a speaker that is 5.5"-12" wide and up to 13" deep with a maximum weight of 50 lbs. Side clamps have specialized non-marking, non-slip isolation pads to provide a safe and secure contact point for the speaker. The AM41 comes with a decorative cover for the wall plate to conceal mounting screws for a clean installation (all mounting hardware is included).
Note: The PinPoint AM41 is sold as a pair for mounting two speakers. The AM41 is available in black only.
Speaker Capacity: The AM41's side-clamping design works well with bookshelf loudspeakers that measures 5.5" to 12" wide with a maximum depth of 13" and a maximum weight of 50 lbs.
High-Quality Steel Construction: The PinPoint AM41 is constructed from high-quality steel with a smooth satin black powder coated finish for long life and durability.
Side-Clamp Design: The PinPointAM-41 is designed to mount bookshelf-style speaker using a side-clamping system that requires the speakers to have flat sides. The speaker may be mounted either vertical or horizontal as long as it is between the listed clamping range and does not exceed the maximum weight handling. Speakers are held in place using two adjustable side-clamps. The provided non-marking and non-slip isolation pads hold the speaker securely without marring the finish. Additional security screws are provided for a more permanent installation if desired.
Angle Adjustment: This side-clamping bookshelf speaker wall-mount bracket can be tilted downward up to 10° and can be swiveled 90° left or right.
Wire Management: Additional features include wire management channel cutouts on the wall plate allowing speaker wire to be run directly behind the mount for a clean, professional appearance. Speaker wire routing paths are found on the wall-plate as cut-out slots at the top, bottom, sides, and center. These can be used with up to 14-gauge wire and can be used when mounted to either drywall or wood-studs.
Keyhole Slotted Mounting Plate: The PinPoint AM41 uses a "keyhole"-style mounting system to allow for quick and level installation. The top mounting hold is slotted so that the mounting screw can be installed on the wall first, then the wall-plate can be placed on the screw and then leveled. The AM41 comes with a decorative cover for the wall plate to conceal mounting screws for a clean installation (all mounting hardware is included).

They looked like sturdy mounts and I build airliners. [ Emmett Jan 21, 2018 ]
I'm currenty using bookshelf speakers as side surround. Due to the layout of my listening area they have to go directly on the wall that's flush against the seating area. These will be used best to turn them inward and down. [ J Jan 04, 2018 ]

Yes they will [ Blake Aug 14, 2017 ]
I had similar concerns. After going back and forth in my mind about the risk of possibly damaging my speakers, I decided to use a small screw through the hole in the center rear of the base plate to secure each speaker to the clamping system as backup. The clamps are quite tight, but in the final analysis I felt better providing some backup restraint. This has worked for me. [ Jelte Oct 23, 2016 ]
There are 3 holes in the mounting plate (behind the clamps) and one holes each in the sides of the clamps. The kit comes with three 1/2" wood screws to run through these holes and into your speakers. I chose the three in the bottom plate threading into the bottom of my speakers. During this part of the setup, you will probably want an assistant to hold the speakers while you do the screws (maybe you can use some bungie cords or something, instead of an assistant, considering your mounting height). [ James Oct 23, 2016 ]
Small black screws come with the kit so you can seciure the the speakers to the bracket. [ BILL Oct 22, 2016 ]
They are very popular models and work with a wide range of speakers. We have more on order and expect to have them back in stock by the 14th. If you need a pair, we recommend placing a backorder for them. That will ensure you get a pair from our next delivery and because we don't charge you for a backordered item until it ships, it won't cost you anything to place the order now. I hope that helps!
